Lawrence came to investigate a plumbing leak, and not only fixed the leaking toilet from the bathroom above, he repaired the ceiling, caulked a bathtub, made repairs to the roof to stop leaks that were damaging an exterior wall, and repaired and painted that wall. Lawrence did an excellent job installing my window air conditioner at my new apartment in Murray Hill. He was very nice and helpful. He was able to figure out how to fit my large air conditioner into a tight window and showed me how to take care of it. Highly recommended! Choice Green did a great job in the office, on short notice. We asked them to put up 3 televisions in under 48 hours after we called them. Not only did they find the mounts we wanted, they also purchased cord concealment that wasn't too bulky, and sat nicely on the wall. Lawrence confirmed the appointment promptly after we left the deposit. We will definitely contact them again for other Handyman work.

Great service! I called Choice Green Handyman Services in the morning and Lawrence was able to come out same day. He had my ac unit installed within minutes and was extremely professional. What I thought was going to be an issue with my ac unit turned out no problem at all due to Lawrence's expertise. I highly recommend him and definitely will be using him for future work.

Lawrence came to our office to fix our espresso machine. It was not draining properly due to being installed incorrectly by someone else. Lawrence had our machine up and running very quickly and resolved the draining problem. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, did the job exactly how we wanted it. I am doing renovations on my new apartment and started working with Lawrence to put in an air conditioner in to my lead panes window. Not an easy job and involved cutting in to the lead to make the unit fit. Lawrence did an AMAZING job. I now hire Lawrence as my go to guy. He put in a rotating tv mount and just hung some heavy pictures and mirrors and they are super secure. Lawrence is very knowledgeable and meticulous. He really cares about getting everything just perfect. Super great guy to work with. Next he is putting up a shelving system for me. I highly recommend Lawrence. He has that old school work ethic that is hard to find these days. You are in good hands with Lawrence!

We called for a heating issue (after having a different plumbing company come an actual 7 times in a row the previous year without fixing anything), and couldn't be happier. They came in promptly, put some actual thought around how the heating was installed and what could be causing the problem, and a couple of hours later all three of our radiators came to life for the first time since we moved into the apartment. Great service! We'll certainly be using them again for other repair jobs around the place.

I have been using Choice Green for years and they are extremely knowledgable and always do the best work. Recently, I had some trouble with a piece of furniture that my movers disassembled without the help of a professional. These guys were nice enough to put it back together after letting me know it's always best to have a professional, as opposed to movers, assemble and reassemble furniture. Had to get a plumber in at the last minute plumbing issue in out Air B&B rental, so in order to not have our guest cancel their reservation, after frantically calling more than a few plumbing services who weren't able to assist us on short notice, we found Lawrence, who was able to come within a few hours, and met our deadline, with an hour to spare. Cleaned up after the work was done, and had our sink back to normal.

I hired Lawrence to install two air conditioners in my grandmothers home. Being that I would not be around, I was apprehensive about hiring someone I would not see myself, but I have to say that I was very pleased with the service and timeliness of the job. Lawrence is great. Helped get a stuck toy, dumped into the toilet, from a bucket of mop water. He was able to get the toilet off efficiently, and didn't damage our expensive tile. Had our toilet back up and running in less than an hour, and charged less than the 3 licensed plumbers we called before we reached him. We will be calling him again.

After a few calls, I found Lawrence, and not only was the price reasonable, he showed me what the other contractors failed to do, in regards to setting the flange properly, which the previous apartment owners didn’t tell me about. Not many service providers bother to give you an explanation as to why something should be done, or priced a certain way. When we looked for a plumber to replace our cracked toilet, the quotes were all over the place. None of the other companies bothered to explain what may or may not be necessary regarding a flange reset, if it may be necessary, or if we were being charged for doing something like that.Choice Green stated what info they would need from us, to give an accurate quote, and what may happen once the toilet comes off, so we could make an assessment on what labor they were providing, and what any additional charge could arise from something that may be unforeseen.Based on the quotes we received before contacting them, we would have been grossly overcharged by any other plumbing service, or run into some kind of hidden tax on labor, had we not gotten the info we received from them.And they did an excellent job getting the new toilet in, while saving us money.

We hired Choice Green to split a room in our apartment. The wall is built at an okay standard and we feel overcharged for the end result. They took many breaks which caused the job to last two days longer than they predicted. The mess they left was terrible with dust everywhere from sanding down the wall. We didn't understand why they didn't bring some sort tarp to layover the floor in the very least. Various items were left behind including big chunks of sheet rock. They claimed they would clean behind themselves which was the total opposite. This job was done in a totally unprofessional manner.What takes the cake is Lawrence went back and forth to our bathroom, which we had no problem with him using but after the job was done, our toilet isn't working properly. We believed plaster was poured down there which has completely clogged our system. We certainly should be compensated for this inconvenience.At the end, I wouldn't recommend Lawrence to anyone.

Choice Green came in place of some Craigslist handyman I originally hired, due to the fact the Craigslist guy showed up late, on 2 separate occasions, both of which had me cancel the appointment I made with the them, because of the conflict with my schedule (and prior engagements I couldn't cancel).Choice Green came in and did an excellent job, but what helped me save some money, was the fact that they asked if the space was clear, or could be clear prior to their arrival to assemble our furniture, which it was, which helped them assemble the items much faster, as they were on an hourly rate. But the best part is, they showed up on time.

Having an air conditioner installed by a professional, can be a hassle, but the alternative is my building superintendent doing it, and damaging my air conditioner.Choice Green showed up the same day I called them, and not only gave me an excellent price, but showed me how to clean the filter, so my ac would run smoothly, without having to get it serviced every season.Thank you Lawrence. Lawrence is great! I thought my AC was full of mold or would need to be replaced. He came by and cleaned the machine and it is as good as new! No mold, musty smell is gone. I just have to keep the filter clean. He is friendly and nice and does a great job.

Jason was superb. I called him to see if he could remove a TV wall mount the previous owner left behind. It was tricky because there were no visible screws, but he figured it out within minutes. He also helped me deal with the mess of cables left in the wall. Aside from being capable and efficient, Jason was friendly, informative and courteous. I'd gladly hire him again.

Last week we woke up to find a large pool of water on the kitchen floor: apparently a faucet connected either to the dishwasher or the washing machine was leaking. A search on Yelp led us to Lawrence. He responded promptly and fortunately was able to come that very day.Sparing the details of the source of the leak, Lawrence was helpful and forthcoming about the problem, the fix, and the potential costs. The leak was dispatched with a long term fix. Additionally, he proved resourceful in restoring the kitchen to its original arrangement - not a small feat given how tightly designed it is.We found Lawrence to be professional, thorough, someone who clearly cares about his work and is very knowledgeable, it was a very positive experience.

Choice Green is a great choice (no pun intended) . Their work is shockingly great. They were fast and punctual upon arrival. They were neat with there work. Did the tv mounting in about 30 to 40 minutes. I've referred this company to a couple of friends and they got the same results. So my experience was a good one.
