MBI built our new house. They were easy to work with and did a very profession job. There were only a few issues, and those were dealt with promptly. Supply chain delays slowed the project, but they handled them efficiently. Mark has a great team - particular praise for Lowell, Pat, Jill, Christine and Nicolle. I recommend MBI highly.

Mark and the whole team at MBI were amazing. We are very satisfied with the whole process, from lot selection, to design selections (both interior and exterior), through the actual build process, and now post-closing support. I cannot give enough praise about my home building experience with MBI Contractors! Mark and Daniel were both a total pleasure to work with! From finding a suitable home site, choosing a floor plan, meetings at the design center, making changes and upgrades, meeting on site for decisions, right up to closing...on schedule, by the way...it went flawless!!!The praise doesn't stop there...every sub contractor I met was very courteous and professional.The quality of workmanship of MBI is unsurpassed!I couldn't be happier! Two years ago my wife and I purchased a vacation home in Woodland Park, Colorado. As you would expect we wanted it to be our dream cottage. Needless to say we have not been disappointed. It is everything we had hoped for and more. MBI Contractors (Mark McNab) did a fabulous job of designing and building the home. We knew we wanted to live in Woodland Park and were house hunting one weekend. We were shown a few houses that MBI Contractors had built and were very impressed. It didn’t take long for my husband and I to say YES to the house! We were under a 1031 exchange and everything went smooth. The house was ready on time and looked great! During the warranty period a few things were addressed. They were cordial and timely. We have one last item to square away but I’m confident it will all be taken care of. Shout out to Daniel, although I never met you in person you are a true asset to Marks company! You follow up, understand the business, and genuinely want to help! Hope one day we will meet. Thanks for a beautiful house we can call our home one day in the future. (1 year and counting down).Note: A very nice thing my husband and I enjoyed was the weekly update and pictures during the build. We live out of state and we looked forward to seeing the progress.Overall a great experience. 😃

My wife and I recently purchased a new MBI built home. We worked with MBI for about six months prior to closing on what we wanted in our new home. We could not be happier with the working relationship and service we got from the good folks at MBI. Mark & Daniel were always receptive to changes and modifications, working closely with us throughout the process. After closing MBI has been very responsive in fixing anything we have found needed attention (as is inevitable with any new home). One aspect of working with MBI we found very attractive was that they are not a big (and impersonal) construction firm mass producing houses one after the other (such as you see going up in eastern Colorado Springs). Also the quality inherent in MBI construction is excellent. Our new home feels ‘solid’ and well built. Mark and Daniel (the face and hands of MBI) took as much time as necessary to discuss our options, as well as outline timelines and potential challenge so that we felt we were getting a home built to our tastes, and not some cookie-cutter home that was identical to every other home in the subdivision. The entire transaction was something closer to working with friends and neighbors (early on Mark and Daniel gave us their personal phone numbers and make it clear we could call anytime we wished). MBI’s style and culture is a great fit for a relaxed, small town such as Woodland Park. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Bottom line is that I would give the folks at MBI my highest recommendation.

My wife and I contracted with MBI Contractors for new construction in Teller County. We were new to the area, and we weren't familiar the various types of construction techniques best suited to the terrain or climate. Mark explained the benefits of his construction techniques, including an insulating concrete form (ICF) crawl space type foundation. Mark, along with his project manager, Daniel, went over every detail of the construction contract with us numerous times, until we fully understood the terms and felt comfortable signing the contract. Construction was completed on time and as budgeted. Mark used high quality materials in our house -- floors, baseboards, sockets, fixtures, lighting, countertops, doors, cabinets, etc. The house has lots of windows, excellent lighting, contemporary design features, and a nice airy, floor plan. The house is well insulated and very quiet. We love our new Colorado home. The finished product exceeded our expectations.

