I am in the permitting process, so this review pertains to my experience thus far. For the past 2-3 months, I have been working with Jennifer at Harvest Moon and can't say enough great things about her. She's friendly, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable about all topics timber frame related (and beyond). She has always been generous with her time and has helped educate me on materials, process, design, and available resources, both human and material. I found them through a friend who bought a barn kit from them and raved about the service and product. I saw his finished barn and can now speak to both of those qualities. Highly recommend!!

I started to dream about my 36 x 24 boatshop/garage (in fact a barn) more than 5 years ago. I finally pulled the trigger last fall, and the kit arrived just before Christmas. What an amazing experience! Nobody in North Carolina really knows much about timber frame barns, but the kit was so perfectly put together that we were able to figure it out easily. Sure, there were glitches along the way; two of them my fault and one of them Harvest Moon's fault, but this latter one (a missing timber) was remedied very quickly by Harvest Moon. Notwithstanding the wicked rain we had last winter, my contractor finished in about two months, even installing a wood stove. I'm very proud of the outcome.Service: Log home package kit
