Joe and his team at Elite Construction did some major projects for me after a hail storm. New roof, new windows, painting, it was a big job. I was amazing how quickly things got done. His team is massive for the size of my house. They got each part of the job done within a few days. And wow does it look great. Joe is very easy to work with, i highly recommend this company for your home improvement or any contractor needs. I’ll be reaching out to them again if more projects come up.

We called them for an estimate to repair or replace our siding. They stated that if there is no replacements for our vinyl the insurance company would have to replace the whole house (we called our insurance and this was not true - maybe you can do a long court case about it but very unlikely). They proceeded to send us a quote for replacement only and an affidavit to sign that we would be doing the work with them if they were to work with our insurance. I asked if they were not able to find any close replacements and they never answered the question, while another company was able to find a match at a construction store down the street. The whole thing was very shady - in the end it seemed like they wanted us to sign a contract for a full replacement cost when our insurance was definitely not going to cover it but insisted that they would.

Although the sales person who came out to check out our damaged siding was nice, it was a very strange experience. He ended up making comments about the structural integrity of our house without doing any testing. Thankfully I hired a real structural engineer and no damage was found. I cannot comment on the integrity of their work as we did not get passed the strange sales meeting. The quote was also 2X the competition.

Elite was recommended to us through our insurance company. While some of the staff were professional, we found the general contractor assigned to us to be ridiculously unprofessional. The company came out and measured our basement for new carpet, we asked them to match the current carpet and sent them an invoice from a previous installer with carpet name. They ordered the carpet. They sent 1 person out to install the carpet, did not give him help with the carpet and instead of having help moving furniture and cover the labor the insurance company paid for, my husband moved all the furniture. Moreover only 3/4 of our basement is complete. The GC measured correctly but never looked to see that the carpet was a pattern, didn’t order enough. I reached out to our GC Mike, received a call back from him explaining HIS mistake on not realizing the carpet had a pattern and asking us to pay the difference. Insurance never approved the carpet we chose, he never gave them the info they asked for, just went ahead and ordered the carpet. Ridiculous. How on earth is this our fault? Do NOT hire this company. When I called to speak with himself and the owner, Mike admitted his mistake in front of the owner and the owner is also asking us to pay. They are not doing what they should be doing to right their employees wrong. The employee never gave all the info to the insurance company and it’s absolutely ridiculous that we should pay for something that was never disclosed to us until they realized THEY did not order enough. While I understand wanting to support their employee, he admitted his fault and they should be paying to finish the remaining room because they did not check that the carpet was a pattern.

I contacted Elite Construction with a roof that was in extremely bad condition due to wind and hail damage, and an insurance company that had denied my claim twice before over the last 2 years. Rich met with myself and the adjuster, and had the claim approved within 30 minutes, including the small roof on my shed. The Elite team was professional, showed up on time, completed the work in one day, and did a great job with clean up. My new roof looks fantastic, and my house is now protected from the Colorado elements. Rich even came out after the installation to inspect for quality, which I appreciated! Big thanks to Rich and his team; I would recommend Elite to anyone, every time!

I found Elite Construction through word of mouth.Having done dozens of home projects, re-models and home repairs, Elite by far is the most outstanding professional company I have ever dealt with. We used Elite to replace our roof. When my neighbor's roof job stalled, mine was done by top notch professionals who did excellent work. They took care of EVERYTHING.I have used them for subsequent jobs since and the quality and price performance remained top notch.I highly recommend this company!

Rich came out and performed an inspection on our roof. He walked me through the process of working with our insurance company. He explained everything as we moved along in the process. He coordinated a crew that knocked out to large buildings in no time. They were great with keeping our area clean and worked around our needs. Rich met with inspectors and with our leadership to answer questions and keep us updated on progress throughout the entire process. We hired Elite Construction after a busted plumbing fixture flooded our basement. They were expedient to quote the full restoration job and get the contract signed but it all went down hill from there. The flood happened in July. It is now December and the job is still not finished. That alone is worthy of a bad review, but really what is so disappointing about this company is their sales team's lack of integrity and disrespectful communication. Our sales representative was very problematic throughout the process and it was apparent that he was not working in our best interest. At almost every turn we felt they were cutting corners, creating unnecessary delays, or taking advantage of the insurance claim settlement process. Even with our project incomplete, I have now elected to relieve them of the rest of their responsibilities just so I dont have to deal with their ongoing lack of performance anymore. I will have to hire another contractor to finish their job correctly. Bottom line is that this company lacks professionalism and integrity. I would not recommend Elite Construction to anyone.---Since I cannot reply to the owner's response directly I am adding this to my original review:I appreciate your response to my review but your summary is not accurate and is missing some significant context.1. The estimate from my insurance company took 30 days to approve because your sales team failed to get the right measurements and complete materials specs and had to come back out to my house three different times over three weeks to get it right. This delay was caused by you, not the insurance company.2. From the time your crew began work in my basement until the day they left was not two weeks, it was over a month. And the job is still incomplete. The scheduling was a total mess and no one from Elite was actually coordinating one sub with another. I ended up doing most of that myself which should be your role as General Contractor. What you claimed would be "more efficient" may have been more cost effective for you but it was certainly not efficient or convenient for us. On several occasions I was told by sales or project manager that a sub would arrive at a certain time or day and I would stay home from my office to be there, just for them to not show up on time or at all.3. As to your statement about the "alternative product within budget", when there were delays with ordering new materials the sales rep suggested a substitution for what he told us would be the "exact same" finish and quality. We agreed to speed things up but this ended up being not the case at all. In the end we got cheaper materials that are not so similar to what was initially chosen. I feel this was dishonest dealing as Im not sure where the difference in cost went. I certainly didn't get it.4. As it relates to finishing the job, the bi-fold door that was to be replaced in our scope of work is still not complete. The sales rep told me that there were supply chain issues and this kind of door is "backordered indefinitely". I couldn't believe that so I took it upon myself to check around. I found the door we needed within 20 minutes from a local supplier. After I sent this to the sales rep his response was a suggestion for me to go ahead and pay for the work completed to date and then just buy the door on my own and install it myself. Clearly he didn't think it was worth his time to complete this part of the job and wanted to leave me holding the bag. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me.Again, thanks for your reply but it is too little too late. Instead of trying to provide excuses for my grievances, my suggestion would be to try to remedy the situation with a customer and within your business to eliminate this kind of thing in the future. Our insurance company contracted Elite Construction to repair some water damage to our walls and wood floors. While the subcontractor gave us some grief during the project, Elite was nothing but professional and kept us up to date as much as possible with what was going on. I would like to give a special shout out to Terie who not only helped us when the subcontractor was being a pain, but took extra steps to go above and beyond when it came to communicating with us about the project.

