Steve was punctual for our initial meeting. He gave excellent advice and helped guide me through an insurance claim related to some damage on my roof. Steve and Chris had excellent communication and replied to texts straight away. When it came time to replace the whole roof Steve said he would bring three crews and get it done in one day... I didn't believe him, and told him so. Well, they absolutely proved they could do it! The roof looks amazing, the clean up was so good you wouldn't know they were here, and I thought my flower beds would get a little trampled in the process, but even my plants look happy and untouched. I highly recommend Flying Colors!

Flying colors was amazing. We used them to install a new roof. They came highly recommended from two separate former customers and completely lived up to the hype. From the moment I met and discussed the work required it was clear they were knowledgeable and professional. We got a few different bids and they were the obvious choice for us. The work was completed on time - on budget - leaving no mess. I would highly recommend them for any project. We plan to use them for painting and other services going forward.

I can’t say enough great things about Flying Colors. Steven was incredibly helpful and responsive, and always took the time to answer my questions (even when poorly worded, as I’m still trying to learn as I go). He scheduled the installation as soon as rain would allow- I think about two weeks and I had no known emergencies. In the end, they had to replace so much more (plywood) than I expected but they kept me informed the whole time.Pricing and value is incredible, and they even fixed a ventilation problem for me without me even having to ask. My old skylights were leaking- they replaced them perfectly and I didn’t even have to do any interior work. Their mason also had to rebuild my chimney and it is gorgeous! I didn’t expect the copper flashing around the skylights but it looks absolutely amazing and they are perfect.After all this rain- it’s clear they did a great job. I just had my roof done by flying colors. The whole process was great. Steve is very responsive and great to work with and his crews are great and do very high quality work. Ricardo was my carpentry crew foreman and Diego was roofing crew foreman… both of them are great guys and make sure everything is done right. The crews start early each day and work late, until the job is done. I’m the type that thoroughly researches everything before making any decisions and I’m a perfectionist when it comes to work quality… So far I’m extremely happy with my decision to use flying colors. I just saved you a bunch of time and research, go with Flying Colors, you won’t be disappointed.I’m using flying colors for my new roof and gutters, exterior painting including the carpentry/replacing all rotten exterior window trims..Exterior paint is up next.. I’ll leave another review after that..

The entire roofing project was done with me out of the country. There was much more damage to the underlying plywood than either of us anticipated, but Flying Colors was able to finish the job just prior to a massive rainstorm.I feel very comfortable in recommending Steve and Flying Colors. The guys at Flying Colors did a fantastic job removing 2 layers of old shingles and re-shingling my home including the replacement of a couple of old leaky skylights. The team that did the work was very professional. They worked like a finely tuned machine to get the job done in only two days using quality materials. My roof is now a vast improvement over what it was. No more worries. I'm very happy with the results.

It's not easy finding good work at a reasonable price these days and flying colors was excellent and fairly priced. This company is fantastic to work with. We used them 2 years ago for complete interior & exterior painting. This year (2021) we used them for a complete roof and gutter replacement. After torrential rains the past couple weeks, we developed a leak in our upstairs bathroom ventilation fan and we were afraid we needed a new roof. We called Flying Colors with a recommendation from our neighbor. Joe and his team came out and assured us our roof would last a few more years. The issue was fixed with new flashing around the fan vent and new seal for the plumbing vent pipe. We are so thankful to have found an honest company to work with. Highly recommend.

I called Flying Colors Roofing on Monday this week and they got back to me on Tuesday and sent someone out Wednesday morning. I had a leak coming into one of my bathrooms and they were able to diagnose and provide a quote very quickly and then provide a fix same day. Flying Colors Roofing removed two layers of old shingles and applied new shingles to my house early Oct 2022. The entire experience with Steve Totilo and his company was excellent. He was also significantly less expensive than other quotes!A real roofer inspected the problem and gave what, in retrospect, was the most likely reason for the problem I had on a 15 year young re-shingled roof. Steve provided a proposal quickly, gave me an estimate when he could start, and how long it would take (2-3 days max). I had some questions regarding his proposal, he always responded within a few hours.He supported me with color choice by providing local addresses I could view with the candidate roof colors I was considering. He also provided sets of shingles for each color option.When I told him I was going with him, he provided a start date. I had a conflict on that date and we quickly arrived at an alternate start after the weekend I was away. Bright and early on the agreed upon day his crew arrived, covered the sides of the house and surrounding lawn with huge tarps and went to work. A dumpster and the roofing material arrived shortly.In summary the crew finished the same day, late in the day to be sure. Steve was fine with me holding back some of the payment till I could do a daylight inspection. He sent a guy over the next morning to pick up anything missed in the dark. The dumpster (there is a lot of debris removing a roof) was picked up that next day also.BTW, as expected previously roof leaks I experienced are gone now, after several significant rain events!As an aside, if this is your first roof replacement:1) Obvious but don’t forget, if you plan to use your car during the roofing activity don’t leave it in the garage! You will not be able to get it out!!!2) Be aware removing the old shingle is a messy job. Tarps etc collect 99.9% of the stuff. The tenth percent of “stuff” that gets through is real! Of the three companies I obtained re-roofing quotes from, each said we do what we can to prevent nails from getting on your lawn but there maybe some missed.In summary I heartily recommend Flying Colors Roofing! Steve’s company gets high marks for quality of work and timeliness.
