Working with Scott and his crew was a great experience. I booked a couple months ahead of time and they showed up as scheduled. His crew was fast and thorough. They did a great job of covering up my extensive plantings and then cleaning up completely, even searching through bushes for errant nails with a magnet. The roof looks great, and the high quality Owens Corning shingles should last a long time.There was some residual grit from the installation that ended up on the metal roof of my porch. It did not wash off in the rain. I called Scott and he sent someone over the next business day to blow off the debris.NBR has been around a long time and I'm confident they will be around should I need any repairs in the future. I found Scott and his crew to be very professional and responsive from initial quote to job completion. His pricing was fair, he did an excellent job explaining the options and explaining what was wrong with my current roof. They started the job on time, worked hard for the duration and completed as anticipated. They missed one day for rain, but that is to be expected. Also appreciate that they only stripped what could be replaced so nothing left exposed overnight. Would definitely hire again. Also Crew did an awesome job cleaning up. I had a very positive experience with NBR. Scott did an excellent job of drawing up estimates that fit my budget and the needs of my roof. Once approved his people were promptly on site both mornings and quickly knocked out the repairs on my roof. Other than the new roofing, they left no evidence that they were ever there. A couple days after installation, there was another high wind night and a few roof cap shingles were blown off as well as some flashing repair. These guys were GREAT! I’d hired them several years ago to do several smaller roofing areas, but this year, with a solar installation coming up, it was time for the main roof from/back, with two dormers. These sections were only 20 years old but the roofers who had done them back then clearly didn’t know much about the job. I’d had leaks along the way. They found a rotting hole around an older stove vent, the ridge vent hadn’t been done properly, the flashing around the dormers and the chimney had been done wrong, and all around, it’s surprising I hadn’t had more problems than I did. All these things have now been rectified and done properly, I love the light gray color, even though it doesn’t quite match the 5 year old smaller roofs (the white was no longer available) and the whole place looks spic and span. They cleaned up beautifully and all around, did a great job…and their costs are extremely competitive with other companies.
