Before the big freeze in January we had a kitchen island sink that had a slow leak. We discovered that it had been leaking down the copper pipe that supplied clean intake water from a faulty connection. It leaked into a utility room (no damage) and by the time we discovered it the wood floor in the kitchen had been damaged. Although the mitigation company tried to save it with fans and suction mats it wasn’t salvageable. Our first contact was with Peter the estimator. He came out and did detailed drawings and even crawled into my crawl space to make sure that there was no water damage. He dealt with the insurance and then Omar and his team started. They moved our furniture out, and taped all of the cabinets and artwork with plastic. Omar had to leave unexpectedly but Cristian took over seamlessly. We added some work that we wanted them to do. Gustavo did an excellent job at dovetailing the new wood into the existing and sanding and staining. Alphonso and his team made the handrails and spindles look like new. From initial damage on Jan 7 to completion on March 13 the communication was great. Of course a great deal of that time was trying to mitigate for a week, then dealing with the insurance company. But once we got the go ahead it went quickly. I highly recommend this company!! Thank you all!!

I had a great experience with NuBilt and really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of their team as I welcomed a wide variety of contractors to assist with a flooded bathroom rebuild project. I had heard so many nightmares from other neighbors doing renovations but we never had any concerns with our team. Special thanks to Christian and Eric as well as the tile team but we actually have nothing but good things to say about each and every person involved. I also liked seeing apprentices learning from most of the tradespeople. The cleaner left us in better than before shape. Kudos all around. We would use again for sure. But maybe no more unexpected renovations for a while hopefully…

Could not be happier with our experience working with NuBilt. We had water damage that came down from our second floor and we had to rip out the ceiling in our entry way to get to it. I had a tragic pipe accident in the upstairs master bath of my townhome that I am woefully uneducated about how to deal with. I did get a referral from homeowners insurance to Nubilt to do restoration and repairs. They immediately sent heated dryer machines to mitigate any water that could turn to mold. Then they scheduled demolition of the affected surfaces. I was sent to choose replacement tile. Nothing would coordinate with the 18 year old existing tile, so they were able to get approval to replace all the tile in my bathroom. This was a huge relief, as the old style was nothing I liked. Luis and Henry did a great job with demolition. While destroying stuff doesn't seem like a big deal, I had some delicate places, like under the giant 10 foot long mirror, that they were careful with. My neighbor had a remodel with shattered glass during demo from another company. Tile laying was extensive and Xavier did an expert job, including niche spaces that I requested and look stunning. The plumber Troy and his helper had faucets in 2 sinks, a tub, a shower, and moving the toilet out and back in. I wanted to upgrade the builder chrome/brass fixtures with matte black like on my fave HGTV shows. It just so happened that the old pieces would not fit on the new tile dimensions, so he graciously installed the new fixtures instead of shopping for extensions for everything. I had to pay for all the faucets, but they look a thousand times better. Jesus did an amazing job patching downstairs ceiling drywall tape bulges, paint, and baseboards. Finally, Diana and Dina came in to clean up the dust, particles, protective paper, plastic, and tape covering the entire path from my front door, upstairs, and into my bathroom. I was very surprised how thorough they were for the bathroom, bedroom, and whole pathway. I am very pleased with the end result and will enjoy having a beautiful space after a traumatic flood. I recommend the team at NuBilt for repair or remodel!

During the great MLK freeze, a pipe burst in my bathroom and leaked into my basement. The NuBilt team was amazing to work with, from Omar the project manager, Brandon the estimator, the plumbing team, and general contractors. Working with NuBilt to restore our basement after flood damage was seamless from start to finish. From the time it took for the initial estimate from Adam to the finished product exceeded my expectations. Christian was extremely communicative and responded very quickly to any questions that came up. He also came by each day to check on the progress (which in and of itself only took their team 3 days which wowed me). Rosendo, who was the lead working on the repairs, was very friendly and made sure to give me a rundown of what they were doing each day and also did a walkthrough with me at the end of each day to explain the progress. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Moving forward, NuBilt will be the ONLY company that I use for any home restoration or construction needs.

NuBilt came to the rescue when we had water damage from our dishwasher leaking through to the basement. We ended up needing our main level and kitchen flooring replaced as well as all the kitchen cabinets. They had to do drywall work both in the main level and basement, which of course also included painting. Amru and Peter were instrumental in working with my insurance claim adjuster to get approvals for all the repairs needed. They worked with me to find excellent, attractive replacements for flooring and cabinets that are quality and sturdy - to hold up against my 3 young sons. :) I'm busy and didn't need another project going on, but NuBilt took that load off my shoulders and managed the whole thing start to finish - which by the way was one of the fastest kitchen and main level remodels I've ever witnessed! We were hosting 25 people for Thanksgiving and NuBilt's team made it all happen in rockstar fashion, completing the job in time for me to still be able to host a wonderful holiday with family. I feel like I got a new house! Amru managed the project and was in constant communication with me about all the moving parts I needed to know about. I appreciated his frankness in letting me know from the beginning what to expect. We were out of a kitchen sink for about a week which is difficult with kids, but knowing those details early on allowed us to prepare for it. NuBilt should be the model for all companies. My insurance company contacted NuBilt to mitigate a flood in my family room. Gerardo Mendoza came to our house and my mind I was immediately put to rest. After evaluating the issues, he assured me that NuBilt would be able to address all of them. My son was so impressed with the way Gerardo did the inspection, that we both felt confident that this company was the best choice. The next day, Manuel & Henry came with vacuums, fans and a dehumidifier. They removed all the furniture and set up the equipment, . Manuel was such a kind and pleasant fellow and both men worked quickly and efficiently to begin the mitigation. The next day, Janet & Sergio adjusted the fans and checked the progress. They also were very pleasant and worked efficiently as well. The next three days, Ringo came to make the adjustments and to remove all the equipment. He was not only efficient, but also a warm and caring guy. Everyone I dealt with went out of their way to make me feel like I was family and they were going to do whatever they could to make a very stressful experience way easier for me. Since there were two parts to the bidding, the mitigation and the restoration, we decided to use NuBilt for the restoration as well.

