We had a massive water leak from frozen pipe after being away from home. We called rare restoration and they were out within a few hours. I primarily worked with Kenny and he did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend Kenny at this company as he treat your house as it was his own. I highly recommend rare restoration for their professionalism, kindness, timeliness, knowledge, and reliability. And also highly recommend working with Kenny as he will treat you right and get the job done well.

I had a pipe freeze/ break in mid January and the initial co my insurance company sent out did not perform the restoration part correctly. I hired Rare o do the reconstruction part but they also sent their restoration people to correct the things the other company had not done to insure no mold etc. Kayla came out right away worked with my insurance co and got her Derek from her reconstruction crew out along with their restoration guy who immediately began work right away. Kayla and all of her crew have been top notch to work with from Derek and Charles to others who assisted they were all professional courteous and communicated very well and very mindful of needing to get things back to normal for me in my home.They are done with the basement and just have a little bit of exterior repair to do which has to be done weather permitting I will come back to post photos.If you have any kind of issue hire this company to handle all of it from mitigation and reconstruction both.

I had a water heater failure not even 24 hours after moving in to my home. I called RARE restorations and not even 40 minutes later, Kenny, Chris, and Josh showed up. These guys are very professional and took great care of my belongings after a storage unit fire caused smoke damage to my unit. They worked with my insurance and me and were very patient as we both waited on the insurance. They acknowledged that I had some personal belongings with great sentimental value and took the utmost care and put in great effort to bring them back from their damaged state.Hopefully I never have to use them again, but if I am unfortunate enough to suffer from fire/smoke/water damage again, I know who to call.

**updateThey finished the job and gave a small refund. Only giving 3 stars because of the overall experience. Also some of the trim looks rough if you check it out and I’ve already found a couple some places where the corner of the planks are chipped when it was put in.The mitigation was great. Now it’s literally been months and months for the restoration and job’s still not done. The work that was done has been a very poor job. I only paid half the bill up front at first because I didn’t want to pay it all unless the work was done. It was only supposed to take a week and that was months ago. Because it’s taking so long to finish I’ve now been charged interest on the remaining balance. So today they were supposed to finish the final little pieces so I paid the rest. Well no one showed up. My patience is gone at this point. I should at a minimum get the interest returned. It’s ridiculous!!

Everyone we worked with did an amazing job! Our Basement Bathroom in my In-Home Daycare couldn’t look better! It looks better then all the bathrooms in the rest of the house! We will 100% use them again! Mr. Chris with mitigation did fantastic! He was on point, communicated perfectly, and was overall very polite as well! If he wants an expert or had questions about something he brought someone with in the company to help to make sure the job was done right the first time (which of course it was.) Our hot water heater broke and Rare Restoration came to the rescue. They came out on a Saturday and got the fans and dehumidifiers going right away. They came over daily to check moisture levels and gave me advance notice of when they would be here. I have mixed feelings about my experience with Rare.Pros:- They came in very quickly and got right to work.- Set up quickly and came back to check moisture levels consistently.- Did more extensive demo only after things weren’t drying out.Cons:- Communication was inconsistent. They ripped out a floor a day early without telling me and packed up a bunch of stuff from several rooms that wasn’t even related (imagine getting home to find your entire bathroom packed up because they demoed the living room). I got a call asking for the code to THEIR lock box. They sent a plumber to reinstall the toilet without realizing they hadn’t yet fixed the floor underneath it.- Wasteful. They tear out and throw everything away even if it could be reused.- Clearly used to working with the insurance company and so they charge for every little thing and don’t communicate as much with the home owner. For example they left several packing blankets behind and said they are mine now because my insurance paid for them.Ultimately decided not to work with them for the rebuild because of the lack of communication.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

I had a small leak that resulted in hiring a contractor for mold remediation. I used Rare Restoration because their bid was comparable to other companies. They were able to come out and do an inspection very quickly, and then scheduled the work to be done almost immediately after I decided to hire them. The work itself was completed very quick in the 3 day window that was originally promised. The crew was friendly, professional and very accommodating to any request I had. I was impressed by the quality of work and attention to detail.I hope I never need to use a contractor for home repairs again, or at least not in the near future, but if I do need a company for mold issues or water damage I know that I can call Rare Restoration again. We came home from vacation to find a flooded house. I happen to find Rare Restoration online and boy am I happy I did. Not only did they respond after 5 pm to my flooded house because of a pipe burst, they had a whole team out there drying things to prevent further damage. They have introduced us to their industry partners who are quality contactors for anything that they don't take care of and they have been on the ball with communication and coordination. Huge Shout Out to Rare Restoration! I worked with them before when a water line leaked in my old house. They went above and beyond then and they did so this time again. My house got up to 6" of pond water during hurricane Ian. I called them and they had a crew here in two days pulling out materials and setting up dehumidifiers through the house. Their fast action allowed my house to dry out with no mold growth. It allowed me to stay in my house while my neighbors all had to leave. I have had major issues with my mortgage company releasing the insurance money and they have been Extremely Patient with their final payment going out today. The mitigation looks very good, and we are very pleased with how carefully all the cabinets, sink, etc., were dismantled and stored. Earl did a fantastic job in all aspects (e.g., setting up debris containment barrier, disconnecting electrical and plumbing, carefully wrapping each cabinet, dishwasher, etc. in plastic wrap.).
