Dave and the team at Trout Roofing went to bat for us with our insurance company, which initially said they weren't going to pay for damage to the roof caused by an ice dam (the desktop adjuster was in Phoenix). They also came over immediately when mitigation was authorized to protect the roof and internal structures by laying down a FEMA-standard tarp.They convinced the company to send out a local adjuster, who approved the repairs in 10 minutes, with Dave showing and explaining to him the damage in person.Once the repairs were approved, a crew was dispatched in 2 days, completed the work in just over a day, and our roof is better than it ever was.Dave even calculated for me how many soffit vents were needed, free of charge. I did that work myself and feel the circulation in our attic crawlspace finally is where it should be.Thanks, Dave, Cole, and Jenny for all you did for us!

Trout Roofing did an amazing job helping us navigate through the process of having our wood shake shingle roof replaced due to wind damage. Dave took the time to help us contact and walk us through every step of the claim with our insurance company. He made calls, reviewed county code updates, and even met and surveyed the roof with the insurance adjuster to make sure every aspect of the damage was reviewed and documented to insure replacement. Dave went above and beyond to help us through this process. The Trout Team came out removed the old roof and had the roof prepped and ready for the county inspection the very next morning. After the the inspection the team had the new upgraded impact resistant roof on our house with in hours. The roof came out beautiful! We are so happy and have peace of mind now that we have a new roof that is updated to current code and will endure the Colorado weather. I would recommend Trout Roofing. Dave was prompt and took care of our problem in a timely manner, when I know he had other jobs going on. Our job wasn't very big, but the repair we needed was urgent to avoid further damage.His estimate was almost $1800 less than a company out of the Springs, and while I was concerned I would need an entire roof replacement, (the other company gave me an estimate of $45k to replace the entire roof, as I asked about that option), Dave assured me that was nowhere near necessary. I cannot speak highly enough about Dave and Trout Roofing. After having several issues with other companies and their follow through, vague answers, disinterest, etc.. Dave came out the same day I called to evaluate, discuss and get to work. He kept in close communication with us throughout the project and spoke to us about the repairs clearly and professionally. Dave understood the intricacies of the roofing and insurance companies and was able to give us a much needed perspective of what to expect and offered solutions to problems with our existing roof. Replaced roof on both house and detached garage. Outstanding crew - done in 2 days even with high winds. Even coordinated a framer to shore up rot that precipitated need for house roof replacement in the first place. Beautiful roofs and both have ridge vents so rot won't happen again. We had to have our roof replaced to help aid the sale of our home and time was of the essence. Dave and his crew were extremely professional and efficient. I was appraised of every step of the process. They did what was expected, were conscientious about making sure any storms wouldn’t impact the house while the roof was being replaced.
