Just completed another project with HomeFix and I'm very happy with the results! They did such an amazing job on replacing the roof and gutters as well as repainting (some interior) the exterior of my house (see attached before and after photos of the house).This project wouldn't have been a success if not for Leroy and his team. Leroy was very professional and went above and beyond to accommodate my esthetic preferences for the house exterior. He also made sure that everything was done properly.

A very friendly Malachi came to my home to assess the problem. Aaron and his helper were both very knowledgeable and did the actual repairs to my front porch. It was a relatively small job but they handled it with confidence and attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to call HOMEfix again for any job, big or small.

Our experience with HOMEfix was simply outstanding. We hired them to finish our almost 900 sq foot basement and we thought it would be a standard Aspen View basement design. Benjamin was our estimator and he made several fantastic custom design suggestions that we just loved. When we decided to move ahead, a team came out to discuss the project with us in-depth and assigned us a Project Champion & Craftsman (shout out to Kevin!) who worked tirelessly every day, would give us daily briefings on what was accomplished that day, the work plans for the next day and which workers will be at our home. He is a true professional of his trade. All the workers treated our home with respect which we appreciated.As to be expected with a big project, there will be some hiccups but the owner and his team handled each one with a sense of urgency, professionalism and courtesy and we were always satisfied with the resolution.A big thank you to Kevin, Benjamin, Justin, Bobby, and Sabrina for all their hard work making our basement so beautiful and a space we'll enjoy for many years. Installed an additional outlet, which doubled my outlets in the gang, and added weather protection. I requested another outlet under the soffit at the end of the house (for heat cables). I was given a very quick appointment and a solution was created with an internal switch to control that new outlet that is 15 feet up so I wouldn't have to get a ladder out every time I needed to unplug the heat cables. Outstanding work! Clean, quick, and convenient. Very reasonable on the cost considering the second installation request.

We reached out to Homefix for a pretty significant kitchen remodel. After our initial engagement with a few contractors, we knew pretty quickly that we wanted to go with Homefix. They have a very professional, streamlined process from start to finish. They were able to give us a pretty accurate project timeline, and more importantly, they were able to stick to that timeline. The overall quality of their work is top notch. The herringbone tile work that they did is especially gorgeous.All of their employees were extremely professional, and we always felt comfortable having them in our home. We had two little guys running around during the entire remodel, and not only were they accommodating, but they also went out of their way to directly engage with them on several occasions.They also have a fantastic material's and design gal managing the backend (Thanks, Sabrina!). In a time of global supply chain disruption and worker shortages - it’s amazing how hard Griff and the HomeFix team work to keep my project on time and budget. When my fireplace rock was unexpectedly given away by the vendor - they brought me 4 similar (in stock) samples that same day to select and keep the project moving. My master shower required fairly complex tile design to look right - and Greg and Ian took the time to ensure I was comfortable with their approach, laying it out on the floor so I could see and approve (and be excited!). When my chosen faucet was suddenly back ordered just as we started demo, Sabrina researched high and low to find me a very similar model that could get here in time for plumbing. Nick did a great job fixing floor tiles in our master bath that were lifting. He was able to remove the tiles without breaking, let the area dry, replace tiles, and grout. He did this over several days so everything had a chance to set. He always showed up when he said he would and called if there was any change. Some of the best service we have ever had from a handyman.

Updated for 2023: I hired HOMEfix again to finish remodeling my upstairs living space and I have a brand new kitchen, living room, and entryway now. Like last time, I'm supremely pleased with the results. Benjamin did fantastic work as an estimator and, with Sabrina, designed exactly what I was looking for. Kevin did the heavy lifting once again and built my dream kitchen and living area. I truly can't recommend HOMEfix any more highly and would be absolutely pleased to hire them again in the future.Original review, 2022: I hired HOMEfix for a fairly significant remodel of part of a 1970s home (two bedrooms, a new bathroom, an expanded existing bathroom, and a new laundry room) and they exceeded my expectations in every regard. Griff did a fantastic job of understanding exactly what I was looking for and drawing up some plans. Sabrina was super helpful in picking materials and coordinating a great look for my house, even successfully navigating supply chain issues. My glass hinged shower door exploded. I called and Cory Grassie arrived on time for the day we scheduled. I mentioned the word “warranty“ when he identified the manufacture of the glass. He immediately contacted the manufacture and kept in contact with them until they agreed to warrantee the glass. That saved me over $800! I am so thankful for someone who takes the time to go above and beyond like Cory did.

We used Homefix for kitchen flooring job. They demoed the existing floor and laid down tile throughout. Their estimates may be a little on the higher end but theit longer warranty is what sold us. Something we didn't know, but for some job duties they contract companies to do the work. For the tile we had put down, they contracted a different company, outside their company, to do the job. Not that that is a problem, but when a truck with a different company name on it shows up at your house, don't be alarmed. They all did an amazing job, no damages, no hidden fees, very transparent about the job, and overall we're very happy with everything.

