I received effective ation along the way as to the progress of my mitigation and the next steps they would be taking. On top of all this, they advocated on my behalf with my insurance company to make sure I received, an adequate payout that would allow me to restore my kitchen back to its original state. Recently our water heater decided it did not want to hold water anymore and let loose all over our mechanical closet and garage. We just finished an ADU that was right next to where the water heater was and I was very worried about the new drywall and flooring being damaged. I called 1-800 Water Damage and they were able to get a crew out to my house right away to take a look at the damage. When they arrived there was still water all over the floor and it was soaked into the drywall and framing. They sucked up all the water, and set up their fans and dehumidifiers and even put up plastic around the damaged area to dry everything out. they had to cut the drywall in one spot and remove some insulation. They saved all the materials in my new ADU!!! They had the equipment set up for a few days to get everything dry. They accommodated my plumbers to work around it so they could replace the water heater. They helped me with the insurance claim process by talking directly to my adjuster and all I had to pay was my deductible. 1-800 Water Damage made this bad situation very easy and I knew I could go to work each day and not worry about it. They were very trustworthy and I felt comfortable giving the technicians my garage code so they could go in to check the equipment each day. Brandon and Tyler were great to work with!! We have a rental property in Grand Junction and our tenants notified us that the bathroom had flooded. The team at 1-800 water damage was able to get on site very quickly and assist our tenants. My laundry and utility room were flooded due to a backup in the pipe that flows from the house to the septic tank. The water flowed into the basement/crawl space soaking the floor and insulation. This happened on a Saturday. I was so pleased when Daniel and Scotty from 1-800-water damage arrived on Monday to assess the damage and begin the clean-up process. Throughout the 8 day process, I had numerous interactions with Scotty and Daniel. They were so professional and truly seemed to care about my problems. They explained all the work that needed to be done in a clear and concise manner. On the day when they did most of the removal of the damaged flooring and drywall, they were here well beyond a typical work day. They stayed until all was completed. Much of my phone contact was with Daniel. He kept me informed with updates on the progress and when the would be arriving. They even stopped to pick up a roll offlooring material so that I wouldn't need to make the 2 hour trip to Grand Junction. I was so happy to be working with these fine young men. Ps. 1-800 Water Damage finished drying out our crawl space after a local plumbing companies water remediation effort failed. The water mitigation technician, left our crawl space to dry out on it’s own. After a recommendation from our local realtor I called 1-800 Water Damage. 1-800 Water Damage’s technician showed up with the proper equipment ( unlike the local plumbing company) and got to work setting up. When his equipment was not pulling the moisture out fast enough, he upped the guns and brought extra water extractors. The technician kept me updated daily on the dry out process. Overall this company has excellent customer service, the proper water mitigation equipment and even worked directly with my insurance company for payment. I highly recommend this company.

In a recent monsoon storm, our church experienced flooding in the basement. Brandon came out at our request to assess and advise and did something that few companies will do: he actually said we didn't need professional mitigation! He offered helpful tips on making sure everything was dried out and noted where there were some things to consider for the future, but there was no pressure. As a small church, it means a lot when we find someone who's supportive and who really wants to make sure we have what we need.

Full disclosure, I work for this company. However, I have had to use the services of my employer on two seperate occasions. Once when I purchased my home and there was water in the crawl space and again a few months ago when my upstairs toilet supply line leaked and water came down into my kitchen, dining room, and family room. First and foremost the people are amazing, professional and trustworthy. So why 3 stars instead of 5?We had pipes backup. Impacted areas were a laundry room, one wall of a pantry and minor issues with a bathroom — no repairs just cleaned.They never talk price or what they can and can’t do. They just start doing stuff — I guess they just assume insurance was going to pay for it. At first they wanted to tear the entire kitchen out, tons of tile etc. I had to step in or it would be a disaster.So they ran the fans for a couple days and cut out some drywall. Cleaned up. Not sure how many hours they were physically here, but it wasn’t much. Over $3,000 later they were done with the clean up phase and gave us a bid of over $4000 to do the minor drywall repairs etc.What’s worse is they had told the plumbers not to replace the fixtures (plumbers were covered by AHS warranty) so now we need to place a second call and have a second service charge.I go back to the people being great. But I feel like they could have worked more with us, discussed pricing etc.
