My local go-to. My wife and I bought a fixer-upper in town and Mike, Ron and the rest of the crew have been super helpful in getting us the parts and knowledge we need to start fixing things. The prices are fair and they constantly have specials and deals. I wish they had expanded hours during the weekends but it works out. Thank you Big Johns!

Lumber is expensive compared to Lowes and Home Depot, what one would expect in a small town lumber yard. Ace means Ace Hardware and there is a lot of stuff to be had from paint to tools to plumbing to some auto and RV items. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Big Johns also rents equipment. Most items I need in a hurry to complete a project can be found there.I bought a thousand pound wood stove from the New England and with permission from Big Johns manager had it shipped to Big Johns. Without any kind of extra charge Big Johns' crew got it loaded on my trailer. That moves my rating from a 4 to a 5.

Rude staff following my partner and I around and making us feel uncomfortable. We were just shopping and they made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We kept being hounded by the blond lady working there. We won't be back. We'll go to delta for our business. We live so close it's a shame. But we rather make the drive to delta then feel like we can't shop comfortably. Maybe hire staff that doesn't profile your customers. 0 stars.

The staff is friendly and most helpful. If they dont have what you need exactly , sometime a solution can be found by being creative. They have given me references for things they dont provide. THIS IS NOT A BIG BOX type store Thankfully!!! Customer service is great from counter staff, to the folks in the yard helping to load those bulky items. Thanks for being there.

Soooo happy this store was here! We were camping and needed Mosquito spray (they were sooo bad) was able to get everything wr needed to enjoy our camping trip... Mosquito free!!

I'm sorry. But everytime I go in this store I feel extremely unwelcome. I'm am asked if I need help most of the time but it's in this weird aggressive manner like the employees are being closely monitored for compliance. Everyone just seems on edge and it's very uncomfortable!I also need to say I've been a local for going on 10 years now. Not as if I'm just some weirdo passing through town. Sorry guys you could do better..

This is a store that has everything you need except for food! As I am a female, I thought I would run in, get the package of nails that I needed, and run back out again. Well over an hour later, I finally left the store. It wasn't because I couldn't find the nails, and it wasn't because no one was available to help me. I was pretty much like a kid in a candy store. I just couldn't stop looking at all they had. Go there. You're going to find anything you need.

My first time in Big John's Ace Hardware I told a very helpful employee that I needed an education. I was trying to do a home repair on a toilet that I had never attempted before. I got more than what I came in for. Not only did I get the education I came looking for, but I also got some great tips for further projects on my to-do list.I didn't care for the handicap parking. I had to go up a steep incline because the access was blocked with products.

The store is well lit and the employees are very knowledgeable about the product's. You can get some of the old parts here for older homes. And get new parts for your new way of life. You can also rent just about anything from here. Come and check it put for yourself.

I've been in there a few times now. Went in there a couple weeks ago. Last time. Their customer service is awful. Unless you know EXACTLY what you want they get really snippy with you. And don't even try to come in within thirty minutes of closing. They act as if death will fall upon them unless they get out the door right at closing.

Its cheaper to go to Delta's Ace Hardware. The staff at Big John's harasses you and follows you around the store. They probably don't have what you're looking for. And the parking area is horrible and not near big enough.
