We did get a little anxious, having not heard from them for 3 to 4 weeks after signing over the insurance check to them. (People were out sick.) Then we heard that they would be coming to do our roof within two weeks! They came, finished the roof in one day, cleaned up and did a beautiful job. I am pleased to say that we had an excellent experience with A1 Home Improvement We were a bit nervous going into this project as it was the biggest update that we had done on our house in years. Jerry came out to our house and gave us a comprehensive estimate for our project at a price that we felt was reasonable in comparison to a couple of other estimates. We decided to go with A1, but first had to arrange for removal and storage of our solar panel system with our installing company. Also, it took us a while to decide on a roofing color, but that was just us being indecisive! Jerry provided us with a number of color samples as well as addresses of houses we could drive by to see those colors on completed roofs. The actual process went very quickly. The solar guys came on a Sunday and removed and stored the system, the roofing materials were dropped off the next day, and the roofers came in the following day and completed the whole project. We were quite surprised they were able to do it in one day since our house, although super large, has a number of different roofing areas and a fairly steep pitch. There were six crew members working on the roof and another person overseeing the project. One of the crewmembers spent the whole time just collecting and cleaning up the materials that came to the ground. Coverings were used around the side of the house, so that falling material stayed away from the house siding. When the project was completed, crew went around with the magnetized sticks to pick up any loose nails. The crew was very polite, and we felt that they were respectful of our property.Overall the entire experience went much smoother and quicker than we had anticipated. We would definitely recommend A1 to family and friends.

I called several roofing companies regarding my leaky roof. All but A1 gave me a long sales pitch and a quote. Instead of selling me on a new roof, my sales rep Dave walked me through the whole process of filing an insurance claim, dealing with the solar panels, and getting my roof covered 100% by my insurance company. They did an excellent job with the installation and were very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I will be absolutely be a repeat customer.

Not only was Joey professional and knowledgeable, he delivered on all promises. Joey worked with my insurance adjuster to assess the damage to my roof and helped us choose the best option for a new roof. Just had my roof replaced. Worked with Michael Fort. He is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Walked me through the whole process. Gave me books to choose roof color. Set up time frames of when to expect work completed. The team arrived at 0700. Replaced the roof and was completed within 4 hours. The supervisor of the crew introduced himself to me and asked if I had any questions. Cleaned up everything, left the area better than it had been, I cannot say enough great of things about the whole. Experience. I would highly recommend Michael Fort and his team!

A1 had someone calling me back to schedule an on-site estimate within the same week as my roofing inquiry. Mike came out and was super professional, answered all of my questions even after leaving and days later as I mulled over my quotes from multiple companies. He was always quick to respond with any questions or concerns I had either about materials, scheduling etc. The work was done efficiently with great attention to detail from start to finish; my property was treated well and cleaned up afterwards and I was contacted shortly after project completion to ensure I was happy with the work, which to me speaks volumes! Do a very good job at the most important things: roof and fittings install, competitive pricing & highest rated manufacturers certification/associated warranty. Very timely scheduled and efficiently done job. Outstanding exterior clean-up. And provided a nice photo album of the complete job – a plus for property insurance adjusters/raters.Could use improvement regarding back-office communications, post-sale. And interior (attic) clean-up could also be better, although these are minor quibbles overall.In summary, would highly recommend them for any residential roofing project.

My husband and I worked with Mike Fort throughout the whole process, he made what felt like a daunting task… a breeze. During the planning stages and going through insurance, he handled it all with ease and confidence and took the stress away from us. He answered every call and provided any answers we needed, as well as the other employees there as well.The day they did the roof, the crew were so fast and efficient and didn’t leave a trace of anything when they left. We are over the moon with our new roof and so pleased with the experience.The roof is just gorgeous and love the warranties as well! Any home repairs can be so stressful, and I can honestly say this was one of the easiest experiences we have had. I’ve worked with many contractors throughout my life, but my experience with Carlos, from A1 Home Improvement, compelled me to leave this review. I was referred to his company by a prior customer of A1 Home Improvement, and I have to say I was not disappointed! I needed expertise regarding issues with my roof and leaking inside my home. Upon contacting a few other contractors, Carlos was not only the first to respond, but incredibly knowledgeable and came to my home for an inspection. His follow up from that point on was bar none! As I was very unfamiliar with insurance claims, it can be very tedious, however, Carlos outlined every step in detail, what to expect, answered our many questions, and worked directly with my insurance company. I cannot recommend Carlos and A1 Home Improvement enough!

I needed a new roof and had been asking around for recommendations. My cousin told me about A1 and a few days later I realized they were located in my neighborhood. Sales Rep Spencer was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We agreed to have our roof done and was told they were booked out a few months. Within a week I received a call and had a new date for roof installation which was just a few weeks after our 1st meeting with Spencer. A1 kept me informed of delays due to weather. The materials were delivered a few days before roof installation, The crew arrived at 7:30 am and I had a new roof by 3:30 PM. My wife and I were gone on the day of installation and when we returned home our yard looked better than when we had left for the day. It was spotless. I still cannot believe I could not find a roofing nail anywhere in my yard!. The sales staff, site manager, roof installers and office workers were all very professional and friendly. A1 home improvements have the roofing installation down to a science and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new quality roof.
