Tyler and his team did a fantastic job with all 3 of our bathrooms. They were prompt, so respectful, and worked with no major delays, even showing up in a snowstorm without batting an eye. The attention to detail, communication, and the overall work ethic of the entire team is amazing and that is so hard to come by these days - Even our kids fell in love with Mr. Tyler and Mr. Alex. Additionally, they stayed true to their bid, and timeline which was such a breath of fresh air! Highly recommend Rye Construction and will be reaching out to them again when we are ready for our kitchen remodel!

We didn’t think contractors like Tyler existed!When we bought our house, we knew we wanted to add a new bathroom to our unfinished guest suite but we had heard contractor horror stories. We didn’t want to baby sit, project manage, or have dozens of issues coming up.Luckily a friend referred Tyler to us and we were immediately impressed by his level of detail.Tyler came to our home within days of reaching out to provide a quote.Throughout the walkthrough of the project, he was checking the logistical details of our space to know exactly where things would go and any potential issues/challenges we’d need to work around.This level of detail made us confident that Tyler did the due diligence to prevent as many surprise expenses from coming up since he addressed them upfront.His quote for us was so detailed so we could specifically see line item by line item the costs and what wasn’t included (like tile, the vanity, and light fixtures) so it was very clear what additional costs we could anticipate and knew what we would need to provide. He revised the quote twice for us to get us everything we wanted.Throughout the entire project, Tyler was always on it. I always knew what they were working on and what days they were coming. He always responded to my texts the day-of. They started the week they said they would and finished the week they said they would.His crew was respectful, polite, and kept everything tidy.On top of all that, he made great design considerations like an oversized shower niche and putting the shower handle by the door instead of underneath the shower head so you can turn the water on without getting wet. Details like these made all the difference!The bathroom came out beautifully and we couldn’t be happier.We’ll be using Tyler and his crew for any renovations we have like this in the future!

Tyler and his team did an amazing job of a full renovation of my basement into a studio and bath so I could use it for Airbnb. He was a great partner in design and what was possible. He came up with creative solutions to hide the sump pump in the kitchenette and to add built in shelves. He also kept me in budget, reining me in when my ideas got too wild. He has suppliers lined up (ex, cabinets) that allow him to move quickly. Couldn’t recommend this business enough!

I highly recommend Rye Construction both in terms of the final product and the process during the project. I had a “mudroom” remodeled into a bathroom. Tyler was a pleasure to work with and is knowledgeable and skilled. He was great in communicating with me throughout the duration of the work. He recommended a designer who had good suggestions for both design and materials. Any remodel or construction does take longer than hoped, often due to scheduling inspection appointments and the inspector not always showing up when scheduled. But Tyler stayed closely in touch with me throughout any bumps on the road (permits, out of stock items) etc. I love my new bathroom and am happy to have chosen Rye/Tyler for the job!

His team helped me turn an outdated 1959 basement into a new space available for rentals! Not only is Tyler a great GC, but he’s also knowledgeable in the short-term rental realm. There were a few tasks that I decided to tackle myself, and Tyler was really informative and helpful throughout the process.

Highly recommend! Tyler and his team are very detail oriented and communicative. We absolutely love our finished basement!The project was a turning a 1,000 sq ft unfinished basement (bare concrete, no walls, no plumbing) into a 2 bed, 1 bath, wet bar and living room. Tyler worked with me on my layout to make sure it was feasible, produced a very detailed big and project plan. Over the course of the project he communicated when his team would be onsite, any changes to timeline, and any unforeseen changes to the project. He accommodated a few change requests easily. His whole team was incredibly professional and timely - we enjoyed working with all of them. In my opinion the project went very quickly.If you're looking for a renovation, especially a basement buildout, I highly recommend Rye Construction.

Tyler was easy to work with on our basement finish project. This was a substantial project, and his pricing was in line with the other two quotes we received. His was the lowest but that isn't why we went with him; meeting and talking to him made us feel he would do us right, and he did. Even getting to 100% complete without delay. Highly recommend.

We hired Tyler and his company to convert a half bath to a full bath and remodel two rooms on our lower level. The best thing about them was they communicated with us about every aspect of the work. Since we were living in the house during the remodel, it was important to us to know when they would be arriving and leaving, who would be working and on what part of the project. They were very sensitive to this issue and always let us know everything that was going on. The work was done at a very high level and the bathroom in particular turned out beautifully. Tyler was great to work with and gave his professional opinion which was really helpful. We had a utility room that needed functionality by adding a wine cooler and kitchenette and I needed ideas on layout and design and I felt comfortable through the entire process. This was our first construction project and Tyler was flexible and able to work around our timeline. We are using our space for Airbnb so Tyler’s experience in this field is necessary since he understands the technicalities involved. Rye Construction was aWeSoMe!! Tyler & his crew made me a super cute & trendy in-law suite in my daughters unfinished basement!! I absolutely love it!! I have a little kitchenette with an island - open to my living room - 2 bedrooms with nice size closets - an aDoRaBLe bath that has subway tile in the shower & a vessel sink he made fit on an old vanity - I even have a laundry room & lots of storage space - he let me know if there was any issues that needed to be addressed & kept things as close to schedule as he possible could - we were remodeling thru the peak of covid - so getting supplies was challenging - but the finished project was exactly how I envisioned - I would absolutely recommend Rye Construction - Tyler & his team are just really nice & honest & their work is impeccable!!
