We had a pipe break between the floors from the upstairs bathroom to the downstair bathroom. We lost both bathrooms in the process. Mitigation process went fast. My entire basement was filled with our belongings such as washer and dryer, toilet, and vanity parts.My only problem I had with RTC was that they seemed to be over booked and not enough workers. We waited months for the basement bathroom reconstruction. The communication between the office and the workers seems to be limited which made things slower in the process.Ryan and Dean were always on time, Courteous of our living space, always walked us through what needed to happen. Ryan and Dean would reach out if we needed to change something because the thing we bought didn't fit. They never did work without telling us about it first. They were clean when working, and always cracking jokes to lighten the mood after loosing the bathroom. They did beautiful work and always checked on things we didn't think weren't working right. Ryan and Dean will be doing my upstairs bathroom and look forward to working with them again!

Definitely do not use this company. I had a flood in my basement. They took asbestos samples of tile that would not need to be touched because they were covered by carpet. The carpet needed to be dried out, baseboards needed to be replaced. They wanted $25,000 because the tile under the carpet tested positive for asbestos and they wanted to do an asbestos abatement. Another company finished the job they started and did it for $7750. These guys basically wanted to see what the insurance company would reimburse for and max it out.They also threw a razor in my toilet and made me fish it out. While they were at it, they dropped a few electrical cords in standing water, ruining them. When I wrote them and itemized my issues with them, no response.I cancelled my insurance company who recommended these fools and I’m cancelling them from anything else I need help with.Service: Flood cleanup

I am overwhelmingly disappointed with this company. In the beginning they were great at communicating but once the mitigation was completed I heard nothing. I attempted to contact Lindsay many times with no response. She did not care about my family at all and had Zero urgency for anything. I have had to live in a hotel for two months with my three kids and nothing has even been started. In fact the estimate was approved 3 weeks ago and now she is saying they don’t match and it needs to be reevaluated. When telling her we are no longer in need of her services and we have change companies she did not care even a little. It is clear that the company nor the customers are important to her. I can tell by all the other reviews that I am not alone in this experience. The owner of this company needs to evaluate his employee.I literally never leave bad reviews. I understand that we are all human and have bad days, but TWO Months!

This company was like family, only very professional! I had water damage from the unit above my laundry room/living room, so ceiling, walls and carpet were damaged. All workers wore masks (which put my mind at ease), were polite, and on time. I live in the extreme SW corner of the Denver metro area, and while they had quite a drive from Johnstown, CO... they were on time every day!!First of all I want to send a shout out to Sabra Taylor who was my account manager. She is such a pleasant person to work with and always had time to understand my specific situation. She was a joy to work with and was the calm voice I needed during what was a stressful situation for me.The speedy reaction from the Mitigation Team was amazing! They had 6 industrial fans and humidifiers in my home within hours of calling! Each morning Andrew and Scott were here promptly at 8:00 am to rearrange fans and test for moisture until all was dry.Next was the actual damage repair to the dry wall. Hats off to Dean as he sectioned off the area with plastic sheeting, repaired the ceiling and walls, and matched and purchased paint and was out before 2pm! What a pleasant person! It felt like having my son here to help (I am a single senior and have no family in town!). The job was very professional and ready for painters who arrived the next morning!Fosters Carpet Care & Repair arrived the day after painting was done and I can't say enough about these guys! I've had my carpets cleaned before, but not like this. These two did an amazing job. Of course they need to stretch it first, then steam cleaned my carpet. The were in and out quickly. I will use them again for sure!After everything was finished, Dean and co-worker arrived to replace my washer/dryer into the very tight laundry room. I was thrilled to have my home put back in order. We are selling a condo in Fort Collins and I noticed some water damage on the ceiling. I contacted the HOA and they sent RTC out to look at it. We were concerned about the time this might take since we are trying to get the unit on the market. RTC got right on it and had the job done in minimum amount of time and did an excellent job. Lindsey and Dean did a great job completing the repairs. The mitigation folks did a great job to but I didn't get the names. Great people to deal with.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

RTC was assigned to us from our insurance company after we had a kitchen fire. They were supposed to contact me within 1 hour of the claim being filed and never heard from them. I proceeded to call over 10 times and left countless voicemails. I didn’t hear from them until 5 days after our fire. They came out and took maybe 4 pictures of our kitchen..didn’t measure anything and left. They had another company come out and poke holes in our walls to measure combustible material..we haven’t heard one word from either company. We’re coming up on 2 weeks since our incident and we’ve had to start our whole claim over with a new company.I’m so disappointed on so many levels with so many things through out this whole process but if I could direct my anger at any other company besides our insurance company RTC is probably at the top of the listUnprofessional, Unresponsive.

