I wouldn’t hire them again. I used to rent this place and now I own it. They came in when we flooded and did the basement restoration. I have been the same occupant since before they did any work, and continue to be the occupant. Now that it’s been a few years since that restoration and I am now renovating as the owner, I have some comments and observations. They came out in subsequent years due to flooding. The first year, I asked how the sump looked and the guy instantly says back to me confidently that they checked it and it looked good. The following year’s flood mitigation in the basement was due to a failed/rusted sump. My landlord at the time hired them a second time. I can’t blame the carpet or the new sump on them, the old owner chose those. The plumber who is selling me our new sump is saying that there is no check valve on the one Buffalo Builders put in. I can say the tack work for the carpets was bad, as they poked our feet from the day they installed them. No transition between carpet and flooring downstairs. About 3 cubic feet of debris found shoved under the baseboards around the room. Walls uneven. Gaps under some walls as large as 2 inches at the bottom with others having no gaps (this is where the debris was hiding). Old carpet was still under the new carpet going down the stairs. Glue for the carpet pad in one section of the floor was as thick as 1/4 of an inch and had to be forcibly scraped off; it’s like they dropped a bucket of it on the floor and spread it out to use it instead of cleaning it up. 3 generations of carpet tacks on the stairs because they don’t remove the old ones. They also left a bunch of the old tackboards down that had water damage, and they turned out to grow mold in spots, which we were able to remove with the affected wood. There were paint splashes on the foundation from the walls that was not cleaned up either. I think that’s everything we’ve found so far. My basement got flooded and my insurance company recommended the restoration company with the “green logo”. They miss handled my contents, broke a few of them and didn’t finish in the amount of time allotted. Buffalo Builders took over after them and the job was done in two days, including all the new pipes, cleaning and drying of the carpet and put everything back. The team was very professional and respectful. Thank you BBI, a very satisfied customer.

My experience with Buffalo Builders has been nothing but professional. Russ is a local contractor who has assisted the community for decades in its needs of disaster restoration. I wouldn’t trust anyone from out of town to repair hail or flood damage after a big storm. Buffalo Builders has been around and will continue to be here, unlike so many of the carpet bagging, fly by night outfits that pop up when disaster strikes southern Colorado.I would have no hesitation to use this company on any of my three properties.

We were recommended this company from our insurance and if they are ever recommended to anyone else run the other way. We had a sudden plumbing issue in our home that flooded our kitchen and crawlspace. After the lengthy process from the insurance and mitigation companies we finally began construction. During the estimation process buffalo builders left out a whole wall that needed insulation and dry wall. When I brought it up to them it wasn't in their scope of work. So I called the insurance to correct their mistake. Moving forward the carpet installers show up and ask my mother in law who is watching my child what they need to do at my house. This time I call buffalo builders so they can show up and do their job in explaining what needs to be done with the carpet. Now the cabinets were next so they send out their "experienced" carpenter. He sets the cabinets and in doing so removed some angle stops (valves) for the kitchen sink. I get home that evening and notice the water was off to my house. So I turned it back on and 2 hours later the carpenter calls me saying my angle stops are leaking and he couldn't fix them. It is now 8pm and I have to fix my plumbing because of their employee. I was offered a plumber to come fix the situation but having a 1 year old and a pregnant wife I had to get the job done and am a licensed plumber. I then let buffalo builders know I only want a licensed plumber touching my plumbing from now on. After this we set a schedule to finish the job in two weeks. We have now been delayed again for unfortunate events and poor crafts man ship from buffalo builders. Yesterday their tile guys were suppose to be at my home between 9 and 10 am. That didn't happen as I had to make more phone calls and finally got someone out at 1pm. The tile guy couldn't proceed to work as buffalo builders left him a can of worms. With too much flex in the plywood for the counter tops. Unlevel surfaces, un square corners and cabinets not set to residential code. Hopefully this can be done soon but with so much back lash from buffalo builders it seems as I may have to get regional out to inspect their work. Still in the process of a never ending nightmare.

Buffalo Builders are truly wonderful company There complete staff are excellent. Charly the Projection Manager is on the ball when scheduling all the work that needed to be done in my water damage kitchen. The floor personnel to the Tile staff all were excellent professional employees. They all were kind and always had a wonderful attitude with a smile when asking them questions. They were thorough with all of the projects that needed to be repaired. You can't go wrong in choosing Buffalo Builders for your construction needs in the future. Thank you Charly and all of your staff for a job well done.

