Silvio and his team are the best!!! They just finished our project today, and I could not wait to put in this review. We expanded our small patio and added a walkway to the in-law apartment we have recently completed at our daughter's Brookfield home. I am absolutely thrilled with Illescas! We recently contracted with them to have two projects done. We needed an old concrete wall demolished and rebuilt as stone and we also needed a significant repair of an enormous concrete stairway. I’m a detail-oriented person with a clear vision of what I wanted and my husband is an engineer, so we are a bit on the picky side ;) As we got estimates from various contractors I grew nervous. I was nervous that I wouldn’t get what I wanted or that the work wouldn't be done well. After meeting with Silvio my fears were quickly allayed.Firstly, Silvio was excellent to deal with! He always returned texts and calls. If he said that he would be there, he was. He never deviated from the extremely fair estimate that he gave us. He allowed us to tell him what we wanted and he gave it to us. Every interaction communicated his experience and integrity.I felt sure that we had picked the right company, but until work began I was still a bit anxious. Silvio and his wonderful crew quickly showed me that I could relax and trust them. They started our job ahead of schedule and worked consistent 11-hour days until our project was complete. We watched in awe as this group of diligent, respectful, kind, reliable, efficient craftsmen left no detail unattended. The care that they showed us, our property and our project has made all the difference.The finished projects were of such excellent quality and beautiful enough that we keep circling our wall, admiring it like a couple of weirdos ;) They made this process simple and pleasant, and as people stop to ask us who did our wall, we are proud and happy to tell them who built it. Chris and his team are terrific! Professional and beautiful work on our back patio, front stoop and pavers near the pool. Also added waterproofing gravel around the back of the house and buried gutters into drainage pipes. It can be challenging to find good construction teams, but I highly recommend Chris Illescas.

Silvio was very helpful and responsive in planning the project which was a 550 sq foot outdoor patio with Unilock pavers. He and the 2 workmen dida meticulous and beautiful job; it came out better than I had imagined.They were flexible and made some minor changes as we went along.They worked carefully and and in a focused manner, and the end result was nothing less then magnificent. Great experience from start to finish. They have done several jobs for me the past two years. They are responsive, always on time and complete the jobs quickly and professionally with very high quality. When the job is completed, they are very conscientious about cleaning up leaving the work area looking better than it was before they started. I’m looking forward to using them again.

Illescas Construction has the expertise to take on large masonry jobs (many good sized projects on one residential property). Silvio, the owner, has the skill and patience to discuss the project. He can read architectural plans, will study yours, will make suggestions and will perform it all with precision. He joins the crew in performing, managing and assuring the work is done to industry standards. The masonry work we had him perform was on steep grounds and involved building multiple retaining walls of various heights on different pitches. We had cement w/ stone veneer walls, stone walls, bluestone steps, concrete steps all built by them. We highly recommend them. Prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for. His estimate price is the final price (no asking for more $ halfway through the project.) Do it once do it right with Illescas Construction!

The biggest reason we hired Illesca’s to level our yard was because of their attention to detail and being so responsive. They were so professional and kind from the time the took measurements to the day they leveled. You know they are not trying to rob you!We had three other companies come out and give us quotes and Illesca’s was by far the best. The kids love the new level yard they can play on!!