RTC was recommended by my insurance company. They preformed an fine job of mitigation. However for the restoration they told us they were three months out and we had to wait. Since that timeline didn't work for us we cancelled their service and completed the work with other contractors. They were paid by the insurance company for the mitigation portion of the work. They have now attempted to file a lien for the full value of the estimate. This is completely unprofessional and dishonest. My neighbor had her water heater break and all of the water in the tank came pouring through my ceiling. I called my Insurance Company and they sent out RTC Restoration to start drying out my Home. They were there within a couple of hours after I called. They were professional and explained everything to my satisfaction. I was very impressed with their service and commitment. I will highly recomend them to anyone needing these services in the future.

Dean and Ryan are amazing! They did the drywall repair after my ceiling had been cut open to dry after some flooding that happened from my neighbors above me. Horrible company said they have the ability to handle projects that they are not able to . do not trust this business. we had a water line brake in a 8000+ sq house I called talk to rtc they said no problem we have plenty of guys to get you dryer out no worries at all . we were out of town on vacation. my cousin was watching our house. she ended up cooking food for the worker od rtc as they had been working for 14 hours with out food . they set up equipment ate my food and left . this was Friday evening. sat no show Sunday no show. I called rtc repeatedly until I got some one to answer . she was nice but informed me the would not be back for 1 to 2 weeks . I let her no this was unexpected. we had 28" of insolation in our attic that had to be removed . and to come get equipment. we would not pay for any more time on their equipment. she said we don't have thr man power to pick it up for a while. I let her no we had un plugged it all and would place it in our garage. this was a covered expense buy our home owners insurance. on the fowling Monday I left voice mails for owner to call me but he never did we sent the bill to our adjuster to get paid . I never heard from any one at RTC but I did get put in collections and threatened to have a lean on my house why we were trying to get them paid . insurance findly paid them but rtc has not let collections no they are paid in full. so we are having out credit messed up bu a business who failed to do a job they said they could do but did not . i told one of the owners he can either give my money back or tell his collection company that insurance paid them . I recived another letter today from collections. this business is horrible . they lie they don't do the job . then they try to reck your credit and lean your home why they wait for insurance. just so every one knows. Allfase made it over on Sunday set up equipment took mold and espestas test . had 2 full crewsover by Tuesday and striped out all tge insolation and drinched drywall . they waited for insurance to pay them and kelp in communication. threw out the prosses. CALL Allfase . they fo 100% better work

We had RTC Restoration and Renovation come to our home in October of 2020 to perform mitigation of water damage from a leaking kitchen drain. We were denied on our insurance claim and were responsible for payment of a bill for over $7,000. We paid half of the bill in December, with the understanding that we could pay the other half in January.At that time, we had not received an itemized bill for what exactly was done, and it took quite some time to get one, involving a lengthy email exchange. When we did, we found items and services that we had either not received or seemed inflated. We estimate they charged us about $1700 for items and services either never received, or were vastly over-inflated for what they were.They got hostile when we requested a review of these charges, and threatened us with a lien if we didn't pay up in full immediately. We also were mistakenly sent an email the owner sent to his account manager that was incredibly rude and hostile. They tried repeatedly to recall sending it, but too late.We don't understand why they took this tack when a simple review and some adjustments could've solved the problem. For instance, a sheet of plastic thrown over a desk was called an "Containment Barrier/Airlock/Decon Chamber", and it cost us $174. They claimed to have used mold mitigation substances, but no mold was ever found. They charged us for moving a stove, that in fact, never got moved. And so on.In any event, to avoid hassling with these people any longer, we paid off the balance. In the meantime, we've filed a complaint with the BBB and the state Attorney General's office.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Water and mold damage. This company has very bad communication with customer. Never called or said when they were coming back to finish job. We had to call multiple times. Lindsay in the office says she will see what's going on with job about three different times never did and always acted like she didn't know that we were waiting for job to get finished. The job has been done now for about 10 days and they still have not gotten all there supplies from the home. Also they damaged some of our furniture took pics and never called to say what they are going to do about it. One of there employees told us he HATES working for them and gets yelled at by every customer because the customers are mad about not getting jobs done in a timely manner and poor communication. When down a room in your house it is very inconvenient and just to know a time line would have been helpful! FYI Chad I rent this home your customer would be the home owner and you can leave your personal number and I would be happy to call you, I have tried calling your office at least 10 times.

