This is a low-budget, shabby operation. Scott came to the house, took a quick look, and gave a quote. The next day some workers showed up and ripped up some things and nailed down some things and quickly said “we’re outta here.” Then it rained. Water came pouring in. A frantic call to Bon-Steel got a message “We’ll be there in the morning.” They came and gooped roofing tar on leaking parts. This is not a solution. And Scott refused to come to the house and inspect. We paid a lot of money for the shabbiest of fixes. Now I have to get another company to fix their crummy work. Our advice - stay as far away from Bon-Steel as you can.

Scott responded immediately to a request for a quote. We had unsealed siding that caused a leak into our bathroom. He came out within the hour, gave us a reasonable quote, came the next day and completed the work quickly before the next snow. He was friendly and efficient. Glad we found him.

I have used Scott twice. Once for repairing my roof and also for cleaning out my dryer vent and he has been terrific. Very reasonably priced, very responsive and just an all-around good guy.