I've hired heaps of contractors throughout years of homeownership and real estate investment properties. I feel great saying that HomeFix is the only company you need to hire anymore for just about any handyman job or remodel work you need done. Let's break down why:- Scheduling an estimate is easy as heck. The website works great and there's a form you can fill out to list everything you need and request a contact. I heard back the same or next day and spoke to a lovely woman in the office who confirmed the work I needed done and scheduled the estimate.10/10 scheduling process. Let's move on.- Chris came out to take a look at what we wanted done before they could give me my estimate. He was Punctual, Professional, and Pleasant, and honestly what more can you ask for than good ole' PPP?? He even de-winterized my attic fan (okay it's just taking off a tarp but still) while he was up there looking around and checked it off the list. What a guy. He became my point of contact throughout the job and was great all the way through.10/10 estimate experience, let's keep going- We put down our deposit, got on the schedule, and the work began. It was two guys doing the majority of the work and they were awesome. PPP as well, very friendly, efficient, tried to keep us in the loop as to what was going on and did quality work.Smack dab in the middle of the job, the COVID lockdowns started and they weren't able to continue as scheduled. Chris was communicative throughout each development keeping me updated and even managed to get our exterior work done during the quarantine. Then, when they were able, they got in right away and finished the job.11/10 everybody is great now lets talk about the work itself- We had a number of small handyman jobs done, which was all done perfectly so its hardly worth mentioning - where they really shined was the biggest jobs. We had two creaky, failing, interior staircases completely replaced and you'd think they had twice as many guys working on it for how efficient and good of a job they did. Once the carpet pad was laid down those stairs don't make a damn sound even if you jumped up and down on them.Speaking of carpet, they tempered my expectations as far as getting a perfect match on our carpet for the stairs and our paint for some drywall work. Totally reasonable, right? Well, they went ahead and got a perfect match anyways. What a guy(s).I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Everyone that they sent into my house was just awesome to work with. My point is, you can trust HomeFix for any job, big or small, in your home. Could you find someone to do the work cheaper? Maybe a little bit, but I'll gladly spend that little bit more to have work done right any day, and you should too. If you've read all this and aren't convinced, look at their guarantee policy and you'll see there's really no reason to wait - hire them! I plan to again very soon.

I worked with Homefix on replacing our back door. We had to special order the door. Cory was proactive in getting us a replacement when the first door came in damaged. Cory was responsive and engaged in the project and worked with us to find the right time to complete the install. Homefix followed up several times to ensure we were happy with the purchase and install. We will be keeping them in mind for any future home improvements and repairs.

Took a while to complete during these difficult times and the fact that so much hail damage around the city and county. Overall I am very pleased with the workman ship and clean up. Only issue that surfaced was the Gutter crew became rude to the neighbors and crossing their yard and it was quickly solved with a phone call to Griff.

We recently decided to have our entire first floor painted and new flooring installed in three rooms (two carpet and one hardwood). For the first time in our 35 years of owning homes we chose to do the project while gone for two weeks on vacation. In the past, not trusting that our home would be safe or that the project wouldn’t be managed to our expectations, kept us from leaving while work was being done . Also, we had a number of detailed requests regarding how the project was to be managed including oversight of flooring subs, setting security systems and locking the home, what picture and mirror hangers had to stay and what had to be removed, what furniture had to be moved and replaced, what curtains were to be taken down and rehung, rolling up rugs and storing them or replacing them on completion and differing paint colors in a variety of rooms.Our decisions to use Homefix on this project was made easier by the fact that they had done two other remodel projects in our home that we were totally pleased with how they turned out. We also had met a number of their workers and found them all hard working, capable, courteous and professional in all their interactions. I particularly liked the approach of having a project champion who was accountable for the security of the home, meeting the scheduled timelines, and assuring the project meet the specifications and level of excellence we required.We worked closely with Leroy, the supervisor of the painting team, from the beginning to communicate all of our requirements on the project. We also enjoyed working with Sabrina, who had assisted us on the design and material selection on other projects, to assist us in deciding the paint colors and flooring selection. We were told that the individual assigned most of the painting on this project was someone we knew to be a total professional and very detailed oriented.We came home to a brand new looking first floor with flawless execution and only a couple of small punch list items which were easily completed the next day. We even got help from one of the workers to carry heavier items back upstairs which saved us a great deal of work.We now have a great excuse to take a vacation…. I hired Homefix to renovate two bathrooms. They submitted the lowest bid, half that of one other contractor, and I was a bit leery, but I had met and liked Gino and Griff, so I signed the contract. I could not be happier. Every workman who worked on the project (and there were a bunch of them) was on time (or called to say they'd be late), professional, polite, diligent, and cleaned up after him or herself. They did an excellent job communicating with me throughout. They finished on schedule and for the agreed upon budget. Their quality control process was thorough and impressive. If you have a home project, your first call should be to Homefix.

*Summary: call a handyman yourself unless you want Homefix to charge you a lot of $ in overhead*I spent nearly $500 on a job that took 20 minutes with a $20 part. I disputed that amount, and asked for details about the final price. I then got a call from my Homefix rep who called to tell me I was wrong, and gave me an NFL analogy about how you have to pay multiple people for one job. The moral I took away from that story is to cut out the middle guy next time. Got it - lesson learned.UPDATE: the repaired part went right back to broke on the first use. It seems I paid a high price for not great work. I have followed up with the company by requesting an itemized bill and a solution for the failed repair - awaiting their response.FINAL UPDATE: Got the itemized bill. Nearly $300 of overhead on a $480 job? I should have done more homework before hiring this company. The itemized bill was clearly rounded up to meet the full estimate amount from my original quote. By their logic, if they had actually done everything on the estimate I'd be paying much more than the estimate called for. This means that when they give you a quote it's a bare minimum of what you're going to pay, even if the work done is far less than estimated. They are certainly willing to charge more than the estimate, though. Not a fair deal to the customer.Their window guy came out and fixed it again (for free - so that's good) but made comments about how I need to be gentle with it, as if it was my fault.This was a waste of time and a huge source of stress for us during the moving process. I would not recommend Homefix to anyone.
