Best service technician experience of my life with Lion Home Service! I recently had an emergency issue on a Sunday night and my service tech, DJ, arrived almost immediately! He went to exceptional lengths to figure out the burning smell coming from my house, including going into a 100 degree attic to check the attic fan and electrical wires. Turns out the burning smell, had nothing to do with my heating and air system, but DJ continued to help me locate it to the dishwasher. They don’t do dishwashers, but he recommended and set me up with help for that. While he was up in the attic, he noticed the fan temp setting was not correct and corrected it and also let me know the Insulation was 8-10 centimeters lower than needed and asked if that floor gets really hot and cold? Which made perfect sense and had been an ongoing issue. He was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, wonderful with my dogs and pets and even put booties over his shoes so he didn’t track anything in the house! He was thorough and checked every possible source for the smell and continued to help me even when he found out it was not something in their line of work. As a single mom, the peace of mind he gave me knowing the house wouldn’t catch fire made for a peaceful nights sleep! Would recommend DJ in a heartbeat and will continue to use them since a trustworthy, hardworking technician who goes above and beyond is priceless! Highly recommend this company and request DJ, you will be very satisfied.

Tanner was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He did arrive within the window time albeit toward the end and finished up around 6 pm. Not a problem for us but may be for some. Lion home services and Dylan the electrician are amazing. Set up service was quick and easy through their website. They even called me to say they had an electrician available earlier than my appointment. communication was awesome. Dylan was on time, very professional and solved my mystery short problem. Wonderful person to talk to while the work was being done and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done correctly. I would happily have him and Lion perform work in my home anytime.

Nick was very knowledgeable about my furnace that is 7 yrs old and needed a cleaning plus a new filter. He was very careful about not tracking in dirt from outside. I felt very comfortable with him in my home and I want Lion Home Service to know they are very lucky to have such a great employee. Nick knows how to do his job and is very good at explaining what needs to be done and how to accomplish the task at hand. Thanks Nick. It was a pleasure and I will ask for you in the future.

An awful Thanksgiving eve experience!! This company has zero skill and just want your money. They lied about the initial charges, they could not fix the furnace, lied about the problem with the furnace as the tech had no idea what is wrong with it, so he had to come up with a lie. Just seeing him and talking to him it was obvious he has no clue what he was doing!!!(Tony). Awful, awful!!! After this ordeal my friend came over after the tech left and fixed the furnace in less than 30 minutes.

A summary of my experience with Lion is their technicians were good but their billing overcharged by at least a few thousand dollars and were unresponsive to my requests to fix it.After using a different service for our boiler initially, I really wanted to leave Lion Home Services a great review when I tried them and found they were more responsive, had less expensive regular and after-hours service fees, and generally good techs. After I feel I was overcharged by a few thousand dollars though, I can't do that in good conscience.I had to call Lion out three times for a boiler issue. At one of these visits the technician disconnected a sensor which was causing problems. Unfortunately this subsequently caused the system to overload and a few other parts to stop functioning(I'm oversimplifying a bit). My tenants were without hot water for a few days while a different technician diagnosed and troubleshot the issue. Luckily it was during the summer so they didn't need heat.I later got a bill for more than $4k to repair a boiler that was in the first few years of life. They charged me by the hour for the entire time they spent diagnosing the issue they themselves had initially caused by disconnecting instead of replacing the sensor. I tried working with a "K Smith" in billing who was totally unwilling to listen to my points, overdrafted my credit card, and never responded to emails once she got payment. Would not recommend.

My experience with LHS was highly unprofessional. When my waste line backed up into my house I called LHS because of their positive reviews, and professional looking website/vehicles. However be warned, if your repair requires any excavation or construction and are seeking to get insurance involved LOOK ELSE WHERE. The project manager Zack Demare seemed great at first providing estimates and being helpful saying insurance may be able to help, however once it came time to get any information regarding the repair for insurance purposes he became highly unprofessional, and dodged my emails. Insurance asked for a plumbers report and itemized receipt, still to this day I have not received one and my insurance denied my claim because LHS would not provide the correct documents. LHS says they don't do those... If I spend $15K with your company you should provide some summary of the work that was completed. In fact they tried to charge me for a service that wasn't performed but was listed in the estimate. Zack was not helpful when I confronted him about it, in fact he was very unprofessional about the matter, only responding, "we did that sir". I had to contact customer service to get that extra charge removed from my bill. The customer service team was great, however it doesn't make up for the lack of customer service elsewhere in the company.Outside of communication with the project manager when it came time to do the repairs inside the home they took no precautions to protect the flooring surrounding the dig site. They piled concrete and dirt on my flooring, stepping on it and it scratched the sh!t out of my floor. When I confronted the workers about it they said they didn't know how the floor could have been saved... its called a tarp! Now I have to replace more flooring than I would have had to because of their carelessness.Don't be fooled they don't care about you or your home, all they care about is cutting corners and collecting the money.

