TRUE LANDSCAPE ARTISTS! We are now enjoying our backyard to its fullest. We purchased our house knowing a backyard project was needed and after a few years, we got underway. Couldn't be happier with selecting ArtScapes. They have a wonderful team that are masters at what they do. As you can imagine, there are a lot of obstacles thrown at a large "construction" project like this. They performed the unimaginable to get it done. Entire team was great to work with, Joe, Nick, Ashton, but the crew doing the hard work was impressive. Viktor, Viktor Jr. and Jose crushed it! They showed up everyday early and got done late, hit milestones each day. We are forever grateful. We were hesitant to go all in on a project like this because of price, length of time, etc. but it was worth the investment. We couldn't have gotten a better end result anywhere else. Artscapes Landscape and Design did an AMAZING job for me. We did have some initial delay in starting the project due to their heavy workload and lots of rain in May. Once the project began, however, I was totally amazed at how quickly and efficiently Tom Roach, Field Manager, Sergio, Field Supervisor, and especially Sergio’s crew, completely transformed the front of my house from an eyesore to a thing of beauty. Once they got to work, I had absolutely nothing but praise for the work they did, especially given that they were working on my project on the hottest days of the 2021 thus far. They started on a Friday, came back on Monday after the weekend and the entire job was completed by that Thursday, so less than a week. Now my house looks pretty in both the day and night, with the cool path lighting and up-lighting for the trees built into the design and implemented by Artscapes. I can’t wait to have Artscapes start drawing up a plan for my backyard for next year! Amazing job. We had our entire front yard landscaped. Ashton was quick with communication and any questions I had. Our yard is gorgeous and I couldn't believe how quickly they got it done. Would highly reccomend to anyone looking to redo their yard. So excited to see our new flowers and plants too as they begin to grow and mature.

I started working with a landscape designer in February on a new backyard design. We were just finalizing the plan in June when the designer stopped responding to my emails and calls despite being very responsive previously. I reached out to both the owner and manager and was told that the designer no longer worked for the company. I told them I was ready to sign a contract to get started on our backyard but never heard back.

We chose Artscapes to landscape our property because we liked their designer and her style. For the most part, her vision for the plantings turned out well, though she has since left the firm. The weak links with this firm are its workmanship and and the owner’s (Ashton) business ethics.First, as part of our project, they graded our backyard and laid sod. Their grading resulted in a shallow dip in the middle 1/4 of the yard in which water pooled and so which was perpetually soggy. They came back out at our request to fix this grading. Though a new backyard should be able to be made flat with a slight grade to let water run away from the house, their final “fixed” product is a dry but undulating mess.Second, several of the sprinkler heads would continually leak water even when the irrigation was off. This resulted in boggy spots on the property. Artscapes’ irrigation expert tried to fix this problem several times and said it was fine when he couldn’t fix it. We ultimately had to bring out a different firm who fixed the problem in one visit.Finally, we noticed that the plants in one of the irrigation zones seemed to get variable amounts of water, with several of the plants in the zone drying out and dying. We later found that when their irrigation crew originally hooked up to an existing pipe that ran under our driveway to run this zone, they neglected to cap an access point to the pipe. So whenever this zone ran, some of the water would go to the plants but much would drain out into the ground from the uncapped pipe. We found this when water leaked into our finished basement because the ground became so saturated from this repeated draining from the uncapped pipe. When we told Ashton about this, his response (only after ignoring our repeated contacts for three months) was that since they didn’t lay the existing pipe, they wouldn’t warrant the work. We didn’t ask them to use the existing pipe, the pipe only leaked because their crew didn’t cap it, and they certainly didn’t discount the original project because they used the existing pipe rather than having to run their own pipe under the driveway, but Ashton felt it was still our problem.There are too many other landscape firms around to support that kind of mentality and be left footing the bill for their shoddy workmanship.Services: Rock landscaping, Landscape installations, Yard landscaping, Sod installation, Landscape design, Yard drainage, Landscaping design

I worked with Matt from Artscapes to landscape my front and back yard. He worked with me to get the most out of my limited budget and I cannot be happier with the results! His communication was stellar, and he was very patient and honest in his evaluation of my ideas and what was realistic. The work crew and site manager, Tom, were all friendly and hardworking. I had new sod laid in front and back, the irrigation system upgraded, a concrete patio poured, and side yard and back yard parking areas created. I've received many compliments on the improvements and I highly recommend Artscapes.

I am so happy with the flagstone patio work by Ashtons crew. This project transformed our backyard space. The crew’s attention to detail and pride in their work showed start to finish. And everyday was well cleaned and organized.I am a commercial builder and almost always do my own work so calling me a perfectionist is fair. Then for me to hire someone for one of my projects was a difficult choice. Getting the quality I expect from Artscapes was, for me, liberating.You can count on Ashton to be helpful, responsive, and to care about your satisfaction.

They did a fantastic job. They built a patio, with fire pit, and removed multiple trees. They lined up the city to inspect on time, and they had six story cottonwood tree removed from the yard with ease as well as two dying apple trees. I have my yard back! Ashton and his crew were on top of everything and got the job done quickly. They completely renovated my patio and put into a paverstone patio which looks awesome. I will definitely be using them for future projects and have already referred them to a work colleague.

1st class crew owned and operated by a first class local businessman, Ashton Tucker. We have hired Artscapes several times over the years on our way to transforming a half acre back yard into an outdoor “experience”. Ashton has been a true project manager, helping us determine the scope of each stage of the project, casting vision to give us ideas we hadn’t thought of, and keeping the project on a time and cost-conscious deadline. Large outdoor patio, about 90 ft of retaining walls, 10 zone sprinkler system, thousands of square feet of sod, large moss rock, fire pit, planting dozens of trees with drip irrigation, building stone planters, installing walking paths; they’ve done it all and shown pride in their work, during and after projects were complete. One of our trees didn’t take and ended up dying about a year later - Ashton replaced it no questions. With all the other “joys” of property ownership, it’s been nice to not have to babysit my landscaper, just enjoy the results!

Artscapes did a great job on my parents’ backyard/patio area. It wasn’t exactly a sow’s ear before, but they transformed it into a silk purse. They now have a beautiful picnic setting of stone pavers exactly lined up with the existing patio. Morning coffee, anyone?
