Luke and Matt Cahoon have done work for us for almost 40 years. The quality of their workmanship is top notch. Headline: Extremely slow to respond, Horrible pricingI had them come down for an estimate to replace an exterior door. Seemed nice and professional and I had high hopes. I was told I would get an estimate in 1 week. After me having to reach out to THEM multiple times and being given the run-around, I finally got my estimate 4 WEEKS LATER. That aside, the estimate to simply replace an exterior door and frame (and add a screen door) came to $3,700! For those that don’t know, the avg. price should be between $500-$1,800 as a high end price. This was MORE than double it. The price also included a porta-potty. If you have a couple of people who know what they’re doing it should take about 3 hours to get this all done. After all the hassle I had to go through just to get the estimate, when I saw this price I was just extremely disappointed. I never got back to them and they never reached back out to me. My suggestion is to look elsewhere.

Luke, Matt, company and their top notch sub-contractors all get 5 stars. They re-modeled our home in Mystic and exceeded our expectation in every aspect of the work. The logistics of our place is most challenging and they were able to navigate expertly.

They were too busy or big to come and give an estimate on our bathroom upgrade. They referred us to another company Seacrest Renovations. Seacrest did come out and listened to what we wanted, took notes, and contact information. Ten days later we haven't received an estimate. I do not recommend either company.

I can not get anyone to call me back to finish my repair. They have my deposit of $464.40 and still no completed work 4 months later.
