Incredibly professional: showed up on time, scheduled an estimate quickly, was incredibly kind and walked me through the entire process. Spend extra time explaining how mold spreads/works, and how it needs to be treated.Spent extra time writing out two estimates (one for the work as I requested, and one for the work he recommended). Was very professional and thorough with his explanation of the possible options. He’s been incredibly kind and understanding during multiple reschedulings. Quoted price was a few hundred dollars lower than lowest price from 3 competitors. Will update review after work is performed, but so far really impressed by Red Star Restoration.

We wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the cleaning you did of our carpets and furniture. The oriental rug in the dining room in particular really looks good now. Our son-in-law who is severely allergic to pet hair stayed with us for 3 full days and had no problems. We did get a hepa air filter for their bedroom as you suggested, and that seemed to help also. So thank you very much. We are very pleased with your work.

My worst "repair" experience ever. We had a water leak from a shutoff value and after this was fixed we called Red Star for an estimate on remediation of the water damage. Our dishwasher was next to the location of the leak and the Red Star representtive insisted on pullingout the dishwasher to check behind it. He only mentioned "I'm not a plumber" after he had pulled the dishwasher out and was puzzling overhow to put it bsck. After he shoved it back by brute force, breaking offa few pieces, water started to pool on our kitchen floor. He tried toconvince us that the dishwasher had been leaking all along, even thoughit ran fine the previous day.We had a plumber come out and replace the pipes which the Red Starperson had broken, which had to be done before we can install a newdishwasher. This cost $500. The dishwasher was damaged beyondrepair. We won't know if the Red Star person also damaged thepower connection until we have an electrician out to connect thereplacement. Our dishwasher was relatively old, so I wouldn'tattach much value to it, but we have better ways to spend our timethan searching for a replacement for an appliance which worked finethis morning. We are out of pocket $500 so far just for the plumbingdamage, and this was just to get an estimate for the work we needed at the beginning of the day!I think the positive reviews for Red Star must be fake, since they are themost irresponsible and incompetant repair service I've ever made themistake of contacting.Update: the business replied to falsely claim that the dishwasher was already leaking. It worked fine and did not leak when used the day beforethe Red Star person showed up. If Red Start continues to deny the damage they did, I can post pictures of the pipes that were trashed whenthe dishwasher was pulled out and then shoved back in improperly.The fact that Red Star's response to the problems they created is tocall me a liar should tell anyone reading this everything they need to knowabout the company.

They were very prompt to quote and charge for it with no follow up. The quote was not for what was needed. Tried contacting them with multiple emails, voicemails and text with no answer.
