Exceptional service by the project manager, office, and roofing crew. My insurance did not want to pay for all the work that was needed. John negotiated to have my roof and outbuildings fully repaired, re-roofed and brought up to code. Great prompt communication with the office and roofing crew supervisor. If I could give John Anderson more than 5 stars I would. He is a direct communicator, does what he promises and does a great job. He helped our family with a difficult roofing replacement circumstance. He assisted us with the insurance company to replace our family's roof prior to a first big snow storm of the season. We unfortunately inherited this company because the previous owners of our home used them to replace the roof and the warranty was transferred to us. It took them over a month to respond to a message that was a yes or no answer. We’re selling our home and needed them to come check the roof to replace some tiles. They came one day and didn’t bring a tall enough ladder. They were supposed to come out the next day, and they never showed! They didn’t respond to my husband’s texts to see if they were still coming out. I would never want to use this company! Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with.

A roof inspection while our house was up for sale revealed damage to our "hail-resistant" roof that had occurred during a hailstorm years earlier. We needed our roof replaced quickly. John Anderson came out to check our roof and quickly sent us an estimate, plus he was able to get us scheduled within about a week. John also handled a very difficult and unexpected problem with solar panels on our roof that had to be removed and reinstalled to finish the roof. My experience with this company was great. David was very good to work with. They dealt with my insurance company, I only talked to the adjuster once initially. They even met with the insurance adjuster while I was at work. Painless. It only cost me my deductible and looks awesome. They even painted my plumbing vents to match the shingles! John with Severe Weather Roofing was professional from beginning to end. He went above and beyond to get the insurance company to pay for the wind and hail damage to my roof. The first 2 roofing companies I worked with stopped all contact with me once the insurance company denied my claim. John knows his building codes and was able to get the insurance company to pay. Once the claim was approved, Severe Weather Roofing was quick to get me on their schedule and get my roof replaced. Jason Sullivan knocked on my door because he was in the area. Very knowledgeable and thorough inspection of my roof. I got a bit worried as he helped me file a claim, then strongly recommended he be present to ensure that we get full value from insurance, and asked me to sign paperwork to commit to his company so he could speak for my insurance coverage. I felt a bit pressured and reached out to close friends. None of them had worked with Severe Weather Roofing. This is not a negative review. I would prefer a few more questions up front to determine if I'm the type of person to sign-up with a person I just met for a large project.

Severe Weather Roofing has been INCREDIBLE. They truly are our heros! We had a terrible experience with our previous roofers, got scammed and had lots of home damage from the previous faulty installation. Severe Weather (John was our direct contact) came in, empathetically supported us through the entire process of inspecting and redoing our roof. They went above and beyond in their support of us to get our home back in shape and deal with the ramifications of our previous roofers. They jobsite was immaculate the whole time, the roofers did a wonderful job, they used very high quality materials, explained everything in an easy sense, worked extremely well with insurance, and were so nice to do business with. John in particular was our "MVP" (most valuable player). Ken had the supplies delivered the night before the install so the supplies weren't sitting on the roof for days. The roof was done in one day. The roofers did a great job cleaning up they even vacuumed my driveway and deck. They also did my gutters they look great too. In July, we sustained hail damage to our roof, siding and gutters. A friend highly recommended Severe Weather Roofing and knowing someone with prior experience with this company was helpful. I called SWR and John Anderson was out the next day to assess the damage and needed repairs. We received hail damage to 3 homes in Windsor Colorado in July 2018. We had 2 homes that had to be re-shingled in 2011 and we had Severe Weather Roofing of Fort Collins do the job for us. We were very happy with the job done in 2011 and did not even consider contacting anyone else. Soon after contacting Severe Weather Roofing in September 2018 Derek Antonucci came out to our house and inspected all 3 of our houses here in Windsor. Derek was very professional and very helpful throughout the entire process. I had several interactions with Amber in the Office and Andrew as we worked through the process of getting the work done. They were all very helpful and pleasant in every interaction we had. The crews who did the work were excellent. They were efficient getting the jobs done in one day in each case. They were very clean and when the jobs was done I could not see any signs of roofing debris on the ground. I think I found 2 nails over the next several days. I am very happy with Severe Weather Roofing and will use them again in the future if/when it is necessary.

My husband Chuck and I contacted Severe Weather Roofing. Joel Brown was very quick to respond and kept in touch with me throughout the entire process. Even though my insurance co denied my claim SWR gave me an excellent price on my roof. It was very aged and in dire need of replacement. The crew showed up within 2 weeks. In one day the roof was complete and my gutters were on the very next day. I was delighted with the workmanship and the quality of the materials. We had a great experience with this company. They were very responsive and very detailed with the answers to our questions. The team that came out to put on the roof was very professional and worked diligently to put the roof on. Derek at Severe Weather Roofing was awesome to work with and went out of his way to get our roof covered through insurance even when we didn't think that was going to be possible. He came by our house multiple times to help explain the process and touch base with us on the progress of the project and was always quick to get back with us when we called. Although it took a little longer to complete our roof, I attribute this to the unusual roof type we were dealing with (tar and gravel) and welcoming our first baby right smack in the middle of it all which pumped the breaks for a little bit. Our new roof is one million times better than our old one and we are grateful to Derek for making it happen. The contractor also did a great job getting it done quickly once the materials arrived and didn't leave any mess after completion.

This was my first roof replacement and I was pleasantly surprised at how stress-free it was. Everyone I met with was courteous, professional, and really quick to get the work done. My insurance company was apparently a larger pain than most, but even when they were difficult, I never had to get involved and I never had to pay more than my deductible. I even got $250 off because my neighbors decided to use them too, which was a nice surprise. The work was completed about a month ago and I'm very happy with the end result. I would absolutely recommend this team for future roof repair (though I hope I don't have to think about that for many years to come now...!).
