BEWARE! I'm really bummed that I have to give Expert exteriors a one star review, because they have replaced my roof twice and did a really great job the first time and I thought the second as well, until I got a notice that their roofing supply company is putting a lien on our house because Expert hasn't paid their bills. I've called and talked to Expert but nothing has gotten done I paid them in full when they finished our roof. I'm not sure if they're running a scam now but I would beware of them which is a real shame because they really did do a great job on our roof twice.

STAY AWAY! After the project manager Curtis Johnson completed our roof and gutters on our home, the contractor that actually did the job Chris Acevedo, came over our house saying that he is putting a lien on our house because Expert Exteriors hasn’t paid him. The owner Josh Lucero doesn’t answer the calls and the company phone is never answered. Nobody is responding and we already paid for all the work. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Roofing is something important to the value of a home, being confident you have made the right decision in choosing a roofing contractor is not easy for a homeowner with little knowledge of roofing. Dozens of canvassers show up after every storm offering free roof inspections. Normally I tell them to get lost as I simply don't trust them but after the last storm I figured why not. I was approached by Expert Exteriors the very next day after being pummeled by hail. I agreed to the inspection and shortly I had three people carefully analyzing the condition of my roof. They were careful and knowledgeable and confirmed my expectations that the roof was damaged. One roofer would turn out to be my project manager, Alan Schrock, he made it his business to carefully and fully explain every aspect of the process. He relied upon the advice of the senior managers and made an update essentially daily, he accompanied the adjustor and with his help made sure my insurance claim was fully honored. He was invaluable to my understanding of a somewhat, to me, complex process. I heartily recomend both Alan and Expert Exteriors. Ask for Alan when you need a roof repair.....

We were extremely happy with Curtis Johnson and Expert Exteriors. Our house needed a new roof, which had been damaged by hail, and it also needed a new paint job. The roof repair was somewhat more complicated because we have solar panels. Curtis was an excellent project manager. First he came and did the inspection with the insurance guy to make sure nothing was missed. Then he sat down with us and went over everything in detail. He threw in a number of upgrades and perks at no cost to us. He managed the project perfectly - the solar panel removal, the re-roofing, the carpentry work to fix various external issues prior to painting, the painting itself, the gutter replacement, the final inspection, and the solar panel replacement. Everything went exactly as he had described it to us. The job happened on time and was very high quality workmanship. They say you're not really a homeowner until you have a problem with a contractor, so maybe I'm not really a homeowner yet, because we had absolutely no problems with Curtis Johnson and Expert Exteriors. TERRIBLE PEOPLE!!!! I’ve had them come out for a price quote and figured everything would be as settled. The work done was lazily rushed, and charged almost double as to what was agreed upon. I have also been emailed that their company is filing a lien on my home due to unpaid bills on their end. DO NOT trust their work and DO NOT trust them as a company. I’m APPALLED that I have to go through another company to fix their mistakes.

Not sure what happened to this company. They replaced my roof and gutters. I have a leak in a gutter which I have called them about several times. No response. Then just a few weeks ago I was informed by the city that they never responded to a notice that their work did not pass inspection. I called them again…nothing, no response. Now I need to find a different roofer to do the required repairs and arrange for another inspection at more cost to me I am assuming. Can anyone recommend a roofer for the repairs and another inspection?Disregard!! I can’t say enough about Ryan K. He worked with me from the very beginning to the very end. He was very professional, responsive if I called or texted him, answered my endless questions, and was there to be sure the work was done correctly. There’s not any reason I would not recommend expert exteriors and Ryan specifically. After completion of the roof the gutters were the incorrect color. The salesmen who promised to take care of it, ghosted us and when they called later because of complaints about this same salesmen or to try and sell other products. They informed us it was too late to be actionable now. Don’t trust this company to do what’s right

Alan and team did Great Work on replacing my roof and gutters.Alan was very informative on the whole process step by step from ordering the shingles to having our solar panels taken off the roof and put back on.If we had questions Alan was always giving us the answers or he would find the answers if he wasn’t to sure.Keep up the Great work Alan👍I would use them again👍

