Update 4/16/24 - Whoever responded to this post below was not who called me. The conversation was contentious and not solution focused & instead accusatory. It does turn out that a change in scope occurred and that the final invoice had a balance due. When I asked how the invoice was sent as my parents never received one (I searched through their email & computer) & did not receive a response. Hmm Lessons learned: 1. If you work with these folks, get an updated and signed quote for any change in scope of work. It would have saved a lot of hassle for everyone. 2. Don't get frustrated or give them a deadline if you don't get a response, it turns nasty. 3. If someone takes anything from your home to be measured/fixed, document and get names (we were accused of lying & still missing a screen). 4. The biggest lesson for us is to always go with a vendor/contractor recommended by your insurance. My parents loved this company from prior work & chose to not go with what was recommended by the insurance company. That will never happen again. P.S. I sent the check certified mail for the remaining balance & is targeted to be delivered 4/18. Thanks for the experience!Original Post: These people were contracted to do my parents’ roof, gutters, screens, deck. The came & did the roof and gutters but nothing else. They even took one of their screens & didn’t bring it back. It’s been MONTHS with my parents making multiple calls and no response. I have stepped in with no response from Alan H (who did the contract) & the Pueblo office told me the people I need to talk to were in the field. I called again later in the week then was told “they are gone for a week, can’t call, on a plane for the week”. Huh??

Can only give 1 star since they never called back to set an appointment. I spoke with them weeks ago and was told they would get back with me.Sorry, but if that is the follow up when trying to spend money, it is never any better if there are issues during or after a project.Hopefully, they will get back with you.

We had a hail storm damage our roof and gutters. I went with Cornerstone because they are a local family owned business that does what they say they're going to do. They did a great job!

I've had my shingles sitting on my roof for over a month, and I've contacted richard ray when the job will be done, and all I get are excuses/lies. They won't give me a hard deadline on when the work will even be done, and the lady in their office always makes excuses. I've had nothing but silence from this company. They lack communication and professionalism. DON'T MAKE MY SAME MISTAKE!!!!

Very happy with this company. Alan Huskin our project manager was on top of it from start to finish! The Roofing crew did a great job and cleaned up the site once finished. The Gutter Guys were my favorite. They offered advise and you could really tell they cared about the work that they were doing. Sent this email to owner with no response.We reached out to your company following your commercial on TV. We were hopeful based on your promise of integrity and encouraged to know there were companies still striving for that moral. Sadly, I was disappointed and surprised by the lack of customer service at your company. I called for an estimate on a residential new construction on May 24th and talked to Susan who said that I could drop off a set of plans or email them to her. The plans were emailed to her and assumed I would be hearing back. After not hearing back for almost 1 week, I called her on the 31st to make sure she received them. She informed me she had not checked her email and her computer was down at the moment. I did not receive another call so I called once again on 6/2 to request a status update and was told she was giving it to Colt and would be sure he gave me a call. We never received a call so we reached out on 6/7 and were informed Colt would be calling us that day. I finally got a call from Colt today, 6/9 letting me know he was going to begin working on it.I would assume that maybe I had too high of expectations for turn-around on receiving a call and scheduling an estimate except for the fact that I reached out to two other highly reputable roofing companies. They answered or returned my call the same day, were at the jobsite the next day, and had the estimate out at the end of the week. We value integrity also, and recognize (after being in the business for 40 years) that work can get busy and we cannot serve all clients who reach out. If that is the case, we always lead with honesty and give people a clear timeline or a clear "I am sorry, we cannot take on extra business at this time". We would absolutely encourage you to do the same. With many connections in the contracting industry in the Peyton/Falcon/Colorado Springs area, we don't feel comfortable recommending your company due to the disconnect in customer service.If there is any way in which we were in error, we would love your feedback. We just assumed it would be helpful (given your high value for integrity) to hear how your daily operations are being carried out.

