I had the pleasure of working with Mario, and the Walter Construction team. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of construction services!!We had a leak in our roof, water was dripping down an old exhaust vent. Mario came out and looked at the roof, he told me everything looked good and water must be seeping around that old vent. He came back two days later and caulked the entire area. He didn't charge me for either of these visits, even though our house is clear across town and he had to use some roofing materials.Unfortunately, the next time it rained the drip down the vent returned. I called Mario and he came back out the next day. He and another gentleman from Walter came out and performed a "wet test". It was obvious the vent was the issue, not the roof. Rather than trying to do another repair that might not work, Mario recommended that we remove the vent completely. He also recommended that we remove the old furnace vent that was no longer being used.Mario's crew was out two days later, they removed both vents, patched the holes where the vents were coming out of the roof, and shingled those areas in a perfect match to the rest of the roof.In total Mario and the team were to the house 4 times, and although you might think this is a bad thing, I assure you it wasn't. They came out each time and took the most appropriate action possible, with the end result being the removal of the vents and full patching of the roof. This is really what should have been done when our roof was replaced 4 years prior (NOTE: it was NOT Walter Construction who replaced the roof previously). Mario and team were amazing to work with and only charged me for the final repairs. They could have easily charged me hundreds of dollars more for all the visits and consulting but, he told me there are things more important than money. It's obvious Mario is a man of ethics and someone who believes in providing his customers with the best possible service.There is no doubt the next time I need construction work done on my home, I'll be calling Mario and the Walter Construction team!!

The owner, Walter, and contractor we worked with, Mario, were best-in-class. We underwent a large home renovation with them and could not be happier with the end result. They provided multiple, fair priced options for each step. Nothing is perfect but they were proactive for problems that arose and solutions. We can't thank them enough and would recommend to anyone exploring their services.

Everything you could ever want in a general contractor is with Walter Construction, and especially Mario Alvarado! This guy knows his stuff! The prices are reasonable and the quality of the work is top-notch. I would highly recommend Mario and the Walter Construction team for any of your home construction needs.
