No integrity. Their product began failing within two years. Despite providing a two year warranty - they threw their lawyer in front of us, saying they don’t need to repair the failing product based on a technicality of when we notified them and excusing their own mishandling of the paperwork. They know their product failed within the warranty period and refused to take care of it. We will never be employing them again.

I want to make a recommendation for one of Empire's field foreman. Jose, "J.P.", He is one of the most conscientious employees you have. During the duration of about a year of deck beam replacement, exterior wall replacement and brick column repair, all due to water damage and dry rot. He has ben stead fast in his efforts to supervise and direct the work required. His capabilities and knowledge of the correct way to do the job to our satisfaction was greatly appreciated. He endured through delays due to weather, material delays and personnel requirements with a positive attitude that made a lasting impression on the owners. EmpireWorks did a wonderful job when they completed a retaining wall project at a community I managed. They were very proactive with their communication. I knew what to expect and when to expect it. They even followed through once the job was completed to make sure everything was to my client’s satisfaction.The layouts of their proposals have also been very impressive. I am honestly surprised that this place has so many great reviews. They came to redo our deck on our condo. They only had 2 decks to do. Both the decks are very very small. It should have really only taken 1 day to do per deck. Yet they started Monday and it's Friday and the decks still are not done. I have to wonder if they are paid by the hour and not the job because there is simply no logical reason for it to take this long to complete a small deck. They have 3 people working on them too. We also had an issue with the initial drawings so we had to wait nearly 6 months for the decks to actually start being done.

Miserable experience! This company should change their name to Excuse Works because they make excuses for everything. Our homeowner association hired them for a project. There were several sub-contractors involved. No one communicated or worked as a team. The project manager (Darrell) was apathetic and unresponsive. His boss (Tim) wasn't any better. All of this made for a miserable situation for our homeowner association, the homeowners, and our management company.Services: General construction, General building construction