My insurance company had RTC come out and take care of a water damage problem for mitigation. They were supposed to finish out the whole job with me. After they got their fans I never heard from them. I had to reach out again and again to ask for a bill, ask what my next step was. All i got was harsh unprofessional responses that they didnt know who i was, then that it was my insurance guys fault, and that they needed to see MY estimate first...? Absolutely ridiculous. After many attempts to get them out again, they showed up late and I wasnt home after waitingan extra hour. Again, I had to reach out to them asking what was going on? Whats the next step? She said tneyd have a floor guy reach out. Again, nothing. So i reached out...again and this is when they then told me they didnt want to work wtih me and i should find someone else. This company has some of the worst customer service and communication skills. I am now left with a bathroom thats down to the subfloor and no toilet for the last month and a half waiting on them. My living situation hasnt been ok because of this. Must be nice to be so busy you can have such bad customer service and just turn jobs down you started and didnt finish.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Our basement flooded with 4ft of water from a broken hose bib. RTC was at our house in less than an hour. They were able to remove the water, drywall, insulation and had the basement completely rebuilt in less than 3 weeks! They did a great job and highly recommend!

We had hail damage on our home in Ft. Collins and our insurance company gave us a list of 4 roofing contractors that they have worked with in the past. We chose RTC. We did have some issues with the overall project but in the end, Mike O'brien and Ryan did what they said they would do and were very professional in closing out the project with us, which I really appreciated.

Reviewing work done for my elderly mother.The Good:They were there within an hour and a half during a crisis. Did the job.The Bad: She received a huge bill for mitigation services without any itemized details. We then had to ask for and finally got the itemized details, one example is $669 for 6 fans and a dehumidifier(unmonitored for 6 days) to dry concrete (once the laminate floor was ripped up). Seems like overkill for a small affected area (approx. 215 sq feet). Her concern about that specific detail cost was never responded to. There is more to the story, but I will leave it at that.Advice: You may need them in a crisis and they will promptly be there, but DO ABSOLUTELY get other bids for the reconstruction.

Sketchy people. A crew came out for basic carpet removal. They went through my drawers and stole a bunch of my personal belongings. Then they blamed it all on one guy.(even though it was too much for one guy to carry) the rest of them said they didn't notice anything. They fired the new guy on a technicality because he failed a drug test. They wouldn't even give me names of the guys on the crew for the police report. All they cared about after the incident was getting the job done and getting out of there. They even brought a cop to make sure I didn't interfere with their job, because I told them they couldn't come in the house, even though it was the same guys on the crew that stole my stuff( my stuff is still missing). I wouldn't let them in your home if I were you.

My toilet flooded the main level and basement of my house. Not just regular toilet water, but what was referred to as black water. RTC was extremely professional and kind from the very beginning in what I considered a very embarrassing and disastrous situation. There was a lot of work that needed to be done to my house to remove the water and repair the extensive damage. RTC did an exceptional job, worked in a timely and efficient manner and to top it off, my house looks AMAZING!

Read the other reviews this company is terrible currently fighting with them because they overcharged me and staff is very rude. Lindsay up front at the office Says people call you back but they don’t they just bill hoping the insurance companies will pay for it when you’re paying out-of-pocket they don’t care. They threaten to put a lien on my house I told them I’ll pay with for the work that you guys did or wait and explain to a judge about this shady company. I have surveillance cameras in and out of my house showing unplugged equipment that I was charged for and showing exactly how long this equipment was used for they will not get one over on me. Please do your research and see other reviews.
