Hired them to replace my roof after hail damage. Work was over a month late to start. When they started they sent the wrong shingles, I upgraded to class iv shingles and they sent regular ones. I am the one to notice the shingles were incorrect and I am still not sure if this was an honest mistake or not. We are now 2 months behind schedule. Roof goes up and they ask for payment before installing the gutters. I push back. Gutters go in and they ask for payment but they never sent the paperwork to my insurance. Months of them bugging me for payment while still not finalizing the paperwork with my insurance so I can collect the rest of the insurance money. I notice water leaking from behind the gutter. They send someone out and can't find a problem. I climb into the attic and see sever inches of snow. That's finally enough to convince them to fix it. I also find 3 other leaks around vents. They come out and add silicon around the vents. Gutter outside bedroom window is making a ton of noise when it gets windy. I again have to prove the problem to them, find a temporary fix and still they are refusing to fix it. We are now 8 months in and I still don't have a roof in the condition it was before the hail. I'm totally fed up with this company. I will have to fix the gutter myself.The number of times I had to go up on the roof, into the attic, video and picture problem areas, call, text, follow-up, meet people at the house, etc, etc to get this done still to a subpar level is outrageous.If management at BLU reads this, I will be happy to share with you all of my communication and prove to you how all of these numerous problems were made to be my problem. I can show you all of the time and effort I was made to put into this. How my kind and helpful nature was constantly taken advantage of by your employee until I finally couldn't take anymore.Edit: Woke up today to rain pouring through a smoke detector and all the smoke detectors going off. Massive leak from this mornings rain. BLU is refusing to honor their warranty due to this review. They also filed a false police report about harassment, again due to this review. It's criminal what they are doing and they should be ashamed.

Roof replaced on house, low slope porch and detached garage with class 4 impact resistant asphalt shingles, ice shield, roof ridge venting. About half of the roof decking was also replaced. Excellent quality work. Team was professional, friendly and good communication. Work completed in a day and a half with thorough clean up. JR Gonzales is a true professional. He worked with us diligently through emails to get familiar with our project. He asked all the right questions and was extremely knowledgeable about complex roofing issues in a mountainous area like Summit County. He did a thorough on-site inspection (traveling all the way from Colorado Springs to Silverthorne at no cost to us) and even did a patch/up fix on a hole we didn’t even know we had. His quote was timely and competitive. In the end we went with another good contractor who was marginally better, but we would highly recommend BLU Roofing to others considering a major roof replacement.

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!This JR guy is a real piece of work! Do not use these guys for any job. I called him out on his mistakes, he chose to yell and scream at me on the phone and continually talked over me. Never once did he even try to listen to me or my concerns. It all started by him disrespecting my wife (over the phone of course) then once I stepped in he elevated to a whole new level. Typical phone warrior weakling. This guy is the farthest thing from “professional”Steer clear of Blu roofing!!!

We chose BLU Roofing because of the positive ratings we viewed online. We had a leak in our master bathroom from what we believe was ice/snow melt after the weather warmed. We are in the middle of a remodel to that bathroom and had to have the leak repaired before we could install new cabinetry. My husband called BLU for an estimate, and they sent someone out the very next day. Adam did an incredibly thorough job of inspecting and photographing the damage that caused the leak, as well as some other damage that has occurred due to hail and wind. He emailed us the estimate that same day, and we contracted for the services to repair the initial issue, which was the leak. J.R., the owner, came out and performed the repair 3 business days later, only because there was another snowstorm the next two days following the inspection, making it impossible to perform the repairs on those days. We are very satisfied with the quality of their service, as well as the turnaround time for all of this. We will be using BLU Roofing for the remaining damage we must repair before the "rainy season" this year. I was dreading getting my roof repaired because I thought it would take forever and I would have to pay an inflated price. We had some wind damage from a storm a couple of weeks ago. A neighbor recommended JR. He was able to fit me into his schedule right away, gave me an estimate and did the repairs all in one day. We used BLU roofing and construction to both evaluate and certify our roof and have pop out siding installed to a window covering for our basement. Their team and project manager (JR Gonzales) were beyond helpful, courteous, and communicative. We had our project finished within days of calling them up, and have very high-quality finished products. We were always in the loop with progress as well, and prices were better than their competitors.My wife and I will for sure be using them again in the future for our roofing/exterior project needs. BLU Roofing helped us through not one, but two hail storms during the summer of 2018. J.R. with BLU Roofing managed all of the subcontractors to repair the damage including replacing the roof and gutters, painting the house, and replacing the garage door. He also managed all of the interactions with the insurance company including the requests and approvals for supplement payments for things not included in the original estimate. J.R. has also continued to make himself available for phone calls and questions that I have had since everything was completed earlier this year. If you find yourself dealing with hail damage, I would recommend giving BLU Roofing and Construction a call.

They were fast and very friendly. They didn't leave a mess and were very professional. I am recommending them to all my friends and family whenever they need any roof work done. If the hail comes back (please don't) I know who I am calling.Another big thing they did was handeled the discrepancies between the work that needed to be done and what insurance company said it was worth. The insurance adjuster missed a few things that Blu got them to cover in the repairs. It saved us a bunch of money.