We woke up to inches of water in our basement after our sump pump failed due to a power outage. Insurance did not cover the work. Buffalo Builders showed up quickly, and the work began immediately. The first day they stayed until evening clearing out carpeting, gently boxing valuables, and removing drywall. We have a son with special needs and respiratory problems, so we were concerned about mold forming. They used an all natural spray to help keep it from growing, and we had fans and dehumidifiers going constantly. Drying out was a very long process, but they checked in regularly, measuring the damp and determining when they could continue with the work. They went out of the way find someone who could reproduce the drywall texturing to match the walls that remained in the space. We were included in the process every step of the way. I would recommend them for their communication and their professionalism during a very stressful time for our family.

Horrible experience. Will never use them again nor will I recommend these people to anyone. Major damage to my house happened in Oct 2015, work started in Feb of 2016 and I was promised completion of said work to be done about mid May 2016. Work was not completed until almost Nov 2016. Project manager quit in beginning of May and was not informed. New project manager would not/did not communicate with me unless I called and inquired. PM would not return calls or emails timely. Finally reached out the Owner/President. Empty promises from him as well. President stated he would call me back a few days after we spoke to give me a completion date. Never called. It took over a year to finish the house. Then found out that parts were not completed and a window was not properly installed which caused a frozen pipe. Requested receipts and reports from repairs so I could sell my house and they will not provide me the documentation. The only person in the place that I have found professional in any manner was Mary the office Manager.

I would highly recommend Mr Don Clark and his team when utilizing Buffalo Builders! They are very responsive to your needs and meticulous about assuring you as the customer are satisfied with the work completed. So when you call just ask for Mr Don and I am genuinely writing this because I mean every word. I was stressed out with work and Mr Don would call, leave voicemails, and text to keep me informed on the progress in the house. Every night I would touch base and let him know if there was something I didn't like and he was quick to adjust fire and I am very happy with the work completed after the flood in my house it looks like nothing happened! Mr Don Clark and his team are truly my heroes bc I was able to trust them to complete the job without having to nag or spend an exorbitant amount of time fixated on what is going on at home and as a full time active duty soldier I needed to be focused on work and without their team and hard work I would have not been able to give my soldiers my full attention without a naggy feeling in the back of my mind wondering how my house was faring. So thank you Mr. Clark for your teams work I appreciate you all more than you know and I appreciate the hard work you and your team complete to get people's homes back on track. My home is my safe haven away from the stressors of the outside world so thank you for giving me my safe haven back!

My insurance company recommended this company after a flood in my house. I had to have my floors re done and I chose to go with “fake wood” that snaps together. They installed most of the floor ok but some of the planks have HUGE gaps between each other and it looks off. I don’t know if they were lazy or just didn’t know what they were doing. When I brought this to their attention they said they would come together on their own? I had to call them back for other things they had missed and when they finally did finish they left a mess. Wouldn’t use them again

They don’t come out when they say they are going to. They don’t stick to a plan. And they over charge for shotty work. Their worker seriously came out with no shovel. I just spoke to the supervisor—Chase— the evening before who said he’d be sending out 3 guys with shovels to dig at 8:30 AM. And by 11 AM 1 worker showed up, again, no shovel. No digging ever happened. They cut into drywall basically patched a hole on the foundation and charged over 2k. Yeah. Don’t use them.

Recommend by Chub Insurance for hail damage to roof. Started work in November and it is still not finished and it is now July Project manager has been very uncommunicative and disorganized. It was obvious that he never read or understood the scope of the work. Don't use these people

DO NOT USE BUFFALO BUILDERS!!!!!!!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Miserable company and miserable work. I was referred to them through an insurance claim and they essentially took the money without fixing the problem. Roof still leaks and they won't return phone calls or emails.

If they are as professional at work as they are driving good luck now I also have 2 kids in my car when their driver flew up on my tail blaring horn flew around and the cuts me off in a way a had to slam on my brakes to keep the front of my car then at stop light guy trys to start a fight. I would never use a company that employs people that act this way

They did good work but for their lack of communication and keeping schedule I give them two stars. I had to constantly call them to find out what was going on, and I would keep my schedule available on days that they'd say they were coming and they didn't. Not only did they not come but I also never got a call to let me know that they weren't coming. This job started in feb and is still incomplete.

Rob and Shea were on top of my flood situation on Father’s Day no less..the showed up within 2 hour with fans and dehumidifiers took moisture reading in the walls.. did many follow ups through the week to make sure moisture levels were good before taking out the equipment,, I work in the industrial construction field and would hire this company in a heartbeat... would give them 100🌟if I could!!! Our home was damaged during a major hail storm in 2018 and Buffalo Builders did an excellent work of working with our insurance company to address a total re-roof, stucco damage repairs as well as window repairs. Hit by a major hail storm which broke out both skylights, damaged property, roof, vents, etc. around 10 PM. Crew was out around midnight to assess damage and seal up leaks. Very efficient and courteous. Arranged to return in morning to reassess amount of damage.
