I was lied to about what it is that Cleary can do, told that they have the ability to do the site prep work, like leveling the ground. Those lies led me to sign a contract with them. 2 and a half years later they FINALLY started construction after threats of lawsuits were being made. Notice if you sign a contract with then, there is no garentee when the work will even begin. Don't belive anything they say unless it is written down in the binding contract. Verbal promises are all lies

Appalling company! They constructed our shops and callously abandoned over 1000 nails scattered across the property. Their vindictive actions stemmed from our decision not to employ them for grading the property. Such blatant disregard for safety and professionalism demands legal action for gross negligence. Also didn't have the correct lumbar so they pieced it together with random pieces that were not up to code. Do not use this company ever. So many other better choices out there.

Several years ago I had Cleary build a shop for me and it went very well. They were responsive, quick, and did an excellent job. This company has changed. I have another contract with them for another project. They were supposed to be here a week and a half ago to check a couple measurements. They never came or contacted me at all. The rep has left the company, they told me whoever takes over the project would be in contact with me the following week. That was 2 weeks ago and nobody has contacted me. Whatever measurements they needed 2 weeks ago have not been made and nobody has contacted me. Cleary is definitely not the responsible and trustworthy company they used to be. Be smart and find a different company to build for you, I'm stuck in this mess and I hope you have better luck somewhere else.Update!It's now June 27th, our start date was 4 days ago and plans haven't even been submitted to the regional building department yet! The start date came and went without even a phone call from Cleary! This is not the same company they used to be. Once again I say "find a different company to build for you". They will give excuses and no information on when they will actually be starting the work. I've dealt with crooked contractors before and this company is just as bad.2nd update!Its now August 21st, the build date was 2 months ago. They finally got plans finished and to me, I immediately submitted them to the regional building department. Their plans were rejected by the county and so far they have done nothing about it. This is a very simple add on to an existing Cleary building and they seem incapable of doing the job. We still have no new build date. Its time to contact the corporate office, the BBB, and social media. Once again I say "find a different company to build for you". This company does not have any idea what they are doing.3rd update!It's now Nov 17th. Still no start on construction, build dates keep coming and going and they have lots of excuses. Horrible company to deal with, go somewhere else.

Contacted Cleary Building Corp to have a simple 36 x 40 pole barn installed. Signed a contract with a sales rep in September of 2020, that promised to be in contact with me every week during the process. Saw him that one time, gave him deposit of over 8k. Never saw him again, no guidance or help during the permit process at all. Called him after more than a month of not hearing from him. He informed me that he no longer worked for the company and does not know who my new rep was.. After more time went by I met the "replacement" sales rep. He promised me the same weekly contact and updates. Another few weeks went by and I decided to call him to get an update. He informed me that HE no longer was with the company. I was never notified by Cleary about either "sales reps" departure. Finally after after 4 months of this terrible customer service, I notified Cleary Building Corporation's home office that I have had it with this fiasco and wanted my deposit back. I was then informed by their "Director of Marketing" that I would only get around 4k back for terminating the contract. He said that was for cost's that Cleary incurred during the process. They did nothing but produce a rendering of what the building looked like!!! I asked for a detailed invoice for the charges of over 4k that they were charging me for. The DIRECTOR OF MARKETING refused to produce the invoice!!!! I received my partial refund in late July of 2021, nearly 10 months of nothing being done that cost me over 4k..My advice to anyone that is even thinking of using Cleary Building Corp is, Don't walk but RUN away from this company!!!UPDATE - You will see that an un-named Cleary Building Corp representative made a weak attempt to respond to my honest review of their company. You will also notice he or she did not address any of the issues, especially the one where they REFUSED to provide a detailed invoice of their $4,000 worth of bogus charges. You know why they did not address it??? Because it is the truth and they have no excuse for it other than this is normal practice for them...RUN, DON"T WALK AWAY FROM CLEARY BUILDING CORPORATION!!!!!!

I had Cleary put up a 48x120 building for me from start to finish I was very pleased. Lynn was my sales guy and he was in total control of the project and his crew, that being said I am a remodeler so of course I went out and checked plumb and square and it is perfect.Thanks Cleary for the building.Tyler

The buildings are good, but the sales guy made it a really terrible experience ending up much more expensive then he promised and way behind schedule. I had to get corporate involved and to their credit they stepped in to get the project going. But it was still thousands more expensive then Maurice (salesman) promised.

Called multiple times and physically showed up to get a building built. Have the pad ready to go and never got a call back or any response.