I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was to work with this company. Chris Naslund was the project manager and he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. He was also very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. I have recommended Expert Exteriors to both family and friends and they have also been pleased with their experience. The job was well done. They cleaned up after themselves and they were good people to have around. Try the option the owner has a problem with & went to jail about lol I'm pretty sure Josh does street drugs, so he might act a bit strange, if he got bailed out yet? Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I couldn't say it enough. We recently had our roof replaced by Expert Exteriors and they did an amazing job. Chris explained everything to us from the start to finish in a professional manner. He went above and beyond coordinating with our solar company to make sure panels were removed and then reinstalled properly after completion of the roof. Chris and his team cleaned up all the materials better than any other company I have seen do work in our neighborhood. They are the best for roof work. I will definitely call then in the future. Hail storm damage required full roof replacement and some downspout replacements. The project manager, Ryan Moore, coordinated all activities and made the complete roof replacement very easy, all the while being very courteous and professional. Work quality from the roof crew Ryan selected was great and the repair crew lead man was very easy to work with. Ryan followed up quickly on the schedule, installation, and all action items that arose. For being a reputable business you don’t know good driving etiquette. We all have to share the road and when a drive from your company is to impatient cutting people off and driving erratically it’s not safe. I had kids in the car and me slamming on my brakes like I had almost caused a bigger accident. Just be safe and think twiceUPDATE: I have never received service from you guys, if you read the review, I’m stating that your driving is reckless and unnecessary. You could have caused an accident and the only way to hold you accountable is to post a review! Your image is everything if your late to an apt or rushing just because, your putting everyone around you in danger! He always called back within minutes of me leaving a message. The company worked with our homeowners' insurance and made that part easy as well. Expert Exteriors (Ryan Kolb), did a great job in replacing our roof and gutters after hail damage. The crews kept our yard clean and tidy, they were courteous, and were fully transparent throughout the process. Ryan took ownership of the project from the start and never let us down every step of the way, treating our house like it was his own, which is extremely rare in my experience having contractors work on our house. He also guided us through every step of the insurance claim process and handled a lot of the legwork with our insurance company to make sure we were being treated fairly. After a hail storm, Jesse Martinez arrived at our door asking if his crew could inspect our roof for damage. I thought they were wasting their time but they found damage even though our roof was only 12 yr old. Jesse worked with our insurance company to get their approval and Expert Exteriors completely re-roofed our house. They even replaced gutter covers damaged during the removal process. Jesse was very professional, constantly watching over the work like it was his home. Ryan Kolb inspected our house for hail damage, from a storm last year in Broomfield. It turned out we did have damage. Ryan was very helpful in walking us through and explaining the process with our insurance company. He was always available to answer questions by returning phone calls/text in a timely manner. We really appreciated the close follow up and attention to detail Jason Dearmore provided. Expert Exteriors guided us through the entire process in replacing our hail damaged roof and installing a sun tube. They did all the coordination with our insurance company and we had no out of pocket costs for the roof beyond our deductible. It was great to work with a company that educates you about your options, without pushing, and follows through promptly. Their crew was polite, responsive and cleaned up everything! Billy and the whole Expert Exteriors team was great to work with. We had our roof replaced from hail damage. Billy was easy to work with and helped with the insurance claim, even helped get a few windows and screens replaced as part of the settlement. The job was done well and on time. Gave 5 stars, but would rate my experience at a 4.7 out of 5. I had an older roof that was having some issues and had been through a few hail storms. I could not find a roofer that thought they could get me approved through my insurance. A friend referred me to Expert Exteriors. Chris came out and confirmed that I indeed had hail damage that necessitated replacing the roof. He worked with my insurer to get it covered. The garage too! Kudos to him on that! Once the claim was approved I worked with Chris to get everything scheduled. He was very responsive and took time to answer my questions when needed. Installation was a bit of a whirlwind, but I imagine that is status quo with most any roofing company. I am very pleased with the new roof and gutters with everything now complete. I did need to have them back out for some gutter adjusting which took a little wrangling, but it got done to my satisfaction. The only other critique I have is that some of the facia got beat up during the removal process. Some areas were addressed while some were not. I understand that insurance was not covering everything, but it would have been nice to have had these smaller detail items included as it was a bigger sized residential re-roof. I was able to handle these touch up items myself with no problem though. I would certainly recommend Expert Exteriors and would definitely use them again if needed. A shout out to Jose with 5280 Seamless Gutters as well who was subcontracted to install the gutters and do some minor repairs along the soffits!Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

I am not sure where to begin. Isaac Benavidez, project manager at Expert Exteriors exceeded my expectations. I received a call back within a couple of hours of inquiry. He came out to look at my roof the next day. Sent me a quote shortly after with an explanation of roof material, installation process and expectations. Billy was our salesman and I couldn't recommend a better guy to work with. He was very responsive and always answered all questions and phone calls. He was upfront and all costs were discussed as well as time frames. He was quick in getting the install scheduled and the roofing contractor showed up on time every day and cleaned up their mess. They were very respectful of the property and courteous of us coming and going and worked hard the entire time. I couldn't be happier with how the roof turned out. Billy also followed up after completion and double checked and went over everything one last time to make sure we were happy and the work was done correctly. He made working with the insurance company as easy as possible. Devon at Expert Exteriors was an excellent resource throughout the process. From start to finish, he was there to explain everything and work with the contractors to make sure all the work on the roof was installed correctly. He even coordinated with our solar company to ensure that the panels were removed and then reinstalled properly after the roof was completed. The final product looks great. Devon and his workers did prompt work and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and Devon went above & beyond by even blowing out the leaves in our backyard after picking up roofing materials! After a hail storm they came out and gave us a free inspection. This is our first house (and roof) so we had a ton of questions. Chris politely explained in detail all of our options with no pressure to sign. He even offered to call our insurance company with us to make sure all the boxes were checked and was there on the day of the insurance inspection to help advocate for us. All the guys who did the work over really polite and possibly the fastest construction workers I’ve ever seen! The roof is perfect. They helped make the best of an unfortunate situation. Nobody wants to deal with hail damage but these guys made it as painless as possible. We primarily worked with Ryan Moore and he was one of the best project managers I've worked with. He put in a bunch of effort to make things easy for my wife and I. He worked with us on scheduling inspections and the work, kept us up to date on status and was always courteous. Only one small miscommunication throughout the process and it may have been my own failing memory at fault. We recently had our roof replaced by Expert Exteriors, and they did an amazing job. Devon was with us 100% of the way, from explaining all the paperwork in the beginning and making sure our insurance would cover the hail damage, to supervising his contractors during the work (which was completed very quickly), to coordinating with our solar company to make sure the panels were removed and then reinstalled properly after completion of the roof. Devon and his team cleaned up all the fallen roof materials around our house (and our neighbor's house since a few things fell over their fence) and even put back our holiday decorations that had been set aside during the duration of work. I highly recommend Devon and Expert Exteriors. Ryan at EE was great. He helped guide through an insurance claim process for a full replacement. He had good ideas for upgrades and good advice for dealing with the insurance company. The quality of the work was excellent. There were a couple communication glitches. Nothing out of the ordinary.
