Marc did a beautiful job installing our new roof. We couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. And, when the plumber mis-installed the water heater piping up through the roof, Marc came back TWICE to fix the plumber's shoddy work, to make sure it was done properly. We appreciate his attention to detail beyond words. He also went the extra mile, providing us with paperwork that we sent to the insurance company. Our new roof allowed us to reduce our homeowners' insurance rates, and we had no idea before he told us this! I would recommend Marc hands-down for any roofing job.

Marc came the same day I called him to temporarily seal my leaking skylight to prevent further water damage. His caulking job held up for several more rain storms. He demonstrated the various issues with the way my skylights had been originally installed, spent considerable effort tracking down the correct shingles for my roof, and re-installed the flashing and elegantly reshingled the relevant area around the skylight. The repaired skylight has now survived a couple of rainy days with no further leaks. He communicated clearly throughout, and was up front about the cost of the replacement, with no surprise charges. What more could you want from a contractor? I would highly recommend him.

After the wind storm in December I called 1st Response, Marc came to our house and assessed the damage quickly. He also found that the chimney and a small EPDM roof needed sealing. He did the work in a time frame that worked well for us and the quality of his work was extraordinary. An added bonus is that he's easy to get along with and I enjoyed his presence. Mark is the one person business. To the best of my knowledge, he did the right kind of work to repair my roof. He responded within a day or so; I think his price ($300) was fair, for a problem around a leaky vent). He is quite an interesting talker, and I am retired, so I spent quite a bit of time with him, in the attic, and on the roof. I appreciate that he is experienced and knowledgeable. I interacted with other roofers, and some (Bulldog Roofing) wanted to sell me much more than I needed! One caveat, he said he would come to my house at a specified time, and came later. He did this more than once. He ended up finishing as the sun set.Service: Roof repair

Once in a while you come across businesses that go well beyond the call of duty to solve your problem. 1st Response is one such example. The owner, Marc, is very helpful.He understands exactly what is needed to get the job done. Very competent and professional. We had a roof leak on a flat roof that Marc repaired. One year later there was a water puddle in the kitchen. Suspecting it might have come from the roof, I called Marc. He diagnosed the leak to a plumbing problem. When contacted, Marc promptly scheduled a consult, was personable and professional. He was very conscientious and determined to get to the cause of what was thought to be one water leak, but turned out to be from two different locations. Best Roofer in Boulder Area! Marc has a high standard for quality and honesty. He will do the job right! My roof was a nightmare situation, the ridge beam and rafters were rotted. Most roofers would have just covered it up or left me hanging since its out of the scope of their job... Marc helped me each step of the way through getting the repairs done.
