My husband and I would give 10/10 if we could. Brian is professional, very responsive, flexible, and was helpful at guiding us through options. We initially contacted Brian to uninstall our old glass sliding shower door, and subsequently replace our old setup with a new, permanent, curtain rod, remove/replace old caulk and grout with new, sprayed on a protection coat, cleaned it up, and our shower now looks amazing and brand-new! In the process, one of our toilets also broke, and he was very flexible to check it out and see if he could fix it the same day he was here for our shower, which he did! With the added project, work, and materials, the total cost was within where we had expected. We recommend The Renovators LLC (Brian) and will definitely be reaching out to him for future home repairs. Brian was a true professional. He quickly responded to my first email and we set up a date for him to come to my house. Through the inspection, he clearly explained what he could do at a reasonable price and also showed ways that I could help to keep the cost down. Brian did amazing work in both of my showers as he cleaned up and waterproofed my tiles. He is personable, efficient and very good at his job. Plus, he likes pets! I will gladly give his name to any friend looking for work to be done. Brian was a pleasure to work with. My wife contacted him last week with several items related to our master bath. He was extremely flexible and very well prepared when last minute additions were added to the job. He replaced two sinks/faucets a toilet and the light fixture. On top of that he also had the parts handy to fix our screen door which had been broken for a couple of years now. Quality work and a great guy as well. We first met Brian when we needed various repairs done around our house. We were immediately impressed by his enthusiasm, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Thus far in 2022 I have hired The Renovators to wire and install numerous smart home devices, light fixtures, and a new bathroom sink and vanity. Most recently, Brian installed an electrical box with a switch and full-time power outlets in my garage. He drilled through concrete to wire and install a smart flood lamp on the outside of the garage. Brian and his team work quickly and demonstrate outstanding attention to detail. Brian has been fantastic. We have been doing significant repairs to all facets of our home for the last few months (and have quite a few more planned in the months to come) and it has been a fantastic, easy experience. Brian is knowledgeable about virtually everything, has prompt, clear communication and does quality work. Brian is on-time (usually even a little early sometimes!) and always comes prepared to resolve the issue. If for any reason it cannot be resolved on the spot, he sets up a clear, documented plan including steps and costs so you understand how each piece of the project will work. He keeps to his deadlines, is friendly, polite and professional. We're very fortunate to have found him.

If I could give him negative stars I would. Brian took over 6 weeks to complete 2 window replacements. The workmanship was so poor that I had to hire someone else to fix all of Brian “The Renovators” mistakes. Issues with window lining up. Wrong material on exterior. Didn’t use right nails. Didn’t secure windows properly. This whole job was an absolute disaster. He makes you pay most of the money upfront via zelle making it very difficult to get any sort of refund if work is not done properly. I highly recommend using someone else!! As the owner of an older home, I enlisted Brian deMarco to assess a list of repair needs, big and small. I appreciated his conservative estimates on what could be done to hold things together (we’re an older couple, not up for major renovations…only enough to continue living in our home comfortably). So far, his handy work—including plumbing, rescreening a porch, installing new cables to garage doors, power washing, repairing and painting a deck, cleaning gutters—has been great. Currently going through the home inspection process as a first time home buyer. Brian came out to do an estimate for some structural repairs that were needed on the home. He showed up to the job 15 minutes early. He took the time to go over all of his findings in detail (including items I did not even mention!). He provided a same day written /pdf estimate that was needed for us to go through with negotiations! Very excited to use Brian to do the work on the house and will update once the work is complete!

Having just recently moved into a new place right before Christmas it was so tricky trying to find someone we would trust to take care of our issues days within the holiday. I did my research and was impressed with other reviews and reached out to The Renovators about our hot water heater issues. Not only did Brian call back pretty quickly, but while he was on family vacation! Before even stepping foot in our place, he asked for a description and pictures so he could get a better idea of how to help us. And when it came to coming over, he opened up his Saturday after a snowstorm to fix our issues. We recently moved into a beautiful 7 year old house in Shelton and sorry to say, discovered a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Our neighbor suggested we call Brian De Marco. We are so thankful we did. Not sure there is such a thing as a "perfect" handyman, but if I were to use that term it would be for Brian. He has outstanding craftsmanship, is neat, highly customer oriented, and timely.
