First and foremost, I am reviewing Ethos based on a nightmare solar contract and installation, not on their roofing business.I entered into a solar install purchase agreement through Ethos GC in July 2022. As part of a 3 way partnership, Powur was the lead in project management and design, Solare the installer. While the below issues are well known to Ethos, I must warn all who consider using them or Powur as a solution/solar provider.We chose a solar solution in June 2022, it was based on value, timing and partnership with what was touted as an industry leader (Powur). I appreciated the messaging and engagement against 3 other solar bids which is why we signed (and paid) with on July 7, 2022. The set expectation of permission to operate (PTO) was by Fall, 2022. While project management was through Powur, the number of design miscues, failed scheduling and permit applications, misleading and false communication and failed scheduled installs was beyond reason. Ethos tried and failed to serve as an intermediary. By December, I had logged nearly 100 emails/calls, calling out every misstep and the complete disconnect between all 3 entities involved. I and a neighbor met directly with Ethos where my neighbor cancelled their engagement. I regrettably stayed the course. Ethos' role essentially disappeared, leaving me to fight battles with Solare(installer) and Powur alone. I had to constantly engage with City of Loveland permitting and Loveland Water and Power in an effort to keep tabs and progress on the project. Ongoing problems with the electrical design and meter, multiple "escalations" and the promise of support "asap" resulted in nothing tangible. Not until August 2023 did we finally achieve PTO.Sure, replace your shingles with Ethos. But regarding their solar side business, stick with a single solution provider, not a reseller.

We could not be happier with Ethos Roofing and Restoration and Bill Halvorsen. We had a tremendous amount of damage to our home in a hailstorm. Windows were damaged, garage doors, the roof, outside doors, window trim, railings, etc. Bill managed all the necessary contractors with precision and quality and replaced the roof and roof vents and gutters. He also handled all the communication with our insurance company and we had no problems whatsoever and complete reimbursement. Everything he told us was accurate, no surprises. I just don't know what we would have done without the expertise and knowledge of quality work. I was dreading the roof replacement process after the hail storm because EVERY roofing company knocked on our door for months. We went with Ethos for there non-pressure approach and they took care of ALL aspects of the damage (windows too) including working with our insurance. Ethos made the process SO stress-free. Bill and his team explained every little detail, the communication and updates were outstanding and informative, and they were great about answering all my questions and concerns. Bill Halvorsen came to my door after the Fort Collins hailstorm last July. I hadn't decided on a contractor for my hail damage and decided to give him my business after looking through Ethos' record. I could not have been more happy with the results. Bill handled every aspect of my claim, including negotiating with the insurance company multiple times to get coverage for things that were never on the initial assessment. He handled everything for me and made it a stress free process, and was able to get our entire house painted, roof replaced, garage door replaced, and every other detail to bring our house back to even better condition that it was before. After hearing horror stories from others who tried to work as their own contractors, I am so happy I went with Ethos. After they were paid and everything was done, I needed their certification for updating my insurance, and they were super quick to respond and take care of it for me. They are not the type of contractor who forgets about you once they've been paid. They definitely have a customer for life with me.

We had a roof leak and called Ethos. Bill came out, inspected the roof for the source of the leak and told me about hail damage that he saw. We filed an insurance claim and had Ethos replace the roof, replace gutters, paint the outside of the house and some interior areas where the original leak was located. All the worers were professional and did a really good job. The whole job was done quickly, within a few days with no problems. They used a super magnet to pick up any nails around the outside of the house. We were told to notify our insurance company that a class 4 roof was installed and got a big discount on our insurance policy because of that. I will use Ethos from now on for home repairs. Great team! This group did a wonderful job repairing my roof on a rapid timeline. Quote was detailed / competitive and did not grow over the course of the work. Team stopped when realizing that the color didn't quite match the legacy shingles and organized to come back on an alternative day with the correct material. Ethos helped us through a long process of getting our house back to normal after a hail storm ruined the roof, siding, and window casings. They worked patiently and professionally with the insurance company and always responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner. They even corrected some installation errors that the builder originally completed. We sustained hail damage on our roof and portions of the siding. We submitted an Ins. claim and Ethos was selected to perform the repairs. I worked with Bill thru the process, he was my interface to both the repair people and the insurance company, his (their) insight caught a number of hail (latent) damage issues that may have gone unknown noticed...The repair spanned the winter (primarily painting), and come spring he contacted me and scheduled the jobs need to complete the repair.During the damage inspection, Bill discovered other issues with our roof and put together a repair plan at a very reasonable price.The various contractors he employed were very friendly, respectful and clean. All construction process have their associated issues and are painful, but Bill helped us navigate thru the details. Always responsive and timely. I scheduled an appointment with Ethos to assess potential roof damage where the gutter is apparently separating from the roof. The technician came out promptly, assessed the situation, and recommended that there was no work to be done at this time, but to keep an eye on it. He also pointed out a tree that was growing too close to the roof and could cause damage with snow. There was no charge for the visit. I sincerely appreciate the professionalism, promptness, and ethical treatment!! I will absolutely use this company again.

Vaery happy with our roof repair! Bill was great! Great communication! We had a patch where the crazy wind stripped the shingles, but he quickly came and put a temporary patch before the snow so we didnt have any leaks. When the snow melted he was in contact with me to get it fixed. He also fixed a few shoddy things left from other roofers prior.
