Jim Black Construction was absolutely amazing! Our dishwasher leaked, which required an insurance claim to replace the floors in the majority of our upstairs. Jason and Chris were wonderful to work with. They made the process so smooth and seamless. We didn’t have to lift a finger! The entire staff was personable and so enjoyable to have in our home. Sam was amazing at carpentry. Yamilk and his team handled our furniture so well and were so kind. The floor team was great. I already have them giving me quotes for more projects!

Great experience with Jim Black following a flood and heartbreak. We used another company for Mitigation before we knew they also do that. Things were not handled properly from that first company, but we immediately felt better once Jim Black took charge. Jesse and Miguel were amazing in making the process smooth, and I was communicated with and informed through the entirety of the ordeal. No one wants to have a flood or asbestos or lose items, but if you do, these are the people you want in your corner. You’d never know now and the results are wonderful! Carpet was even matched and the bathroom looks better than before. We are really glad we found you guys!!! Thank you so much 😊

We had a dishwasher leak that damaged part of our hardwood floor in the kitchen, as well as the ceiling below in the family room. Our insurance company recommended Jim Black Co.. They repaired the hardwood floor, refinished the entire floor to ensure an "even" finish, and repaired the drywall damage in the family room with outstanding results. Mike, the overall manager, and Chris, the project manager, were knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. They accomplished the work on OUR schedule. When my toilet overflowed for probably hours (I wasn’t home!) and there were gallons and gallons of water on the floor I called my insurance who recommended Jim Black Construction. Luke came over and met with me to assess the damage and get all of the paperwork started. Later that morning Pierce and Antonio came over and started the work of mitigating the damage. The whole team was personable and professional. They communicated each step of the way with me and gave me clear expectations and timelines. Now that the water is dried up I’m going to call the insurance back and request Jim Black Construction for the reconstruction as well.

After water damage to the interior of our home, USAA assigned Jim Black Construction to do mitigation and restoration. Boy were we lucky! Our project manager, Chadwick, stuck with our job every step of the way making sure work was done in a timely and expert manner. The work included carpeting install, dry wall, wallpapering, tile work, etc. and I am very happy with it all. Unfortunately the work had to occur during the time my husband was home on Hospice. He appreciated the kindness and consideration of all of Jim Black's workers. I recommend this company highly!

Our home suffered severe damage in the '21 windstorm here in CO Spgs. We called our insurers (USAA) and they recommended Jim Black Comoany as one they had done business with I'm the past and were pleased with the results they had heard from other claims.Michael Kinlow came out immediately at our call and talked knowingly about all the different repairs that would have to be made. From our viewpoint, the damage was overwhelming, but from that very first visit, Mike showed a "can do" spirit. We signed a contract for all the many repairs with Jim Black Company, and have never regretted it.Mike became the project supervisor, and Chris Geddens became the pn-sight supervisor. Both of them took the job on to restore our home to its original condition. On several occasions I heard a subcontractor suggesting a quicker, cheaper way to repair...both Mike and Chris always told them "No, we want this done right!"Mike visited the site often to check on the progress...Chris was here every day. They were encouraging, patient to have something explained, and any requests we made. They handled all of the insurance claims, getting the right subcontractors, finding the best new materials...we just had to stand back and watch. They kept the work area as clean and organized as possible and were respectful of the rest of our property.I think the best recommendation I can give Jim Black Company is just to say we would most definitely hire them again fir any work we need to have done.

Hired JBC to come and drain water from my crawl space after the big rains we had. Pearce and Antonio were sent out promptly to help remove all standing water and circulate air to prevent mold.
