Ate here for lunch with my husband and it was good! The pepperoni pizza was excellent. I can't speak for any of the other dishes offered, but I think most of these reviewers were expecting too much. It's a brewery. You should come for the beer, not the food.All the beer we tried was exceptional! They all had good flavors and satisfied our craft beer hankering!The decor is neat and it's a clean place. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The tables had umbrellas for shade and there was a water bowl for dogs. It's a great place to sit and relax while enjoying the mountain views for a while. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us great recommendations on which beer to try. I would recommend this brewery to all craft beer lovers!

Stopped in for lunch, the food was very good! We had a supreme pizza and some chicken tacos, both excellent! They have a full bar. We spent about $20 a person.

Great little Gem in Silverton, one road off the main drag and well worth the stop. Delicious pizza, their dough is something special, must be the water! Order the flight, you are in for a treat, mini ski boots, mini bindings on what in my opinion is a true shot ski setup!Update: The new location is fantastic! Right in the heart of main street! The dough ball appetizers are fantastic, be sure to get extra spicy jalapeno dipping sauce!

Wow! We didn’t have one bad thing here! Meathead pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly! Wings were good, Al Pastor tacos were delicious &service excellent!

Was very happy to find vegan options in Silverton! Avalanche Brewing Company came highly recommended. The thai wrap was filling and flavorful, and the carnitas wrap also got good reviews. We missed out on the pizza this time around, but heard that the dough is vegan and you can sub dairy free cheese on any pie. Order inside at the counter after being seated. Sit outside and enjoy the people watching!

The Super Hawaiian was a delicious pizza. The multiple different beers we drank were amazing! The service was also on point. I don't remember our servers name, but he was a Romanian work transfer and he was working his tail off. Stocking, serving, and whatever else he could do. He was amazing and they should be glad to have him while he is here. I will definitely hit this place back up when in Silverton!

This is a wonderful gem within Silverton. The beer selection was great. I had the Irish Stout on nitro and it was smooth and delicious. The pizzas were off the hook! Pictured are the pepperoni and neopolitano. Get the neopolitano. The pizza is perfect! Basil, pesto, tomato, and balsamic vinaigrette cooked on a perfect crust combine for serious flavor! If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely visit again

This was the first restaurant we visited on our weekend in Silverton. They had us order inside which I don’t know if it was a covid restriction or standard practice but it wasn’t an issue. The Carnitas Wrap was excellent. Tasted like an oversized Carnitas taco. The Moscow Mule was also solid. Outdoor dining was nice especially because the main street doesn’t have much traffic at night.

Pizza was very good! Good beer selection and the staff was on it. There was a wait and it was packed but this place was amazing for being all the way out in Silverton. They also have sandwiches, wraps, and other options. Highly recommend stopping by here.

Update: 5 to 4 (3 1/2) stars. They have moved. I like the old location better but totally understand the move from a business perspective. We went there a couple of times. They had a couple IPAs that I didn't care for. My wife found a fruity gose that tasted like a sour that we both enjoyed. Didn't order food this time but the pizza and street tacos are supposed to be good. I preferred the vibe at the other brewery this visit.1 1/2 years ago: Good beers and friendly service. Good vibe. They are known for their pizza, but I ordered the green chili chicken stew which was just okay. Cool maps on tables and walls.

The establishment was very clean and well kept, service was good. The food could have tasted way better for how much it cost. The pizza sauce has absolutely no flavor to it nor does the crust. The upside to the crust is that it does have a great crispy texture. But, for almost $20 for a 12 inch pizza, I expected it to taste better. My husband had tacos and they weren’t very good. The best tasting thing we ate were the appetizer cheese balls. They add their own gratuity, my husband didn’t notice that on the check (which was his mistake)but he had tipped her another %15. Based on other reviews it appears there are several complaints about the service and food not being good. I would not mind paying the price for the food if it was good food.

I really enjoyed coming here for dinner. The drinks were on point and mixed well. Whoever was making drinks this evening deserves a shoutout.The tacos were a little dry for my taste so they wouldn't be my first choice. The first choice for me is the pizza. We ordered Mac Daddy and it was great. We were not overly stuffed when leaving, just full and I like it when meals can strike that delicate balance. If you want something other than pizza, the wings were juicy and well coated in sauce.Would definetely come back if I'm in town again.

Food was fresh and hot but was bland & lacked taste. Service was decent. Beware the nickel & dime for everything, that includes to-go boxes and sauce cups that should be served with the food to begin with. Soda refills are limited and prices are far above what they should be for the area & for the quality of the food being served.

The el pastor tacos were amazing and only $8. Beer was a little more expensive here $7 a pint but far better crafted. Really some good craft beer. Bar service keeps you getting up and the covid distancing felt safe here. Great beer and Street tacos!

Such a cute brewery in Silverton! It was open in March while we were in Purgatory for skiing, so that was a big plus as a lot of places are closed still during their off season in Silverton. Such a clever way to use old skis with the wall sconces in the picture. Delicious food and great beer! Can't wait to visit again!

Food is consistent, service is decent. The elderberry cider they have right now is pretty good. We came back here a second time because they're honestly the best place to eat in town.

Called here for a drink and bite to eat, after getting off the train from Durango. Quite a small place, but friendly enough. It did get a bit crowded shortly after we arrived. The food we ordered was fine and good, and the beer was top notch. There is a sign asking people not to bring animals onto the patio, but it seemed to be routinely ignored and not enforced, so little dogs running around under your feet as you’re enjoying a beer is a little off-putting. Worth a visit, though.

It was just ok. The food was pretty good, the beer was pretty good, the location was beautiful but that’s not what I’m rating it on. There were A LOT of flies in the restaurant. It was packed because the train just came in and there was constantly a line to go to the bathroom. It was just ok.

Staff had no knowledge of menu items whatsoever. Had to ask 3 different employees if they had vegan cheese and they all said “I don’t know… I think we have non dairy?”. Then, after ordering and eating a VEGAN pizza, I heard a different employee say that the sauce has butter. Hopefully staff can become more knowledgeable about menu items.

After riding the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad we stopped in at Avalanche Brewing Co for a quick lunch. The food was really good, however the portions to price ratio was a little off. Great atmosphere and a really neat town.

Been coming here for years and food and service is always awesome!! Today was charged for a to-go box and ranch (that came with the appetizer…) We were also charged for a sandwich we did not order! just pretty confused and upset.
