We cannot praise Excel Construction enough for the great job they did on repairing our hail damage. You should be glad you hired staff like Forrest Boutin and Jeremy Lauser. They were there through all phases from initial evaluation to final inspection. Their professional conduct, and response to any questions was wonderful. Forrest Boutin and Ryan Dennis were AMAZING! My roof had a lot of hail and wind damage. So I needed a new roof. I received a call from Excel and scheduled a meeting with Forrest. He was very knowledgeable and did a thorough review of my roof. He explained what needed done and dealt with my insurance company. Forrest was NOT your typical salesman. He wasn't pushy to sign anything that day. He gave me time to think about everything. I used his company to replace my roof. He kept me updated on when the supplies were to be arriving to when the crew was to show. The day of the replacement the crew showed up on time with his Foreman Ryan. They kept me updated throughout the day. I went with Storm Cloud tiles. They completed the job and a complete cleanup IN ONE DAY! I was so pleased with the end result! I give these guys and Excel 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If I have issues or need repairs I will definitely use this company again! It is not easy to trust someone to do roof work if you cannot be there to be sure that all goes as planned. Forrest Boutin is somebody you can trust. The roof he sold us and had installed exceeded expectations not only in performance but in follow through. Forrest has returned to inspect the roof each year since its installation. Jarrad Nitzel arrived at my door in early summer after the first major hailstorm, offering a free inspection. He was professional and courteous, informing me the roof was in good shape with pictures to prove it. After a late August hailstorm, I requested him to re-inspect. This time he showed signs of hail damage with pictures and recommended that I file a claim with insurance. I did. His inspection reports have never reached me nor my insurance adjuster. Despite numerous calls, emails, and texts over the course of 3 weeks, he has not responded. I’ve requested support from the regional director- no response.I am now going to another company.

Before I met Forrest and his team, I felt like I was dealing with the roofing project from hell! They came in and listened to all my concerns and if I dare say, gave me some free home repair therapy sessions! What started out as a roof and gutter insurance claim turned into a whole new house! We had major damage in June due to hail. On inspection, they did remediation for us without expectation of the job. (Tarped our skylight). They stayed on top of the job the entire way. Forrest Boutin at Excel Construction Group did the roof on my good friend's new cabin and garage and I really love how it turned out.They put a beautiful Certainteed Northgate shingle that was the most beautiful green shingle I have ever seen on her house and garage.His Knowledge communication, professionalism, and passion was refreshing wonderful! It made what otherwise is a very stressful and tedious ordeal into something fun and that everyone was looking forward to throughout the process and love the final product when it was complete.I was surprised how clean the job site was after they had finished. I had an old wood shake roof and live in an area that was close to a major fire a few years back that easily could have taken out my house; I got lucky and the fire was stopped about a mile from me. I've tried for around 15 years to get it replaced through insurance with no avail since there are so many stipulations on shake roofs. I was to the point that I needed a roof, even if I had to pay out-of-pocket! So…one Saturday afternoon I ran into Delvin Ortiz as he was doing a neighborhood walk through and we began to talk, but no pressure the entire time and it soon turned into getting a quote. That’s when he pulled in Forrest Boutin, who ran the numbers and got me a quote and then got the process going! Both came to my house, and seemed to stay the whole day with the crews and got me a new roof. Everyone was great to work with and seemed to work well with each other! They were able to tear down the old shake roof, replace it with asphalt, and clean up. The only way you even knew they were there was because I had a new roof! I had a metal roof that was in pretty rough shape. Most quotes I attempted to get were either wayyyy too high or they tell me they didn't even want to do the job. I was so discouraged until I talked to Tara! She helped me find a solution for a new roof, saved me thousands, and got it done in a timely manner. I live down in Pueblo and the distance was no issue to get the job done. It looks so awesome now and there has been several snow/wind storms with no issues. Not only did Tara help with my roof but she also helped me with her connections. She found me an electrician to rewire my house for 7k less than all the other quotes that I got. She also set me up with a solar company that was again.. THOUSANDS cheaper than so many other quotes. All in all Tara helped me save a ridiculous amount of money. She was honest and real with all of our interactions. Tara went above and beyond to help with my roof and even more. I highly recommend this company to save money and get quality work done! One of the gentlemen from Excel helped us through our first experience of a hail damage roof repair. We have never owned a home before this one, so it was nice to have someone who was so informative, taking it step by step and answering all the questions we possibly had, while also ensuring we knew of things we had not asked about. He was able to give us more information than even the insurance company would give. I felt like I was learning the trade in a sense. It did not seem like I was being taken advantage of like most companies.He was able to help us get the most of our money and really understand what was important to fix asap vs. what was not as important and could be put off to fit our financial needs. As 2020 has been rough for us all, it was nice to be able to shave quite a bit off the huge deductible we had, while still knowing the exact coverage of the items we were not repairing. He has even offered to go a bit further beyond to patch up a little work the original builders messed up that he really didn't have to do, but I appreciate the effort in making sure we are absolutely happy with the outcome of Excel's work.The gentlemen who actually worked on the roof were also very professional. Ensuring to clean up everything after they had finished. There were a few staying out late in the dark to find all the little bits that had fallen in our yard of leaves. Excel replaced our roof and gutters this year after a bad hailstorm. They were extremely fast and proficient with their work. Completed the roof rip/replace in one day!