We contracted with Elite Construction to repair hail damage to our roof, siding, and deck. Their website promises many things they did not deliver on: good communication, reliability and integrity as well as unparalleled customer service.From the beginning I was told that I would only have to pay my deductible and they would take care of everything with my insurance company. Sounded good. In the end, I believe that I made more calls to my insurance company and did more to coordinate this project than they did. The sales representative assured me he would be able to get additional work (a whole-house paint job) covered by my insurance claim. It's not surprising that that did not happen, but the COO actually lied to me about submitting a request for said paint job that was denied by my insurance company. My insurance company had no record of any request ever being made. The COO even gave me dates for this imaginary request, but after asking for documentation multiple times and confronting him about it, he admitted the request was never even made. He said it was a "moot point" by then because we had already moved forward with painting only the parts of the house included in the insurance estimate. (We had sold our house by this time and had to get the claim closed before we moved) However, trust in the company one has hired and the integrity of a business is never a moot point in my opinion.That dishonesty was just one of many, many discouraging interactions with the company. Here are a few more: I had to call Elite consistently and be extremely persistent to get things moving with the work; my sales representative left the country without telling us to contact someone else in his absence thus extending our timeline on a very time-sensitive job; Elite initially sent communication and notices about scheduling work to an incorrect email address so I didn't even know the roofers were coming the day they did; most of the communication for the job was subsequently initiated by me; one contractor didn't do all the work on the claim until I called and told Elite to review the paperwork and do everything included in my estimate.Basically, the idea that I could rely on them to "take care" of our project never materialized. I paid them to be our contractor, but I truly feel like I did a majority of that work. Overall, the whole experience was extremely disappointing and aggravating and I feel strongly in advising people to look elsewhere for a contractor. Do not hire Elite Construction.

Very knowledgeable about material options . Property was clean , roof installation was fast and of high quality.I think its important to mention there was a slight issue with some metal flashing . It was very nice to have Steve Grillo come out to my home and walk me through the storm damages and clam from my insurance company. He helped me understand what was going to be done and how. From the code upgrades needs and even the grill cover I needed to replaced. We even worked it into me getting some rebates for some of the work I was going to be doing myself. Kathy and Rich have an excellent company with true customer service, Honest pricing and loyal to their warranties! I have been through dozens of companies on my 240 condo complex. I don't have to worry and watch over their crews because I know it will be done right. They have done concrete roads, sidewalks, stucco, brickwork and some very technical drainage issues, with 2 projects that are green lights once the money is available, One of them to reside, which not only did they have the rep of Hardie out here but a whole crew from Hardie to go into depth of all my questions and prior issues from when they were built 30 years ago. Not only I changed major designs in the middle of a huge project, but put it on hold until we could get enough info from engineers and they were completely fine with it and helped gather that info, which is a disaster of a nightmare for a contractor to deal with a client that doesn't know what they want or changes huge parts mid way. They stand behind all work without excuses, and meet deadlines even with me throwing extra work in. They have the man power to take on any job I've seen and do the work as you want. I look forward to working with Elite for a long time.

Elite Construction was awesome!!! We are selling our house and needed a roof put on quickly before we listed. Steve came out, gave us an estimate, and was able to get started within just a few days. The crew showed up and were in beast mode.. Took the old roof off and installed the new one in a day! It looks great and we are hoping will help us sell the house. Steve was a joy to work with, and answered all of our questions. We would use them again.

I have been trying to get in touch with Elite Construction for nearly 2 months in regards to a question about the warranty. I have been unsuccessful in getting a response to my question. This paired with the poor communication to even START the job (paid in October and the job wasn't started until December...). Their quality of work seems good enough but their communication has been very very poor and a headache to work with. I would not recommend them to friends.

After last years hail damage I hired Elite Construction to repair my roof.Being new to this area I had no idea whom to choose as there weremultiple people who wanted my business. Rich had been out earlierwhen we had had a sever wind storm and wanted to know if I mindedhim checking my roof so I was firmilar with him. So when he arrivedthis second time we discussed what needed to be done I hiredhim. I then decided that as long as I was having a new roof put on Ialso wanted a skylight and a whole house fan installed.I was completely satisfied with the completed workmanship of all of the items I had done. Rich was always there for me. He returned all of myphone calls when ever I had a question. He walked me through the process with the insurance company. Like any large job, there are always challenges and issues that arise, but Elite was very responsive and proactive in addressing anything that came up. I was called by the owner herself several times, and met with her directly at an on-site visit. This high-touch approach was evident in the rest of the Elite team, as well.
