We had trouble finding a company that would replace just one window at a time, and we wanted to start with replacing our large & very old kitchen window. We used KV windows to replace a large, old garden window in our kitchen. Fraser came out for an in person estimate and had amazing communication throughout the whole process. I paid exactly what I was quoted and the outcome was better than we could've imagined. Devon, the installer for our job was great to work with. He walked us through the whole process during installation so we knew exactly what was going on. From the first visit with Fraser to added the final touches with their painter, the whole experience was flawless. My wife and I found KV at the Denver Home show. We started out with Fraser and he was wonderful to work with. We had him over and got his bid and thought it to be very reasonable. Took a little bit to get the door but once it came in the install date was setup. Our installer Matt came out and did all the measurements then 2 weeks later he came out and did the installation. Matt was very friendly and professional as was his helper. They got the beautiful door in and also took off the storm door and put it back on. We felt very comfortable having them in the house and when they finished they cleaned up everything as though they had never been there. We would highly recommend this company. KV came out promptly when we contacted them about some vandalism that had broken one of our windows. They assessed what we needed, gave us a few options, and gave an intial "ballpark" estimate which was followed up by a formal estimate that was even a bit less expensive than the ballpark.The window was ordered, scheduled and arrived as per their estimated time. Installation was scheduled and performed as promised, and when issues arose due to some unforeseen complications with our building structure, they worked diligently to remedy our issues all within their quoted price.KV Windows was very professional, arrived on time as promised and did excellent work. The 2 installers Devin and Justin, were professional, very polite and nice.they put down tarps inside and out, cleaned up every bit of the mess. They vacuumed and even hung the blinds and curtains back up!I was very impressed with these 2 ! They were respectful and Devin was Justin seemed to work well together. KV came up with a solution to replace the door at a reasonable price and then did a very professional job executing the replacement. I have nothing but great things to say about KV Windows!! I was extremely impressed with Justin when he met with us to go over window options and provide an estimate. He worked very hard to get us high quality windows at a great price within our budget! We were quoted 8 - 10 weeks lead time and our windows were ready in 4, another plus. When it came to installation day, it had snowed 15" the night before and not only did the guys NOT cancel, they showed up 30 minutes early. They were very professional, personable and thorough. Our windows were installed in one day and you wouldn't have even known they were there; they cleaned up after themselves inside and outside our home. We have a few more windows to order and get installed and we can't wait. We will definitely request the same install crew again, they did an awesome job. I used KV Windows to fix a smashed window and the entire process was very good. All people I spoke with were very professional and they didn't even need me to be home for their final measurements. Matthew was so great during the installation and put down drop cloths, cleaned up, inspected the work and made sure everything was to standard before leaving.Only thing I would like to provide feedback on is communication on the process to the customer. They had a good process, but it wasn't very transparent and I felt out of the loop. Once the communication was elaborated on and I understood the timelines, processes, etc everything went well.I would not hesitate to use them on a future job. Affordable price and professional service.

We signed the contract with KV Windows to replace glass for one window and a sliding door. They came and measured, and we paid a deposit in March of 2021.The first attempt to install the windows was in June of 2021: the size for the door glass was wrong and the other glass was defective. The next attempt, the window glass was defective again, the door glass was the correct size, but during all those multiple installations, they damaged the glass bead, so they ordered a replacement. The third attempt in November of 2021 was finally successful for the window installation. The glass bead order was finally received, but it was a completely wrong item. We contacted KV Windows again, but haven't heard from them for another 6 months, so we asked another company to fix the issue and finish the job that KV Windows started, which was finally done at the end of June 2022 - almost 1.5 years later!!! When we received an invoice for the full amount, we asked to adjust it for the work they did not do. I contracted with KV Windows to complete the purchase and installation of 6 Pella Impervia replacement windows. Originally, I had contracted with Exceptional Exteriors to install 13 windows. However, Exceptional Exteriors could only complete the installation of 7 of the 13 windows. During the installation it became apparent that 2 of the windows ordered were both 4 inches too wide, and the frame type (i.e., flanged) for 4 of the windows would not work. Without notice, Exceptional Exteriors refused to re-order the 6 windows and defaulted on the contract. Comparatively, my experience with KV Windows was very good. They kept me appraised on the status of manufacture/delivery and the forecasted schedule date for installation. The installers took their time to ensure that each window was correctly installed and sealed. They also cut-back the drywall in the openings to ensure that the window frames were better recessed and did not extend too far out from the exterior wall. Tarps were laid out to protect the work area and the crew thoroughly picked up around each window. Upon completion of the work, the installers cleaned the windows before installing the screens, which is something that the crew from Exceptional Exteriors refused to do. In retrospect, I regret not going with KV Windows from the start. I highly recommend KV Windows for your window replacement needs.Service: General window replacement

I asked Jason to come out to look at a troublesome sliding glass door and a leaky window. He was able to make a simple adjustment to the door and determine that the window leak was a roof problem and not the window.I really appreciated that he didn't try to push new windows and doors when they weren't needed. I felt comfortable having him evaluate our home and will gladly call him again if we have any issues with our doors or windows. As an aside, a coworker recommended KV Windows to me. It was a great recommendation and in this case saved me thousands of $$$.
