We are delighted with the results of our bathroom remodeling project, and we greatly enjoyed the experience of working with Leo and the Woodland Building and Remodeling team (Jose and Jeffrey). We contracted Woodland to renovate our primary bathroom and a guest bathroom. The project involved installing automated skylights, heated floors, large format tiles (4’x2’), low profile shower sills, a floating shower bench, a Toto “smart toilet”, sound-proofed walls, and recessing an upper vanity cabinet with custom framed mirrors. The workmanship is impeccable, and the team worked with conscientious regard for keeping our living spaces clean and orderly. The overall experience has left us contemplating more renovation projects to tackle!... A big “thank you” to Leo, Jose and Jeffrey for delivering a project that exceeded our expectations!

Many thanks to Leo, Jose and Pablo for our recently completed kitchen and dining room gut reno and updated powder/laundry room. They were a pleasure to work with, the work was done so meticulously, and we couldn’t be happier with the process and the end result. Leo communicated well throughout the construction. He was either on-site or checked in each day to make sure we were happy with the day’s work and to let us know what was upcoming.The project included removing a wall, taking the space down to the studs, adding a new window, replacing tile with hardwood to blend with other rooms, and building out a full custom kitchen. Of course in our 1966 home, they uncovered a variety of problems, but Leo and crew didn’t take any shortcuts fixing them and kept us informed. Their experience showed in creative problem-solving, and I could tell that Leo just loves to make things right.Leo was also so helpful in making design recommendations, helping us to work through the options like lighting, paint colors, and molding. Leo and his team did a fantastic job bringing my wife and I vision into reality. We wanted a 4 season pool house that would double as a chic rustic hangout during the offseason. The pool house includes a full HVAC system, bathroom, septic system, full kitchen, lounge, 9 foot outdoor overhang and cathedral pine tongue and groove indoor and outdoor ceilings. It was important that we also matched the exterior style and color to the main house which Leo was able to do flawlessly. No one would ever think this pool house was built 13 years after the main house was constructed. He accomplished the same result with a front porch addition he did for us 3 years ago - you can never tell it was done after the fact. Leo does a great job partnering with his clients (a lost skill set these days) to help them navigate through the design decision making process, building process, working with subcontractors and troubleshooting issues quickly during the entire project. He instills a high degree of confidence within his customers that their vision will be achieved and most of the time even better than imagined. We created a new bathroom from a loft area. This also drove significant changes to the master bedroom and office. A post and beam home created special challenges. Leo consulted extensively on the design before and during the process and maintained daily communications. The attention to detail was high and his team was helpful and attentive. I have used Leo three times over the past 22 years. 3 years ago he replaced my deck. I was so please I contacted him for my kitchen renovation this year. Leo and his crew are always on time to the job in the morning and finished the job on time. I was away while he was working on the kitchen. He kept in touch asking specific questions, nothing is too small. He’s highly detailed and was concerned about the colors of the light bulbs in the new fixtures.
