I just called the BBB on Friday August 25, 2023 to ask about membership fees as our franchise is opening an office in Colorado Springs in late September and the memberships sales girl literally became rude with me and hung up the phone. I am shocked. The BBB seriously has people working for them who treat potential members like this? Well the fun thing is, google reviews work so since she treated me like this, we decided to leave a review when her exact words were, she could not find out website that has been up for years. I asked her to spell it out and she said I am done with this<< Amazing. I asked what do you mean are you done with this do you have a problem with me or something? She said yes I do and she hung up.I plan on taking this all way to the top of the BBB headquarters and let the main person in charge know how we were treated. We are not interested in joining now but at least you know reviews go a long ways on google. Her name was Carla, Karla or ? She said it so fast we could not get.

It is useless to file a complaint with BBB. I went through mediation with them, and they kept saying "We're not roofers" whenever a technical point came up. As long as the company responds (even with lies), it's seen as a "good faith effort." The roofer (Colorado Pro Roofing) lied to the mediators about what it cost me to fix his mess. But the mediators (who had my receipts already) didn't even bother to stop and fact check! The roofer offered me a fraction of what he cost me initially and to fix up his mess, yet that is considered a "good faith effort" by the BBB. They tricked me into mediation just to get $100 dollars out of me. They had no intention of actually studying the rip-off. Choose a company by reviews on Yelp!, Google and Facebook -- not by the BBB.

Professionalism, Quality, Value POORApril 22-25, 2022As a dedicated 30 year public servant to the Colorado Springs metro area and I've worked many cases involving people in our community being taken advantage of. I was bit reluctant to write this review but I felt I owed it to the public to be aware and to always ask for proof or get a second opinion. I believe that this shop, the manager Matt, the front desk staff to include the technicians have a communication training issue. I am concerned that other individuals who are not as knowledgeable about vehicles, they have given me the perception that others may be overcharged or getting repairs that are not really needed, this is based on my personal prior experience with the Jetstream location.My circle of contacts is very large and I can guarantee you right now I would never recommend Aspen Auto for any repairs, oil changes and felt invalid as a customer knowing that I have lost trust in there company. I have expressed my concerns with the management Matt believing that I may also have the need to contact the owner of Aspen Auto including The Better Business Bureau for the safety of the community awareness.I've had my vehicle serviced at Aspen, North Jetstream for the last couple of years mainly doing oil changes as they had come highly recommended but they would always keep my vehicle all day even with an on line appointment first thing in the morning. Poor Customer Service.I recently had my vehicle towed after hours to the Aspen Auto on Tutt, due to my unforeseen circumstance, dropped off for the next morning on a Friday to have it evaluated. I called them at 10am asking if they received my truck as no staff called me. By the end of the day I received a call back telling me that I need a new engine (est 10-$14,000 for complete job, maybe) I was told they would get back to me as soon as possible. No call back on Friday till the next week, Monday which continued not with a phone call but with a with a “text” stating that I was going to need to spend $17,000 on an engine. I was later told I would be out of my vehicle for the next two to three weeks with no guarantee on time frame. Feeling I was trapped I almost gave them the go ahead but I decided to pull my vehicle from their shop late Monday and send it to the dealership for a 2ND opinion.The dealership evaluated my truck the following day, Tuesday and advise by 10am of the diagnosis so the repaired it and it was completed for $1,000.00. I picked up my vehicle at 4:00pm that day.May 2, 2022I later spoke to the manager at Aspen, Tuff location, Matt who I felt was giving excuses regarding the diagnosis of the vehicle and blamed the error on his front staff. If this is the case I am concerned that the front staff is lacking customer service training and they falsely made promises to include providing information that was not valid or their position to relate to the customer. They spent more time trying to find an engine with little effort to properly diagnose my vehicle.

I'm a disabled retired Veteran in Colorado Springs, and we appreciate the BBB's assistance in resolving an issue we had with a local home contractor. The issue was the contractor refused to provide the warranty they originally promised. The BBB was fast, efficient, and was able to work with the contractor to obtain the written warranty. Especially appreciate Alexis and all her assistance and responsiveness.

The BBB system is woefilly flawed. Email verification isn't setup to check if it is a true person on the other end and unfortunately it hurts small businesses. Consumers are easily swayed by malious and false items. We have reached out to the BBB on multiple occassions without response or assistance. This organization is a pay to play joke.