We had a water leak in our second floor bathroom that ran down into our main floor powder/laundry room. Omar and his crew were quick to come in and assess the damage. Peter was our estimator, and he was quick and thorough. Once all of the replacement items (tile, etc) were ordered, work started pretty quickly. I was given an estimate of three weeks start to finish, and they ended before the three weeks was up. Each time a worker came into work on something, they were friendly and there was never a mess left (something I have experienced with other renovation companies). Eric was a great help as they finished up the final touches on each room. Like I mentioned earlier, all of the crew was friendly, respectful, and great at what they did. I tried to grab most of their names, so I hope I don't miss anyone - Alex, Luis, Sammy, and Xavier were all great. The subcontractors they used for a few items were also great - Jesus, Enrique, Leo, and Enrique the painter. I wouldn't hesitate having Nubilt work on my home again (though I hope if I ever need them again it is because I want a renovation and not due to water damage.)

A claim of any sort is a tremendous inconvenience, but when it's a water damage claim that destroys your hardwood floor and your entire ground floor, well...that's a massive headache. Nubilt came highly recommended to us by our mitigation company and boy, did they deliver!1st we met Peter who came to assess the damage and prepare a quotation for our insurance claims adjuster, and it was sufficiently detailed that everything that he included was approved. We were then introduced to Omar who was the project manager and coordinated the restoration of our property with understanding and care. We were really hoping to have our house restored in time for the holidays, and Omar did whatever he could to make this a possibility.He coordinated Sammy, who was extremely pleasant and skilled in his craftsmanship as he rebuilt our cabinets. Every day, he showed up on time, and also worked quickly as he did the major cutting of our boxes overnight and came back and installed them the very next day.Alma and her crew came and, with the utmost care, removed our existing stone countertop and reinstalled it with nary a chip or break, and looks just as good as before we were flooded out. Troy was the plumber who came and diagnosed the existing problems with our pipes that contributed to our water leakage issues, and reconnected our new dishwasher, correcting the plumbing issues as well.Alex and his team came in and covered our dusty sub floors with brand new laminate, capping it with lovely trim and Alfonso and his team came and did the painting of our repaired drywall, trim and restored doors all within 4 hours!And the best part was, this was all completed 2 days before Christmas! NuBilt transformed our 25+-year-old home into a million-dollar showcase. Literally. Work began with repairing water damage from wind-driven rain and roof replacement due to hail damage. We were so pleased with the workmanship and attentiveness, we enlarged the project to a complete remodel--including adding valuable square footage to our home by reclaiming attic space and turning it into the spectacular walk-in closet of my dreams! The project manager became a friend along the way, offering insightful recommendations and careful management of the work crew. We shared lots of laughter and fun conversation with him as well as the individual workers over the course of the project. In the demo process, we discovered mold from old leaks. NuBilt immediately brought in the mitigation big guns to extract any remaining mold spores, taking precautions to protect our family and NuBilt's workers. The owner was especially responsive. The team at NuBilt far exceeded my expectations as they assessed the damages then replaced all the tile in my kitchen, hallway and laundry room as well as replaced some of the drywall and cleaned the carpet in my basement due to damage caused by a leak in my dishwasher. Earlier this year, we experienced a flood that destroyed nearly a third of our home. NuBilt rescued us! Not only were they able to triple our insurance company's initial offer, but they swiftly, expertly replaced our damaged floors, walls, and our entire master bathroom. Omar took charge of our project and made everything so easy for us; he responded to every text and phone call within minutes, and he oversaw the construction from start to finish. He also had wonderful contacts to help us select floors and bathroom fixtures. His entire team worked tirelessly from sun up to sun down and even on weekends to complete the work quickly but with extraordinary attention to detail (special shout-out to Miguel, who was the leader of our construction team). Every person who has walked into our home since NuBilt's restoration has complimented our floors and has stood in awe at our bathroom, which now looks like a high end spa! A part on my dishwasher broke causing a lot of damage to my home. The wood floors had to be replaced in the kitchen and all flooring on main floor had to be sanded and refinished to match. This meant that everything on the main floor had to be removed while the floors were being repaired. This included a baby grand piano and a pool table. Zach, our project manager, set up the correct people to pickup & store the piano & pool table. He informed me every step of the way who was coming & what time they would be there. There were many parts to this project. Zack went above and beyond his job. I would call NuBilt again for any future projects.

NuBilt was very easy to work with. They were out doing clean up the day it was reported. The were great answering questions and helping us understand the process. We did struggle a bit with their painters and drywallers not being very conscientious and careful with their work, but NuBilt worked with us to make sure the feedback was received and problems corrected.
