Consumer beware…we hired this company to replace our roof and repaint our home. They initially told us the roof would be grey so we made color choices on that. It went on had blue and green specs all through it that are very different than a grey roof. Being flexible we just opted for different colors because having them tear off a roof and redo it felt petty at the end of the day with the cost and time everyone put in. We paid for that portion of the work upon completion.Next came the paint job. Their painters seemed nice at first. Until they couldn’t complete the job as promised and got frustrated with my request that it was done right before paying the balance. The painter stood in my home and began accusing me of playing games and cussed at me. He kept ranting about what we didn’t do as he left and his son continues to try to get him to just leave but he was too hot headed to be professional.While I know the door is minimal to be upset about it’s the whole process that has caused this end result. Happy customers aren’t upset about a door. It’s a lot of little that you compromised on at first that adds up to the end frustration when they can’t complete the job as promised.

They send their people door to door to solicit and ignore any and all signage posted from homeowners to please not solicit. When asked the guys says if I pay attention to the signs I don't make my salary of 140k a year. Good to know your salary is more important then my rights as a homeowner to not have strangers coming to my home.

I would highly recommend Ace Roofing and Construction. I previously was having issues with my homeowners insurance, but they fought for me, and got all of the damages covered. They made the process smooth and easy. Their roofing crew was awesome, and built my roof in 5 hours. They even upgraded me to a class 4 hail resistant shingle for no extra cost, something the other roofing companies which I looked into wanted thousands extra for. I'm glad that I chose Ace Roofing.

Ace Roofing & Construction did a great job reroofing my house. They helped me every step of the way, including communicating with the insurance company to speed the process. The shingles are also hail resistant which after the July 31st large hailstorm damaged my roof. I would do business again with this company.

Yes, the roof is on but was the wrong color. The guy who set up the job "No longer works for the company. We haven't seen him in weeks and he isn't answering his phone. It happens". The new guy I spoke with says the color on the contract was changed... mine wasn't. After much confusion, calls, emails, and letters, they made good on all our requests and addressed all our concerns. Talk to Mike. He's a good man.We recently had all the gutters replaced by another company and there were comments about how poorly the roof and drip edges were installed. Drip edges were also were the wrong color.Service: Roof installation

Today I spoke with a man, Josh. ACE did work for 2 of our rentals last spring. One job was gone but things that they agreed to fix weren't. We paid 8/6/16. I got another bill for the other but there were also unfinished repairs. Like handles our houses. I wanted an adjustment for items unfinished. Never received a response. The money was put into an acct. for the house. Fast forward, Friday we received a demand letter. This was for a even greater amount. I called 8/25/17 at 9:25 and spoke to Kathy. She informed me that Mike was gone, things were less then up to date on his accounts. I told her we were ready to pay but had questions on the amount and unfinished work. There was a second amount requested after the first total was given. I just wanted to know what the extra repairs were for, and when they were done. I was pretty much informed we were deadbeats (?)and he was going to sue and put a lean. The more questions the more upset he got. We sent the check earlier this week. We probably will Never know what extra work they did. The funny thing on all this is the house is changed owners 7 months back. The sales pitch was great after that good luck. Old people ask too many questions just skim the insurance companies. One more thing I've made an appointment to see Denver OG.

I am a first time home owner and so this was the first storm I have ever had to deal with. I was really unsure of what to do and who to call. My friend had recommended Ace Roofing to sent me over a link on Facebook. I called them up and they were very nice and informative. After talking with them I was more confident on what I need to do. They explained everything that what was going to happen next. I had them come out to my house to inspect the property. They showed me pictures of the roof and walked me around to show me some of the damage the storm had caused. They helped me file a claim with my insurance company.Everything is done and the roof looks great. Its only been a couple weeks since I filed the claim and I cant believe it is all done. Super happy that I called them. I will be recommending these guys to everyone!!!

Just bought a house and I went in knowing the roof needed replacement. After a recommendation from a neighbor I called. Right from the start they were pleasant to work with. They went over roofing options, showed up on time, got the job done quickly but still correctly. All in all a good experience working with this company and a definite recommendation from me to use them.

My grandma experienced an extreme amount of hail damage which caused a water leak. I called multiple roofing company's at which they told me and I quote (we're sorry but because we are so busy we won't be able to get schedule her for about 3 week). We were about to give up when we called ACE ROOFING. They had a guy come out that day. ACE treated her situation as if it were their own. They talked to her insurance, gathered all the permits needed and after they installed the new roof; scheduled all the inspection's from the city. They literally did everything, including leaving her house cleaner than when they arrived. My grandmother wanted me to write this review because she is not able but wanted everyone to know how grateful she it. For my self, ACE continuously gave me updates even though it was not my house. My grandma told me the other day, she wishes she could do something for that company in return for what they did for her. Long story short, she had me deliver home made pies that she made to the company. We are so grateful and will always recommend ACE ROOFING to everyone. Thank You so much ACE for helping us when no one else would.

Ace was recommended to us by a friend as well. We had wind/storm damage to our shake roof which was extensive enough for our insurer to recommend replacement. Ace (Mike Awalt) arranged a meeting here with our adjuster to get things rolling, and once that happened the project was coordinated and completed by Mike and his team very quickly. This even with spring snow and shipment of shake materials from out-of-state. Once started, the roof was completed in 6 days. Cleanup occurred after every day's work! We did not do anything. The final cost and insurance claim checks were negotiated and sent without any involvement on our part--Mike did it all, including building code research and City approvals. Thanks very much--these things happen very seldom, but this experience was perfect!

I am very dissatisfied with this company. Three separate times they said they would be here and did not show up. Nor did they call to say they would not be here. I had to call to tell them the job was unsatisfactory. They didn't show up when scheduled, then they only fixed half of what they did wrong. I am not calling again to get more promises that don't come true. I want another company to fix their mess and finish the job. I have called my insurance company to see what my options are and I hope they are better at communication than Ace. However, they are dealing with Hurricane Andrew claims and the recording said they were experiencing very high volume.

These guys cut the pvc exhaust pipe to my water heater and covered the hole. My hot water heater is in my bedroom and I didn’t notice what they did until the next day. My entire place filled with gas and they literally could have killed me. When I called and told them not only were they non apologetic they told me they would fix it come Monday morning. (This happened sat afternoon) it is amazing that they are allowed to operate. With how many roofing companies there are in Denver I would never choose this company. Ever!

These guys really helped me out. They where able to take care of me from the start by showing up for when the adjusters came by to look at the house, explaining the all the paper work that he gave me, and walked me though the next steps in the process. They defiantly kept me in the loop of things to when the new roofing materials would arrive and when the work would start.The crew that did the work, where fantastic. They were very fast and efficient. l was worried that there would be nails and trash all over the perimeter of the house but not at all, they were super clean about it. When they finished up with everything they walk around the house several times to make sure they didnt miss anything.I couldnt be happier with my decision to use Ace for my claim and will be using them again if hail hits again.
