We are so thankful to Greenwich Construction for helping us build our dream home. We have been through the construction process before and were left with a sour taste in our mouths after our first experience with a different contractor. Louis and his team at Greenwich Construction not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. Our construction included a second story addition as well as a full gut renovation of the existing interior, including converting from oil to gas and adding central air and heat. Construction began in late October and was completed to move in condition by early March. Despite a bad winter, the house was up and completed on time and on budget, even with a number of change orders on our part. I would absolutely use Louis and team again, they made our dream home come to life and we are forever grateful.

Beware! Don't let Louis fool you---I was fooled.They won the bid for a large project on our house in Westchester and clearly did not understand the scope of the job they were taking on. Once they realized they might lose money, they cut corners everywhere, tried to charge us for items included in base scope of work, and stopped paying their subcontractors. We ended up taking over the job and paying the subs to get our project completed. Definitely make sure you have a good lawyer--we needed ours to deal with them. If you HAVE to use them, make sure to get a solid contract that obligates them to fix things they damage during the job and limits what they can charge extra for. Be mindful of the existing conditions clause they will seek.Also, watch out if they try to sell you cabinets from Hallmark. Very poor quality for the premium price and the vendor does not stand by their product. The owner completely blew us off when we tried to get repairs. Our cabinets are only two years old and we will probably need to replace / refinish them entirely because the paint is literally peeling off.Considering their initial promise and prestigious Greenwich name, it was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience.

I recommend Greenwich Construction without hesitation and with highest regard. We are very pleased to recommend Louis and his team as they have been both professional and sincere. Our large project of an addition including a retaining wall, 2 car garage, master suite, master bathroom, and multiple internal renovations including kitchen remodel and living room expansion was no small undertaking. They took on our project knowing that we really hoped to finish before our 2nd baby was born which only gave them a 4 month window. They were on budget and on time, in fact they finished before the proposed deadline. They operated with a professionalism that is rarely found in this business which also includes all services they work with from the carpentry, plumbing, painting, sheet rock, electric, HVAC to the daily project management supervision. There were some changes to our plan as well as our own changes along the way but each was managed proactively with all options and cost outlined clearly. We couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done and consider the entire team of Greenwich Construction as part of our family.

If you plan on building a house from scratch or just renovating, Louis at Greenwich Construction can guide you through the process. He built our house from the ground up and we couldn't be more pleased. Very high quality subs and an excellent attention to detail. We remain good friends three years later!

I shared with them my vision, and they made my dream bathroom a reality! Tom, Louis, and the rest of the team were professional, VERY hard workers and took pride in their work! After reading the reviews and hearing horror stories from previous clients, I would recommend going with another contractor (as we did) or have a very good lawyer, as you will need one. They are over priced, use questionable sub contractors, cut corners and very rude and unprofessional.

The owner lacks integrity. Your best bet is to go elsewhere before you're sorry.As for his response it's amazing how this man admits in person his lack of ethics and poor communication...he wont sign any agreements or say a word about work quality until your gone...then decides to text, offering to pay half and keeps changing his reasons.... hes that bad. His word is meaningless. Dont walk away. RUN.....