I had Rampart Roofing replace our roof due to hail damage this summer, 2015They were terrific. I would have them back in a minute! I dealt with Tom Hennessey who kept me informed, answered all my questions, was prompt in his replies to my questions when I was unsure of the work that would be performed, assured me that it would only cost the price of my insurance deductible (which was true) and was a genuinely nice person to deal with.When they couldn't show up for a week due to weather, he called and explained why, he gave us options for the color of the gutters to be painted, he gave me quotes on gutter guards if I wanted them to be installed, and even got back in touch with us when he was out of town at a convention for his industry.The work took a little longer than they anticipated, which was fine with us, but they called and explained why. Their clean-up was absolutely impeccable. That is the sign of true professionals, in my opinion.I noticed their signs in our neighborhood because others were using them so I asked one and she also said they were terrific to work with - that is why we got a quote from them.I got quotes from five roofers. Their quote was competitive and then Tom told me the total costs and explained every detail. I am very happy with the work provided. There was no pressure to pay up front but I paid them right after the work was completed since everything was done as agreed.Description of work:Rampart replaced our roof and our gutters due to hail damage from this past summer. Screens on our windows were also replaced.

Preferred Homecare is the most profits over customers health that I have ever encountered after being an RN for 34 years . It took the various sections located in Mesa AZ. Lakewood CO and Colorado Springs to process the orders. . What a fragmented system they have to process doctor orders. This company supplies things like Oxygen, enteral feeding supplies. CPAP machines and various items like wheel chairs etc. these are the items that provide life sustaining equipment . These items allow for a better quality of life and a decrease in acute illness and trips to a health care providers thereby being good stewards of our healthcare dollars by getting the necessary equipment to the customer.It took 31 days from the diagnosis until I received a portable form of supplemental Oxygen. This is an excessive wait time. When I called, typically 2-3 times a week. I would be asked some of the most unnecessary and at times completely inappropriate questions. The question were “ what pharmacy do you use for your Current oxygen? The doctor just put 99 as an end date which isn’t correct ( the medicare certificate of medical necessity clearly states to place 99 if the date will be life long). I was asked to have the doctor specify the code for the equipment the company would dispense. The section Aon this form was to be completed by the company who is dispensing the equipment. I had to go to Medicare.gov to locate and print the required form by Medicare because the Medicare stand in person could not find it within their computer company. I just used the internet. This company needs to streamline the order and delivery process. People who require medical equipment should not have to wait for the delivery. They need to be proactive in calling the healthcare providers if they have questions about the completion of documentation. I would never re commend this company to anyone.

On Tuesday, 08/13/2019, I, along with several other local business owners attended the BBB-Southern Colorado Breakfast with the B's event. In very simple terms, the meeting was awesome on several levels.First, the location, Hilton Garden Inn-CS Airport, was easy to access and the staff was very cordial to all that entered. Once inside, the area for the event was clearly marked and the food setup was great. A big thanks to the culinary staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. The actual BBB event started on time and the information provided was extremely beneficial to all that attended.Now the very best part, Jessica Rizzo, Retention Specialist and her Co-Worker, provided an awesome power point presentation that was enhanced by the way these ladies made their point. They did not read the presentation word for word, which is boring. They transitioned from screen to screen as a team without missing a point. Essentially, they used the slides as a guide, which demonstrates their breath of knowledge on the topic.I will finish by stating, every time I contact our local BBB office I get an immediate response or a call back if details need to be confirmed. More than 90-percent of my contacts are handled by Jessica. With that I will simply stop and state, Jessica, thank you so much!

His attitude is horrible. Stay away all the other companies are busy and he could do it the next day, I wonder why? He makes up stories to serve his needs. If you want a reputable company go to someone else with a good rating. It's a shame he seems like a good guy. I'm glad I did not go with him his son takes his side , a poor way to build a company!!!! He also said he's been in business a long time and yet his ratings only go back a few years, how come. Read the rest and than read his!

I recently used the Paint Doctor to paint the exterior of my house and also the inside of my garage. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from both Melissa and Anthony. Melissa was very helpful in the proposal and was very professional and personable. Anthony and his father did a fabulous job with painting and never left until I was satisfied with the results!

