I am a very nervous first time home-owner that bought a home with a low-sloped roof that turned out to be over 30-years old (tar and gravel). We hired Jewett Roofing to do a green roof installation on our townhome patio which was custom project that involved patching of the roof and installing the green roof on top. They were great in working through a lot of details like engineering and permitting and problem-solving some technical challenges with the installation. There was initially a leak due to the old roof material not bonding correctly, but their crew quickly made it up to Denver to repair it and made sure we were happy so we appreciated how they stood by their work. I will never even consider this company after the rude, unsafe and unprofessional driving I witnessed this morning. I watched as a driver unsafely cut people off making lane changes. If your drivers have such an unsafe and careless attitude about others on the road, they will never receive my business, nor will I recommend to anyone, period. And yes I was one person you cut off WAY to close to my bumper and the person you came needlessly close to before you changed lanes. All that unsafe, rude and unprofessional driving and you got off your exit less than 30 seconds ahead of me. It'll be interesting to see if you even care enough to respond or reply.

While I have never personally hired Jewett Roofing, my work as a Roofing Consultant has had me looking at projects they have done over the years.As a consultant, there are 3 standards I look for in roofing companies.Integrity in Sales:Does a company accurately represent what the roof process will look like, explain what products and add-ons can be done to improve the roof and not pressure them for over-priced items.Jewett has more than demonstrated this over the years, and I have personally watched as they supported the use of higher quality products and manufacturers even where it would be harder to sell.Quality Roofing:I look at every commercial roof I inspect based on a 500-point assessment. This includes local codes and regulations, Manufacturer recommendations, industry standards and quality of the welding.Jewett has always had the highest quality within their commercial roofing crews, and on the singular occasion where the roof had some installation issues they did their absolute best to resolve the issues, far above expectations.Warranty Terms:Most warranties on roofs are not worth the paper and ink they are produced with. Companies will lie about what is covered, never file for warranties, or those warranties have all kinds of fun exceptions, that fall under a general "if you ask about your warranty you void it" style.Jewett Roofing works with high quality manufactures like Duro-Last and Versico, which not only offer high-quality warranties but actually protect the inhabitants.Overall, Jewett Roofing is one of the best contractors I have ever inspected, and I highly recommend them. I have known many members of their staff and feel a sense of relief when I hear a customer chose them, knowing that another high-quality roof is coming to Colorado.