Worked with Alan Huskin from Cornerstone Roofing..he came and inspected my wind damaged roof.He was very professional and is very knowledgeable of the whole processIncluding the insurance claim. He gave me a fair price...they finished my roof in one day! From removing the old to installing the new! My new roof looks great!! Would use them again..no doubt! My real estate agent head the owner of corner stone come out and take a look at my roof they were supposed to meet up with my insurance agent so that they can discuss my roof replacement. When my insurance agent showed up nobody from cornerstone was there I even called the guy personally and he said he would handle it but he never showed up never return calls and cannot be trusted. Inner city known as the home of heroes you would think that a veteran would be treated better. Cornerstone is a joke

Had hail and wind damage to our roof. Contracted with Cornerstone Roofing to replace our roof in Aug. 2021. Worked with Alan Huskin. He was awesome. He answered his phone every time I called. He answered all questions and went through the process with us. The crew was on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up when they were finished. No nails found in the yard. The roof is awesome. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Cornerstone roofing lacks EVERYTHING from basic communication skills to the very trait of integrity that they pride themselves on. This business has made the process of replacing our roof after the summer hail nothing but a headache. We started this process in August and have had no information relayed since then. We haven’t had any communication in regards to the roof actually being worked on, and then today workers in unmarked cars showed up unannounced and proceeded to rip off our roof. There was no courtesy call, no heads up, not even a call to try and schedule an actual date for the roof to be done. Cornerstone roofing is completely inconsiderate of their customers, their work schedules, and their everyday lives. If we had had the opportunity to properly schedule an appointment to have our roof done, the information could’ve been relayed that as someone who works nights, the roofers showing up in the middle of my work week, an hour after getting off shift is completely unacceptable. When the company was called, a message was left for the manager at 9 am to return our call, which in turn never happened. A follow up call had to be made after 1pm, which was greeted by an extremely callous man named Mike Huskin, who cursed at my husband and hung up while he was voicing his concerns about their poor business dealings. If at anyway possible, everyone should literally avoid utilizing this business at all costs, you’re probably better off utilizing a troupe of wild monkeys to replace your roof, since this business is nothing short of a piss poor circus.Service: Roof installation

What a terrible customer service experience. I ordered a new roof and gutter replacement. The salesman was helpful and timely. My contact, though, was by email and text messages. After I agreed to the terms, the salesman promised Cornerstone would start soon, but never gave me a date. In the heart of our extreme monsoon rainy season, I came home one day to the old shingles removed and to the Cornerstone workers hurrying to lay the undersheetng before the rains were about to start. When I went inside my house, I found four of my glass globes from my ceiling light fixtures broken. Can you imagine how much aggressive vibration the workers on the roof caused for the globes to fall on their own? They then left in the middle of a heavy rainfall on a Thursday, leaving the eave faceplates exposed to the rains. After watching my faceplates swell with rain saturation all weekend, I called the company office on Monday and asked to speak with a manager. I was told the owner was away and there was no one to talk to about my damages nor could I find out when they planned on installing the roof shingles. A few days later, I came home to find the workers installing the shingles without my knowledge. They did not address the swollen faceplates. I have yet to speak with a manager or the owner about my damages. It has been a month They have yet to replace the gutters as was agreed upon. I would never recommend this company. Their customer service is marginal at best. They were quick to collect when the roofers were finished. When I mentioned I wouldn’t pay the final bill until the building permit was signed off. The next words out of their mouth was property lien.The gutter installers some how pushed up the first course of shingles. That was about two months ago. I called again this week and was told they would call me back that day. Still have not heard back.They told me they were going to bill the insurance for the depreciation. Still haven’t received the bill or depreciation check.Just be prepared for poor customer service.

Worst experience ever! They showed up unscheduled (my wife had to call them to make sure the unmarked van was actually with their company), they subcontracted our job to another company that didn't even put flashing in the valleys and they failed inspections twice (second time was supposedly from their "best crew".. yeah.. right). The project took over 3 months before they passed. This company doesn't care about customers. They are why we have to deal with inspections, because if an inspector wouldn't have come out, they would have screwed us and been happy about it. Find a reputable company that is going to do the job, not just subcontract it out to some clowns that have no idea what they are doing.
