Exterior Guru worked on the roof at my apartment complex last March. The day after their work was "complete" there was a snowstorm and the ceiling leaked extensiviely. The ceiling ended up caving in the next morning displacing all the tenants on the top floor. Their owner, Joan, has sinced dodged responsibility for this and my insurance deductible has not been reimbursed. At this point I am fairly certain I am eating the cost so the least I can do is get enjoyment about writing this review and hoping someone sees it and takes their business elsewhere.

I had a great experience. Exterior Guru was recommended to me by a friend who recently used them for his roof.I contacted insurance about a wind claim, contacted EG to get a quote, they were happy to come out on short notice to go over my roof with the adjuster. The adjuster determined I had enough damage from a hailstorm last year to change to a hail claim; the catch was I had a little under a week to get everything the insurance required from the EG in order to meet the 1yr claim deadline. The team at EG worked quickly and was able to not only provide the documents for the ins, but complete installation within the time necessary. Not only were they quick, they performed quality work and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.If you’re looking for a quality, professional contractor, look no further. I will definitely recommend Exterior Guru to friends and family in the future.

I had two months for my insurance to get a new roof. I worked out an agreement for Exterior Gurus to do the job by a recommendation from a friend who works there. A month into it the agreement it was clear they were taking way too long to process this with insurance company. The roofing company would not give the final scope of work or a date to complete the work. So the delays might cause me to not get approval for an extension. I decided to step in and push it forward. The delays might screw me entirely from getting funds from insurance. As you may feel in this situation, I got real concerned and told the owner and her employee (a friend of mine) that if this did not happen we could have legal problems. The owner interpreted it as a threat of legal action before we worked together (which I think this may have happened to them before) and cancelled our agreement without any responsibility of the impact this would have on my situation or at least take care of referring me to someone else who could work on this. I now have less than one month to make sure this gets done.I do not recommend hiring this company as the owner is unwilling to work things out if there is a breakdown in how things are going. That's not good. We could have worked it out. Seek other companies is my suggestion.

I noticed a sign for this company in a neighbors yard and gave them a call regarding some roof damage. Randy replied promptly, inspected the damage and stated he would email me an estimate. After leaving voicemails and email at the main number, I never heard back. Poor way to run a business. If you don’t want the job, simply say so.
