I can’t express enough how thankful I was for everything that Steve and his team did for my elderly parents when they had a sewer line back up in their basement. Immediately, Steve went above and beyond to help them with every aspect of the damage including offering to help them start the insurance process. He was kind, honest, and trustworthy. Sewage backup in the basement-Tony and Lindsey came out that evening to run some tests and explained what the tests would indicate and what the options where for restoring the basement to an acceptable living conditions. Very informative and explained everything in terms that where understandable and gave us their professional opinion of the situation. Mitchell and Steve followed as the clean up crew and surveyed the damage and went in depth on the corrective measures that would be required. They got the basement empty of everything damaged while giving us the opportunity to salvage items that had sentimental value with instructions on how to clean the items properly. The entire team worked fluidly to restore the basement in a professional manner that protected my family from possible health concerns . All reports and a detail explanation followed each segment of the cleanup and where patient with answering any questions or concerns we had. This took place a week before New Year's and we appreciate the respect they had for our personnel welfare as well as our home.

They were the first company to respond! We had a cracked pipe that had water run under the floor all the way to the other end of the basement. Matt and his team came in tented, removed the mold and damaged sheet rock, then found more twice! They got everything removed and cleaned up, tester said he’d never seen anything that clean. I was unaware of a leak in our basement until water soaked the carpet and walls. After testing confirmed the presence of mold, Flood Damage Restoration arrived to do the mitigation. They explained their procedures, contained the damaged area to protect the rest of the house, removed the damaged walls and carpet, and treated everything. They respected my wish to preserve certain architectural features I did not want to be removed and took extra care not to damage them. The workers were very professional and kind. On a Holiday weekend after Christmas, they were the first company to both answer their phone and respond within an hour. Steve and his team were some of the most knowledgeable people we have ever met in this realm. They were able to promptly get started with removing the water that had leaked upstairs and down through our kitchen ceiling. Had a toilet overflow in an upstairs bathroom ,water went through a vent and into a downstairs bedroom.Such a mess!! These guys showed up faster than I anticipated and worked until almost 9 pm getting things clean and clear.Over the next 2 weeks Mitchell and Marvin showed up and continued to monitor wet areas and every time they left , they cleaned up everything!! So we had a top floor sink not shut off properly. Over the ensuing 6 hours, the sink clogged and backed up and the bathroom flooded and went through to the two levels below. We called FDR and they were amazing. The technician we were assigned was Mitchel. He was really knowledgable, very professional, communicated with us every step of the way, and just was really great to work with. They were able to save a large section of hardwood floor that got flooded and minimize the overall damage to a great extent. While it’s never fun to have the heaters and blowers going 24/7, it was a necessary evil and we were kept informed the whole way about what to expect and how the progress was going. I had never worked with this company before, but chose them based on having all 5-star reviews. In a stressful moment they were terrific. Positives: my basement was dried out after a flood, everyone we worked with was pretty nice and understood how stressful the situation was.Negatives: Response time was a bit longer than I expected, follow up visits were rarely scheduled- just drop ins/5 min call ahead and we work so that was difficult, I am always wary of companies with reviews by people with the same last name as the owner/employees and that request a 5-star review, and finally, the restoration company recommended by this company that quoted replacing my floors was ASTRONOMICALLY high.Overall, I am satisfied at an average level, hence the 3-stars.
