Formula was an absolute dream to work with on a pretty difficult project at my home involving multiple layers of involvement with my insurance company. Lawrence (business owner) came to my home multiple times in person to make sure the insurance situation was resolved in a satisfactory fashion, and when all was said and done the entire roof and brand new decking all ended up getting covered with no cost directed to me.In terms of the actual work, his team was incredibly efficient (finished everything in just one day) and the foreman Jesus was very communicative and great to work with. They even came back after the fact and installed two new vent stacks when it was identified that those were needed (which I honestly think was my fault for not being identified as needs during the initial work). If I ever need a new roof again (which seems unlikely considering how well this work was done!) I'll absolutely call Formula, and I'd recommend them highly to anyone in need of roofing work!

Formula roofing was excellent from start to finish. We had cement shingles that were but failed underlayment. They were able to remove the tiles, lay new and hurricane proof underlayment, and reinstall the existing tiles. The roof restoration vs. total replacement saved us tens of thousands of dollars. Nick was great getting the job scheduled and Tony and crew where always on site as scheduled and respectful of our property. We had a small section of tiles that had to be replaced which didn't match the original tiles. Tony assured us they would find the correct color and sure enough after a few months he had them and installed once our roof was clear of snow. We have had zero leaks. Formula roofing are local, dependable, have excellent follow up, and were excellent to work with!

He listened to my concerns and was quick to address them and ensure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. So glad I found Formula! Nick and Tony were great from start to finish. I have a historic clay tile roof, they were both very knowledgable. They answered all of my questions and walked me through my options. In the end I decided to fully restore the roof, which saved me money and allowed me to keep the historic aesthetic of my home. They seem like they have a lot of experience with tile roofs, and an inventory of a lot of different tiles for these types of projects.

Amazing transformation! We contracted Formula Roofing to provide a full tile roof restoration and gutters replacement. Nick and Tony shared photos from start to finish to provide visibility underneath the original roof. The different phases from the photos looked very uniform and professionally done. The finished product looks fresh and new, especially now with the new gutters. Already received some compliments from my neighbors. The team under Tony’s leadership did incredible work and I appreciated the ongoing communication throughout the project. Since our project was completed during Winter, weather was an expected challenge that the team did an excellent job working around it and even pushing through on a Saturday to stay on schedule. Nick was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. His insight / perspective on the pros and cons between the three options was very helpful to be able to choose the best option for our home. We also appreciated his willingness to work with us to offer a very competitive price on the full restoration and new gutters. Really pleased with our experience with Formula Roofing & Remodeling and would highly recommend this team to others. After severe hail damage totaled the roof on my house we were in need of a total roof repair. Mark with Formula Roofing managed the entire process with my insurance company, lots of back and forth with my fiancé and I, and the entire project - which wasn’t easy. We decided to have skylights installed in a couple rooms in the house and Mark and his team completed the work expeditiously and did a phenomenal job. Would recommend Mark and his team to anyone looking for a quality roof and a responsive and competent manager to oversee the project. Thanks to the entire team for helping restore the roof in my house and for working with my insurance company (something I hate to do!)

Outstanding company, my wife and I noticed a small leak in one of our bedroom ceilings, after frantically calling everyone we could, Formula took our call, diagnosed what they thought the issue could be and sent their amazing tech Evan the next day. No one else we had called were as quick or easy to work with. While he diagnosed the problem, Evan conducted a quick and thorough inspection of our roof and discussed possible future repairs and other fixes that could make our old house look and act brand new. When it's time to replace our roof, always one hale storm away here in Colorado, Formula and Evan is who we'll call!

Very professional and easy to work with! Had our roof and gutters replaced, and solar detached/reattached. We had a particularly difficult time obtaining the shingles we wanted after a tornado, but the Formula team ultimately figured it all out even with short supply. After hail and storm damage, I called several local companies to assess the damage and estimate repair costs. Out of the five or six companies I called, Formula consistently came out on top. The representative (DJ) was very responsive and answered every question I had. Once hired, the company and crew came out on time, and had the job done, using high quality materials in one day. Formula also arranged for the gutter and down spout replacement, all completed in a fast turnaround, efficiently and professionally. I had an amazing experience with Formula Roofing on a variety of detailed work on my 30 year old custom home during 2023. Josh led the many projects and continues to lead for continued work in 2024. Josh has a long roofing history and eye for detail and commitment to quality and resiliency. His work and understanding and execution of all metal details on my house and design is unparalleled. He brought on Andy and Andrew to do some outstanding soffit refurbishment and painting, and Carey to do some detailed reinforcement beneath roof tiles where there are support brackets that extend beyond the surface. The continued metal work in 2024 will involve disrupting some stucco and he will include Sage to partner with him on these details. It is refreshing to work with a leader and a team that work together with a commitment to quality.

Tony provided a good estimate. He explained the problem and how it should be corrected. The 2 workers that showed up were courteous, efficient and cleaned up after themselves well. Only negative was that the workers indicated Tony would be back to inspect the work but he never showed up or called.All in all, estimate was fair. Job quality was good. Nick was very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any tile roof job!

Formula did an excellent job in fixing our leaking roof. At the initial inspection Josh did a temporary fix to prevent water ingress and scheduled to come an undertake more permanent fixes. Throughout Josh was very professional, communicating on a regular basis and completed the work on schedule and on price. This was a horrible experience! We agreed to replace our roof in April 2023 after a home inspection by the buyers. They requested using Formula Roofing, we unfortunately agreed.Formula gave a quote, we signed the contract. A few days later our area was hit hard by a hailstorm. Our insurance adjuster came out and approved coverage. The representative from Formula called us and said that we need to cancel the contract and they could go directly through our insurance company because they could charge more for the job. We informed the rep that he could not unilaterally cancel a contract.There was a lot of pressure for us to cancel that contract, including calling our Realtor inappropriately to have her pressure us as well. She informed us that he had accused us of insurance fraud. A call to our insurance agent assured us that this was not the case.If this weren't enough....Part of Formula's sales pitch is that they offer $250 if you allow their sign in your yard. I had to call to request this after the job was complete. The card had almost a zero balance. Formula wouldn't deal with it or issue a new card, we had to contact the card provider ourselves. After much time on hold for many follow-up calls we went through several weeks of documenting that we were not the ones who used the card fraudulently. Finally a new card was provided.Dealing with Formula was a headache from beginning to end. Do yourself a favor and hire a reputable company.Service: Roof installation

We worked with DJ at Formula roofing to get our roof replaced after getting hit with a tornado and hail. We were working with insurance, and he made the process super easy. He met the adjuster the morning he came out and made sure everything was recorded. Once we got the paperwork back from insurance, he sat and went through it all with us, even the non-roof related stuff. As this was our first time dealing with homeowners insurance, it was super helpful. As for the actual replacement, the team took care of it in a day, and everything turned out great, no surprises, nothing extra to deal with. Added bonus that our dog just loved him.