Was supposed to have new service Jan 4. Was supposed to have service the 11th. No service no contact from CenturyLink that there was an issue on their end. Kept getting transferred from one department to another no results. Told twice I was in wrong district and transferred to someone who could not help. Worst experience ever!

The better business bureau has ceased to be a viable partner for either the customer or the business. We have worked with our customers and the Better Business Bureau over the past eight years to the mutual benefit of all those involved. Seems to be the whole point of the bbb after all.The BBB of southern colorado has a new "dispute resolution specialist" named Aja'Dae Trent, who has taken it upon herself to escalate a customer who simply had a legal question into a full blown complaint. Unfortunately the bad advice and action by ms Trent will result in legal action against the consumer. This is not the outcome we would have expected, or desired, but the BBB should not give out legal advice. I believe the BBB has opened themselves up to action by the consumer, as we have no choice but to pursue this matter legally ourselves.I am afraid that as an owner of a company with about 100 employees, I can no longer recommend the BBB to any new or existing companies in southern colorado. I think that this is sad.

I had trouble getting money back from a roofing company. I was ignored for 5 months until I called the BBB. The roofer was calling me the next day ready to finally give me my money back. Worked better than I thought it would, easy to do, friendly staff, and cheaper than a lawyer.

Apple Moving Company moved nearly $2000.00 dollars worth of military pro gear, but "forgot" to write it down the household goods inventory! So, our family lost all reimbursement for pro gear. My husband tried to discuss the matter with the company and was basically told, "oh well." Aren't military movers just the best! Stay away from Apple Moving in colorado Springs. They are NOT professional enough to do the job correctly!!

I went to them to be an unbiased record of a dispute between a business and myself. After weeks of back and forth with the business, BBB took it upon themselves to take sides and close out my case and record between the business claiming addressed the problem and that I am not satisfied. The business did not address it and BBB took their side without asking me anything. I wasn’t expecting BBB to resolve my issue, I expected them to stay neutral. Like most of our world that was a lie. Don’t waste your time with this budget bloated unless organization

I have been a Verizon customer for aporx. 20 years. This year I upgraded phones and had a phone to return to Verizon for credit. At first I did not receive a return label for the phone and so I called to request one. I called over the next several months 4 times and received nothing. I was told that they would make a note so I would not be charged for the phone till we could resolve the issue. As I waited for the label once again I was charged for the phone. When I called I was told the reason I was charged was because I had not returned my phone. I explained why I had not returned the phone and was told again I would be sent a label and then I could get a refund. I waited another three weeks to no avail. I called again and finally a week later was sent and received a shipping label The phone was in the mail the next business day. I am hopeful to see my refund credit but am very disappointed in the customer service received and unhappy that their mistakes tied up my money while they corrected it. Overall this process took three months and numerous calls on my part all with reassurances that the issue would be resolved. Still waiting for my money. Hope it does not take as long as getting the label. NOT GOOD VERIZON!

Having moved due to military reasons, we still had a home that we rented in town. When work needed to be done getting the home ready to sell, using the BBB's website helped out in terms of being able to contact vendors for quotes and review vendors. This is a much better option that Angie's List or other groups that never even returned calls or even missed appointments. In previous years when we have had complaints we have worked them through the BBB and they have been fair and equitable. Unfortunately not all BBBs are the same. For those in the Front Range, be happy that you have a good one.

Finally, I have decided to follow up on my experiences with Lisa and her Blindscapes business. Less than two years ago, I ordered plantation shutters for our living area. It was a deal of several thousand dollars. She requires all the money up front. These shutters were made in Colorado Springs from a very reputable company. Lisa gave me a delivery date; then another date; then another date; then another date. I always had to contact her to give me the information - she NEVER called me with info. With the last date, she promised me a refund on a portion of the shutters as she was over confident that they would be installed. They were finally installed months later. Of course, she disappears when she has culpability. I called, called and called. No response. I went to her home. No response. Her constant excuse is that she has been ill and had surgery; she always tells me she is a Christian (perhaps in word but not in deed), which doesn't have anything to do with the situation. PLEASE don't do business with her.

Do not do business with this scam of a company. They will overcharge you, basically lie to you about almost every aspect of your move, and then they will be super rude to you when you contact them about it. I had to unload my own truckload because they only brought 1 guy. Isn't that what you pay movers for???? Every single thing that could've gone wrong with this company, DID. Also if you do negotiate a refund or compensation of some kind, they won't mail it for months. Best advice is to go elsewhere.

