I’m reluctant to write this review as I don’t want others to know about how wonderful Ed and his team are. They are simply the best there is! After using Ed for a number of years with small jobs we decided it was time to put on an addition to the house. There was no hesitation in picking EH Home Remodeling for the work. Ed was the prime contractor and handled EVERYTHING from plumbing, heating, permits, etc. He does it all! And he is just a great person and so caring about us and the job! With zero reservation I highly recommend EH Home Remodeling for any of your home repair and addition needs - but please don’t tell anyone!

I am very pleased to give EH Home Remodeling of Milford, CT my highest possible recommendation. We first utilized the services of Eddie Hernandez approximately 20 years ago on the recommendation of a friend. It was a small job, simply removing leaves from our gutters. Since then, we have used Eddie on a variety of projects both big and small. He has completely renovated 3 bathrooms for us, rebuilt a deck, installed a standby generator, performed maintenance on said generator, re-tiled floors, done outside and inside painting, built a shed, installed a roof, dealt with plumbing issues and countless other projects. Eddie has handled much of this work himself, but I have also trusted him to find subcontractors because when EH Home Remodeling brings on a sub, he holds them to the same standards he holds himself to. I frequently joke with Eddie that he has spoiled us because we have become accustomed to the extremely high quality of workmanship that Eddie delivers. He is dependable, pleasant and very reasonably priced. Eddie is the top notch professional - siding, kitchens, bathrooms - you name it. I got very lucky to have him work on my large siding project, his attitude, hard work, attention to even super small details gonna make any customer happy. He will stay on the project (not switching between few at the same time like others do) and get it done to superior level which would way over exceed any expectations. Over years I hired many contractors - even good ones are falling way short of what you can expect from Eddie- others jump between other projects, cut corners to make their job easier but decremental to quality, don’t pay enough attention to detail and always try to rip you off for quick buck. Eddie is totally opposite - your quote is going to be just fair but quality you get is gonna be way superior. Because of those qualities he stays busy, so you might or might not be lucky to get him working on your project but you have to give him a call.

We had a concrete entrance-way to our home which had been repaired and patched many times, was an eyesore and only had an 18" overhang which did not give any protection from rain or snow. We wanted a small front porch with a roof to protect from weather and the sun which looked like it belonged to the house and not an add-on. Ed came up with a beautiful plan within our budget and gave us a date which was soon enough that we could enjoy it for the summer. He and his crew worked through brutal heat and pouring rain and finished it in 5 days. They were perfectionists and extremely detail oriented in their work and exceeded our greatest expectations. All our friends and neighbors have raved over our new porch.