Once we decided it was time to remodel our 50 year old cabin, it was easy for us to select MBI as our contractor, as we had watched Mark McNab and MBI build a new cabin in our area the previous year. The owners of that cabin had expressed to us their satisfaction with Mark and his crew, and we were able to see their beautiful result. Once we contacted Mark to give us a bid, It took us quite a while, and many iterations, to find the right mix of modifications and cost that we believed would fulfill our vision of our family cabin, preserve its legacy, and not drain the bank account. During this design phase, Mark was engaged, creative, and flexible. He also helped us thru the design, engineering, and construction of a new septic system, when we discovered during inspections that ours was "history". Finally, we were ready to roll with our remodel. During construction, Mark worked closely with us to address the inevitable surprises when working on a structure this old, he continued to deliver creative solutions, and worked closely with us on design details and material selection. I can honestly say the process was enjoyable, and very rewarding as we watched our "new" cabin emerge from its aged roots. The results were amazing. MBI accomplished everything you hope for in a successful remodel; on budget, on schedule, and quality craftsmanship. But for us, the result was way more. It is now a cabin with all of its original charm and family memories intact, plus the architectural beauty, features, and comforts that you see in magazines, and picture in your mind. It may seem "over the top" to say this, but Mark McNab (MBI), Josh, Ty, Jerry, Naomi, Ward, Toby, Troy, and all the other people that contributed, helped make our dreams for our mountain home come true. Thanks to all!

We had excellent results from NBI contractors. Every issue that we dealt with was dealt in honesty and with follow-through. In my opinion they are the best contractors in Woodland Park.Our home was built to exceed the standards that the county has for it. Attention to detail is one of the most important things for this contractor. Our home was completed on the date promised. This was a big plus for us as it would cost us a lot of money and stress to have missed that date. I highly recommend MBI builders.

Greatest home buying experience we've ever had. We wish they had all been this pleasant. The home was finished on time and with a level of quality we had not experienced before. A great deal of detail went into every part of the process and even the placement of the house on the lot shows a lot of forethought. Way to go MBI! A Great company that we highly recommend. I wish there was an option for 10 stars! After a 26 year career in the US Air Force, my wife and I dreamed of the day when we could build the custom home of our dreams in the Colorado mountains. Mark and his team surpassed our highest expectations. During the design phase, Mark demonstrated unmatched creativity with an unrelenting eye for adding true value at every opportunity. He incorporated my ideas into the specifics of our view lot and developed a strategy to blend the home into the surrounding area. I was especially impressed with how Mark and the entire MBI team could tell me exactly where my money was going, and outlined a realistic budget that preserved the personality and quality of our home, without simply gold-plating everything he saw. During construction, we came upon soil problems that challenged our budget, and Mark worked closely with the engineers to ensure that the soil problems were addressed and solved with the utmost care and to the highest engineering standards. Throughout the construction phase, Mark personally visited and provided guidance to both his team and his sub-contractors every single day--he took ownership of the project and ensured the highest standards. I have to tell you: Mark is not at all easy on his subs. He expects them to demonstrate the same attention to detail and dedication to quality that he shows in everything he does. As one sub commented, "Mark is a pain in my butt and doesn't cut me any slack--but I want to be part of his projects because they are so amazing." We lived in our home now for two years, and I am still dazzled by the quality, the workmanship, and the artistry that Mark put into our mountain home. The home is incredibly solid and energy efficient. I know I said this before, but the attention to detail is beyond my wildest and highest expectations. As a money saving venture, I asked that Mark only partially finish our bonus room, but now that we are stabilized in our post-US Air Force transition, the is absolutely no one else who I will allow to work on our dream home. Mark will be the one who finishes the project this winter. Finally, I want to tell you about how the last two years went, as we worked through the "punch list" of items that popped up since we moved into the home. Mark was unbelievably responsive and stood behind his work. The problems were all cosmetic and very rare...but the fact remains that he had someone on site to fix the problem in one visit...each time...and in less than 72 hours of my notification. Mark demonstrated...and continues to demonstrate...the highest sense of ethics, dedication, and pride in workmanship. I simply cannot be happier...and Mark EARNED my highest endorsement.

Mark built a custom home for us in the mountains west of Colorado Springs. From the first meeting until construction was complete he was the utmost professional. He always went the extra step to make sure everything was perfect and planned every detail with care. He worked very hard to complete construction on time and had us ready to move in for Christmas. Not a single thing could have been better.