I want to commend Malia Alstrom of Colorado Custom Blinds,Shades and Shutters for her exemplary professionalism, excellent product andservice, her cooperation, expertise and kindness!Our home was damaged in the Waldo Canyon fires. There was much damage to our home includingthe loss of our windows.I placed the order for new window treatments shortly after Ihired the contractor to fix our home. Malia of Colorado Custom Blinds, Shades andShutters, came to my home, measured all the windows and offered decoratingsuggestio which turned out to be fabulous!Unfortunately, the general contractor turned out to beextremely incompetent and it took more than two years to have our windowsreplaced correctly.Malia held the ordered and completed window treatments at herfacility the entire time until I was able to finalize the correct installationof our windows. Malia and her company wereso kind and patient that it was an absolute pleasure and relief to deal withsuch an extraordinary organization. My windowtreatments are beautiful and certainly worth the wait!!!Once again, I want to thank Malia and her firm for all oftheir professionalism, service, kindness, patience and beautiful work!!!

It’s important to recognize that this organization is largely funded by business/industry thus not terribly interested in the consumers. My experience is one of delay, delay and lack of effort. Really feels like another worthless quasi government entity. Why bother. They should be embarrassed of the service they promote but do not come close to providing. They are not interested in the consumers only the businesses.

I've been homeless for 15+ yrs. I went to the housing authority here in colo Springs n I was told to apply online. Well by the time I do the application for housing I could've already left state n found housing elsewhere by having n out v state transfer for my Parole. My Parole Officer Mr Garrett Robinson has Informed me that to transfer to another state I would need a sponsor someone to help me stay every night n sleep n side their home/apt. The 1 st application was cancelled due to the fact the lady came across another man. This was Espanola NM. Ms Nicole Gallego. I've lost contact due to this other man. I've also been meaning to file a complaint against the Parole Board for not simply allowing me to leave on the Greyhound since I've got no license or vehicle. I'm also requiring n outside source to help me sedate women to perform vaginal penetration to the women due to my past injuries after my incarceration. I'm also having a hard time locating women that r qualified to look after me . Apply assistance by helping me with washing my clothes n helping me UNDRESS/dressed. I'm requiring intense supervision. The lady that I got in touch with refuses to help further v providing stable housing than having to sleep outside on the ground this CAUSING me to collect dirt. Not to mention that I've been restricted from SPRINS RESCUE MISSION. FOR GETTING CAUGHT WITH A BOWL V WEED LEFT. BY THE TIME U READERS CATCH THIS REVIEW IM NOT SURE HOW MUCH TIME WOULD'VE PASSED. ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT I LOST 15+ YRS WITH MS DENISE HARTMAN FOR NOT PROVIDING SENSATION AL PLEASURE TO HER VAGINA N NOT HAVING THE CHANCE TO KNOW N LEARN WHAT HER CLITORIS N VAGINA TASTES LIKE. IVE NO WAY V FILING N ADDITIONAL COMPLAINT AGAINST PENROSE HOSPITAL FOR NOT ADDRESSING MY PHYSICAL NEEDS N PROVIDE OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE SINCE ME N MY AUNT AREN'T ON BETTER TERMS. I can finally have the chance to physically confront these women n force them to submit to me physically caressing their body all nude. Sadly until my settlement from CDOC comes through. I'm forced to wait til my case v SSDI insurance n SSI come through since I'm eligible under my mother's insurance policy.

As a long-time member of the BBB, I'm questioning whether to remain. Their pricing for organizations is not transparent at all. When you receive the annual invoice from them, it doesn't state what the rate is based on. Apparently, I was paying much more than I should have for the past several years. It took an honest employee at the BBB to inform me what my rate should be and he corrected it for the upcoming year, but the people in charge were unwilling to credit me for even the past two years. When you have a problem with the BBB itself, who do you complain to? If I had to recommend joining the BBB to a fellow business, I wouldn't.

Huge disappoint. Contractor didn't completely redo patio roofing as directed by insurance company. Simply re-coated. Roof started leaking again the following day. Got ripped off by $1,515.03 and BBB did nothing about it. Why does the BBB even exist? I may have to take this higher up the food chain 😠
