Had an excellent experience with Homestead Roofing. They are diligent in their work, intentional in their communication, and dedicated to excellent customer service. Every step of our roof repair I was delighted by their wonderful service.I tried getting quotes from different roofers before deciding which company to use. Many roofers were resistant to providing a quote without first seeing what our insurance quoted. I wanted to gauge what an experienced roofer noticed needed work before comparing it to the insurance quote. Homestead stood out in that they never requested to see our insurance quote before getting on our roof and writing up their own estimate. This diligence began the foundation of trust that I had in them to be honest and provide their experienced opinion to compare against our insurance's word.Throughout the process of our roof repair Homestead proved to be a reliable communicator, frequently providing timeline updates over email. During our repair more damage was discovered after removing shingles and they were on site to discuss each change in the necessary work. I also appreciated that, though I was new to learning the information in regards to the roof's work, they were kind to explain and elaborate for me without being at all patronizing over my lack of knowledge. In addition to all of that, they also took care to take narrated video and photos for us to see the level of damage and have all the evidence for our insurance to adjust our claim accordingly.Overall a stressful process dealing with our insurance company over this repair was made so much easier due to Homestead Roofing's communication, patience, and diligence to ensure we as a customer were well taken care of. Their honesty and dedication to customer service is not easily found among contractors these days and so it has been delightful working with them and I hope to recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services.

Tracy and his team at Homestead Roofing are incredible! We sold our family home this fall and our buyer had questions regarding the condition of the roof. Tracy not only was quick to respond to my outreach, he visited our home, took photos, and a video of all areas in question on the roof (all were in great shape) that his team installed 7 years ago - prior to us purchasing the home. After 20 years my hail damaged roof was due for a replacement. Prior to filing the insurance claim I wanted to gather some input from a reputable roofing company. My insurance agent recommended Homestead Roofing. I figure when an insurance agent recommends a roofing company they must be reputable. And they did not disappoint. Their representative (Jeff) came out as soon as our schedules allowed, looked over the roof, took measurements and we talked options. We get some pretty good hail storms, so I wanted to see about impact resistant roofing. Turned out that material was actually a little less expensive than what I had on my roof to start with. Throughout the process they kept in touch (we had to wait for winter to end), worked with the insurance adjuster, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up afterwards and did a great job on the new roof. The county building inspector came by for the final today and he was visibly impressed. See for yourself.

After finding a leak in the garage, we called 5 or 6 different companies. Homestead Roofing was there the next day. And Tracy Bookman gave me clear information that wasn’t technical jargon. The crew that come out for the repairs were very professional, very knowledgeable, and they showed up on time. Cleaned up very well! No issues whatsoever. I'll preface this by saying I actually got quoted/inspected by three companies first before getting any work done. Tracy himself came out to inspect our roof, checked *everything* over prior to confirming/denying my suspicions, and found additional rot that I had missed that his installation of bathroom vents through the attic to the roof fixed, in addition to the initial problem of condensation in my attic that was causing mold(and aforementioned rot) that I had asked for an inspection for in the first place. Tracy was detailed in explaining what he found while inspecting our roof, and even pointed out the slightly damaged missing bits to some shingles that I had already noticed myself, which aren't damaged enough to actually require repairs or replacement, but are something to look at in the future. When I asked for advice on my drainage issues that had leaked in the past, he straight up told me I could get an L bend extension instead of tying something directly to the roof further so I don't have to screw it into the roof and risk damage. Good man.As contrast, the other roofers I attempted to get quotes from sent out salesmen that didn't fully inspect the roof, and gave vague "Yeah that looks bad" answers when I questioned them. They attempted to quote me for roof replacements and ridge vents. Whilst I'll definitely require a new roof within the next 5-10 years based upon the current wear, I most certainly didn't have the damage that I'd need to have the thing replaced right away with high pressure sales tactics...The two men(Juan and Juan) that he sent to perform the installation were professional and careful, and did an excellent job, as I've looked over their work inside and out and our condensation issues are fully fixed, and the work they performed has not had any leaks after the recent storms we've had in the two weeks since they finished. I delayed writing my review just to make certain I didn't run into any issues with the workmanship, and I definitely did not. It's great work.The price he charged us was less than I had expected for something that took his men half a day to do as well.Should Tracy still be in the business in those next five to ten years when I'll be replacing my roof, I'm not even going to consider looking at anyone else.Services: Roof inspection, Attic venting, Attic venting installation

Tracy and Shawn were very helpful. After damage was done, Tracy did a thorough inspection and made repairs so I didn't have to worry about inclement weather doing more damage. Once insurance claims came through, they promptly scheduled the work, had a crew come out to replace the roof. I had approximately 20 shingles whIch blew off after a major wind storm. Since so many houses in the area were damaged. I was surprised to receive a call back the same day. The inspection was timely and professional. Tracy was very easy to work with and he didn't try to over sell. An area of the roof had sustained water damage over the years and this repair was included in the job for a very reasonable cost. The work was done in an efficient non intrusive timely manner. The crew showed up on time and were very pleasant. Roof looks great! One sign (to me at least) is how well the crew works together. This crew worked well together and were whistling and seemed liked they really enjoyed doing the work. To me, that means they do a good job and are happy with how they are treated by the company. One thing that they caught and fixed was, the previous roofer shingled over a roof vent hole. They found it, fixed it and installed the vent like it should be. Wonderful experience! Found owner Tracy Bookman on you tube where he provides videos for people with roof problems. He was knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. What do I know about roofs? Single woman -- I had to rely on Tracy and his team (7 or 8 man team that has been together as a crew for nine years). Tracy coordinated everything and dealt with permitting. Tracy and crew did an amazing job with our roof after the two hailstorms last summer. Homestead roofing also coordinated gutter and window replacement which was very convenient and took much of the stress out of the whole process.And then the bomb cyclone hit. We weren't too concerned but had Tracy check anyway and everything was fine, just as expected. The most amazing customer service ever!! These guys are GREAT and I will never use another roofing company. Not only did they replace my roof, the owner Tracy went above and beyond in a dispute to Lowes over their incompetence installing my swamp cooler that leaked 1 yr after being installed and tried blaming it on Homestead!Well, they are #1 in my book. I have nothing but great things to say about Homestead roofing. When selling my house I was asked to have a roof replaced a week before closing. Steve worked with my insurance company and was able to meet the adjuster at my house with only 20 minutes notice. On top of being great to work with, he was able to replace my roof before my closing date (in spite of less than ideal weather conditions) and did a great job! Homestead stands behind their work. They had re-roofed our house 4 + years ago. Had a condensation issue with a portion our roof that is shaded in the winter. After alerting Homestead, Kraemer came out and discovered a rotten piece of sheathing. As the repair was beyond his scope of authority he contacted the owner. Tracy (Owner) actually came out to our house and set down with us and accepted responsibility to make it right and even had a separate company on standby to make the necessary interior repair to the ceiling at their expense.
