I needed dumpsters for several jobs in New Haven. Called Cherry Hill in the morning to schedule for next day. One 20 yarder came that afternoon. Driver placed plywood on driveway to protect it and then placed it after navigating a 12 foot wide driveway!Always helpful drivers and pickups are easily scheduled!!Great service and pricing. I always order my dumpsters from Cherry Hill. One time I could not close the door to the dumpster so I called and they walked me through it. Very cool about it, very nice. I also like that they have tree/brush-specific dumpsters for large yard work when I have removed trees after big storms. I'll be calling again soon when I clean our the garage!

Cherry Hill currently has a construction project on Chestnut Hill Rd in Glastonbury. The lot is small and close to the road. Cherry Hill personnel block the travel lanes with their construction vehicles without hiring police to direct traffic. Today, an enormous dump truck stopped in the travel lane and flipped on its hazard lights. After waiting several minutes for traffic in the opposite direction to pass, I attempted to pass the dump truck which then lunged forward and left into the oncoming travel lane, nearly driving me off the road as I was passing. The driver exited his cab and started cursing at me in a threatening manner. I am fortunate I was not injured. When the truck stopped in the travel lane and flipped on it’s hazard lights, it seemed to me and the vehicles behind me that we were intended to go around this massive dump truck. Apparently, a work van on the site was also moving and the dump truck had to move to the travel lane while I was passing to avoid striking the van. Since Cherry Hill does not care about safety, it did not have anyone present directing traffic to avoid a collision. Most of the workers on the site appear to lack proper work credentials. OSHA should absolutely investigate this dangerous situation. When I returned to photograph the scene, the dump truck was gone and the white van was parked off road but one of the trucks was still partially obstructing the road.

We've used cherry hill twice now. We just bought our first home and had some clean out and projects to do. They had the best prices for a 2 week rental and quickest drop off and I was able to order online. They were really really great at communicating with me and getting the dumpster exactly where I wanted it. If we needed more time, we were able to extend the rental. They make it really easy. MJP Flooring here. I started a floor replacement project the week of February 27thand I scheduled a dumpster for that day which they never showed up. I scheduled a new dumpster for the 1st. of March Wednesday which was the soonest they could deliver but it was since since Tuesday the 28th we were due for snow which yes did happen. After we were completed with the project I scheduled a pick up for the 6th of March being the following Monday. It's now the 13th a full week after and my client has let me know Cherry Hills dumpster is still in their driveway. I call to find out what's happened and I get told that a pick up was tried on monday but due to their being snow they couldn't retrieve their dumpster which fine but why was the no other attempt to remove it any other day of THAT week? I ask when they pickup their dumpster again and I get told to make sure there's no snow in the driveway or they'll charge me a travel fee. Weather's been fine from the 6th till the 13th today but we're scheduled to have snow again tonight. So what? Is their dumpster going to sit at my client's house another week until the snow clears again? Serious lack of communication with these people and it really doesn't matter who picks up when you call them, the attitudes thats arise from them having to pick up the phone and provide customer service is emberassing for the their business to say the least. Ohhh and please give me a fee for that extra time your dumpster as had to sit at my clients house by your own fault so I can sue ya'll!!

I own a painting company and we were doing an interior and exterior painting project in Simsbury. We also do light carpentry and the customer also asked if I could price out the demo of the damaged garage drywall and replace it with new drywall. I told her I would. I knew I would need a container for the disposal and I called Cherry Hill Construction and spoke with Ben 2 minutes before they were closing.