I call to get a To get an estimate on a tankless water heater and the gentleman was very nice very thorough. How to smile very professional I would have to give him a 10 and would recommend him. for any kind of a job that he does even though I did not have him do the job the price was a little bit expensive. If the price was a little bit cheaper, I would’ve had him do the job and my husband also was very pleased with his service and thought he was very professional and a very nice gentleman

Plumbing: 5/5Electrical Work: 2/5Price: 1/5Andy Wolf (plumber) was great and we hired them because he caught issues none of the previous plumbers did.They require you to pay before it’s permitted.. And they are really expensive. Then take 8 weeks to issue the permit.: It takes 1-3 days to get a permit from the city and another day to get an inspection. There is no reason it should take them this long.Electrical service wasn’t up to code. They didn’t have anyone else at the company to validate the work when it was done, as you’d see at other electrical companies.I had their number blocked because of 3rd party solicited spam calls that wouldn’t stop a few years prior. I thought they weren’t calling me back for quite some time.

Gabe is awesome. He came over immediately when a house inspector questioned some of the work that Lions did last year. He explained everything very well and had a solution for resolving the questioned issue. Gabe is punctual, professional, friendly and I will always contact Gabe if I ever have a problem. Nobody wants to hear their hot water heater start spraying water at 10:00 pm, but Lion Home Service made the repairs a breeze and they did so with staff that were some of the nicest, most helpful, and most professional people I’ve ever worked with. Everyone from their dispatch team to the actual repair technicians were amazing, and we had everything fixed the next day (for a very reasonable price). Shoutout to Taylor L. for actually fixing everything and Andy W. for his help stabilizing the situation late at night when I first called in.We will ABSOLUTELY be using this company again if the need ever arises, and you should too.

I had heard stories of older people taken advantage of by this company and I wish I could have passed along a warning before a very close family member called them in need of a repair. They told her she would be charged $29 for a visit from a professional. The person was unprofessional, seemingly untrained, and did not have answers to her questions. He told her the only option for her leaky faucet was to remove her brand new faucet (which she had saved for several months to purchase) along with large pieces of copper pipe that had just been installed properly by a certified plumber. He installed a plastic faucet, took the copper pipes with him, and left her with a bill for $989, which is more than her social security every month. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.So, the company said I could call them and customer service was actually terrible. The plastic faucet they installed was cheaply made, but they DO NOT itemize the bill AND they never gave the senior discount. When I asked WHY they did not give the discount, they claim the customer must REQUEST the discount. What a joke. Poor service and overpriced.

1/18/24 - met yet another of the Lion team; Scott. He came out to do yet another step to ensure this job was 100% complete.Like the others we've met, Scott was extremely pleasant and professional. He stepped in our house with a smile on his face and just happy to be helping us. He explained the process he was performing and made sure we were good with his visit and the work he was there to complete. Someone commented on our review that they hadn't heard anything good about this company, we could not be more pleased with their services.Thank you Scott, Matt, Chad, Gabriel, Charity and (the other) Matt!1/17/24 - Met another Matt on Tuesday morning, Matt Moore, who got here early, he and his crew went straight to work. Matt was very professional and friendly. He, Chad and Gabriel were all very kind putting up with our barking dog. They finished up later today, replacing pipe, filling in cement and cleaning everything up before they left. We highly recommend Matt, he is most definitely an asset to the Lion Home Service family.1/14/24:We met Matt this morning who came to check on our plumbing issues. He was extremely nice and very professional and knowledgeable. We appreciate that he was super friendly to our grand-puppy. Because of his concern with our situation, he called in charity, the project manager who came in to Greeley from fort Collins, which was very much appreciated especially cuz it's a Sunday morning. She arrived and did an inspection with Matt. She too was very professional and knowledgeable. We have signed up with them and have very good expectations with this company because of their representations. I would definitely recommend them. Once our job is done with them, hopefully in the next day or two I will leave another review. Let you know how that went.
