I had a full roof replacement completed by Kerigan’s Roofing this week, and I can not speak highly enough about the experience from start to finish. Within hours of placing my call to request a quote, Matt came to inspect my roof. I received a call from him by early evening with a detailed and very competitive quote. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and answered all my questions. The job was scheduled and completed promptly. The day of the install, the crew worked seamlessly and efficiently to complete the job in one day. Their skill and experience was apparent. I had Matt replace my roof on my house in Fairfield back in 2012 and 12 years later I am still very happy with results. At the time I interviewed about 7 or 8 different roofing companies. Matt was not the cheapest or the most expensive. He was in the middle of the price range. There is a saying :”You get what you pay for.” So choosing the cheapest roofing company is no bargain if it does a terrible job. This is your home and you will be living with a headache for a long time if shoddy work is performed. There were many reasons why I choose Matt, but one I clearly remember was he listed his home address (35 Villa Avenue)in the estimate and the contract. A lot of other roofers listed a P.O.Box or only a phone number. When I saw that I knew Matt did good work because he wasn’t afraid to list his home address. That spoke volumes. When I asked for references of other jobs he had done he immediately provided them. I called the 3 customers and they all raved about the work he had done. I also asked if they were family members or personal friends and they said “No”. What I also liked about Matt was he did the roofing job and did not subcontract it out. Everyday he stopped by to make sure the work was progressing. He started when he said he would and he finished on the date he expected. I remember another positive experience related to replacing the roof. I have two chimneys on my house. I ordered to cage caps to be installed to prevent squirrels from entering into the chimney. They did not arrive before Matt finished the job. I asked him if he could sent a member of his crew back to install the caps when they arrived. He said “No Problem”. I confess I was a little worried, because the job was finished and paid for and economically it did it make sense for Matt to send a crew member back. When the caps arrived several weeks later, Matt had the caps installed the day after I called him. I made the right choice of roofers I interviewed and so will you if you hire Matt.

Kerrigan roofing did our roof several years ago and I STILL have neighbors asking me for their name ! The roof looks so good I was surprised to realize when I looked at the folder that it had been 10 years ago. 2 friends I recently referred to Kerrigan Rooking separately called to let us know how pleased they were with Matt Kerrigan’s punctuality, attention to detail, reliance and adherence to projected time schedule. Couldn’t be happier that I found Kerrigan’s Roofing. Very responsive super neat and friendly crew. Matt the owner personally saw to it that I was completely satisfied.Only a few months after the job was done a tree fell on my house causing roof damage. A call to Matt and he had someone out and secure the roof right away making protected until the inspector was able to come out.I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Matt and his team we amazing. Matt responded the day I submitted my info for a quote. He appraised the job within the next 2days and had an extremely competitive price. First major storm 10 gallons water in living room. Solution..tack up some tar paper. Matt said sider would be responsible for flashing. NOT TRUE! None there. Home inspection showed improper installation, not to code. Missing flashings, not to code.Ridge vent too tight, edging material wrong, no ice and water shield up sides of additions. Sloppy install.BEWARE! Leaking can be happening for YEARS before discovery. Matt has failed to respond to certified mail requests and BBB INQUIRIES!!! NO choice but to sue!!
