Very happy with the work that Randy and his team did at our house. It's the perfect blend of looking professional and nice as well as being functional. He took great care in the details which really made the difference, such as the grade of the land and covering up clean outs and drains. Randy also went above and beyond to do things like figure out a better layout for my fiber line. His team was friendly and hardworking too. Randy and his crew were BEYOND exceptional, I don't even know where to begin other than saying we HIGHLY recommend and will be using them again soon for a few other projects no question. We were looking to have a retaining wall put in because when the house was built they just cut out a piece of a hill and built, but over time nature takes its course so we needed to add additional support. Well, Randy and Mountain High Creations were amazing from the start, I called and immediately they were able to come out and give us an estimate along with clear expectations and professional insight into what needed to be done, how they could do it right, as well as how to do it to where it looked great too. They used material from the job to support other areas of our home property and went beyond what was expected. We HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you give them a shot and see what they can do for you! Randy and team did amazing, super high-quality work building a deck and landscaping path for my home. I really felt I could trust his expertise and vision - he knew exactly what materials and design would best fit the house and compliment the natural environment. There were some tricky technical challenges with the gas lines and satellite that he was able to maneuver around safely and professionally during the construction with no worries. I am so in love with the new pristine deck and charming rock framed steps he added around the deck to join up the pathway. I kept meaning to ask him if he could also mend a section of the fence my dog broke but I forgot and after they left, I discovered he fixed it without me even asking. Jokes were not covered in the original estimate, but there was no additional charge!

Everything about this job was spot on. Replaced large second story, 28 year old deck with full set of steps down to ground level. Everything Randy said from the moment he wrote up the first bid until the job was completed was exactly as he described. The scheduling was exactly when he said it would be, the price was exactly what he said it would be and the quality of the work was superb. I can't stop looking at my new redwood decks and flagstone patio. The job that Randy Railey and his crew did at my house is a work of art. Randy's attention to detail, professionalism, and imagination are the qualities that I was seeking for this project, and he did not let me down. We had Mountain High Creations do a lot of work at our place this year, including rebuilding three decks, widening a driveway and building a retaining wall, and creating a rock shed pad behind the garage. Randy and his crew do an excellent job, and come up with creative solutions when challenges arise (which happened more than a few times at this old place). I’d recommend them to anyone needing landscaping/deck work, and I’ll be calling them back for future projects.

When we purchased our home in the mountains there wasn’t any “landscaping “. We knew we wanted a patio area, a large fenced area for our dogs and better access to the backyard but no idea about how to design or construct any of it. Mountain High Creations did wonders for the front yard and patio area of our home in Woodland Park. After eight years in our home, we wanted to enhance the front to include an attractive area that would not only give our home curb appeal, but be a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy our beautiful neighborhood. We called Randy who came over and gave us lots of interesting and creative ideas on how our goal could be accomplished. Arrangements were made for Randy and his crew to come do the work. It took them three days until completion and we couldn't be happier. The front area of our house is now beautifully landscaped with a flagstone patio, a stone walkway, and a rock retaining wall. We have had Randy and his crew out on at least three projects, the last in 2017 to re do our existing deck and a huge rock retaining wall. We have been extremely pleased with the workmanship and the craftsmanship of the completed jobs. The retaining wall is a piece of art with very large stones that I’m still amazed can be used. I spent 11 years trying to landscape my own back yard and it was filled with unfinished projects: an un-level swing area, empty flower beds, a half finished "rock garden" mostly filled with torn weed block and weeds, a patio with a heavy slope next to with unusable space... Randy and Mountain High Creations came and transformed it! He built a boulder wall and created a beautiful extension to my concrete patio with plenty of room for a fire pit, and built up the beds with a beautiful, natural combination of mulch, boulders and ornamental rock that matched my existing color palette. He had the entire area designed in his mind within moments of walking around my yard, and the finished product looked exactly as he described. He arrived when he said he would, and completed the project in the amount of days he estimated. I had no idea what to do with the space so I was grateful to find a landscaper DESIGNER, not just a landscaper, who immediately saw the vision of what the yard could look like, and then delivered down to the last rock. If you're tired of looking at your own attempts at landscaping, call in a professional designer like Randy. I can't wait for summer now!
