Another 48 hours later, the work was beautifully completed.The whole team was incredibly professional and friendly. I had a leak from one of my exterior skylights, after a some research, various quotes and some contractors not even reaching back or showing up, Sonny reached out immediately and assessed the work that needed to be done, he explained everything well detailed and even came out to reassure me that the issue that needed to be taken care of could be done without a full lower roof replacement, I signed the agreement with them and the next day they showed up first thing in the morning and were done by 3pm. I’m extremely pleased with the work that was done and how quick and efficient Sonny and his team were. Sonny went above and beyond and even performed minor things such as re applying sealant on my vents and openings when that wasn’t part of the agreement, I’m extremely grateful for Nutmeg Roofing since now days it’s really hard to find contractors that will do a good job or even show up! 100% will recommend and use them for my exterior needs again.

There was a hole in my roof under a solar panel. I contacted Nutmeg Roofing who responded the same day and came to assess the situation. within minutes of first contact. This is where i first met Sonny who walked us thru the process that would be needed to make the roof do the job a roof should do. keep us dry and safe and animals out. i have dealt with various contractors, but dealing with Sonny was a different experience. Very matter of fact and no high pressure. A real straight shooter. . So we decided to use Nutmeg RoofingPrior to the team’s arrival, Sonny let us know what to expect, Today the team arrived and did the agreed upon work. The team was courteous and professional and very hard working., From the time they arrived to their departure every team member was doing their best to complete the job and did accomplish the work in one day!!! This includes the clean-up and the clean up was done to perfection.Too bad star ratings only go to Five stars because this company deserves a much higher rating.

I called Sonny about some water we were getting in our Sunroom ceiling. Not only did Sonny come out the same day to review the issue, he had his team come out later the same day to assess the work that would need to be done so that he had a second opinion on the quote to make sure everything was aligned properly.With all that done, Sonny had us scheduled later in the week with a good price given the exploratory nature of the issue and trying to resolve it. We had some schedule set-backs due to the weather not cooperating, but Sonny was incredibly communicative at each step—answering texts pretty promptly, picking up the phone almost before it rang, and getting back to me via text when he said he would nees to consult with his foreman or team on something. I've had a few contractors come through for quotes and to do work, and I can honestly say that Sonny and Nutmeg Roofing has been one of the best experiences in communicating, scheduling and talking through what needed to be done.I want to mention the work itself. Sonny and his team came through on the day they were scheduled to do work—got to work quickly and finished up ahead of schedule. All through this, Sonny was on-sight and available to answer questions as well as update us on what they found and needed to do. They even took off our old gutter guards that were super ugly and not working well while they were up on the roof for us.Finally, I want to highlight that in the course of their work, a few of our roof shingles got damaged/ cracked. When Sonny saw this, he scheduled a follow up with his foreman to come out within two days to replace those cracked shingles and get things sorted. I appreciate the accountability and effort put into following through.We've had the fix on our roof for a few days, and there has been some rain in that time, and so far no water! We know we have some other siding and roof work we'll want to tackle in the future, and I know that I'll be calling Sonny up first thing to take a look at what we'll need to do. Honestly can't recommend them enough.

After an emergency situation with a leaky roof, Sonny came out the next day to assess the problem and if possible fix it on the spot! As the problem emerged to be a bit more complicated, Sonny and his team got the immediate problem taken care of the next day and assessed if further work was necessary. Again, anything that could be handled immediately was, on the spot. Sonny was in communication all throughout the work about each step and what he was finding. He was kind and gracious to work with me to figure out payment and incredibly fair with his pricing. I cannot recommend this company enough! I am so grateful for their work!

They handled everything for us through our insurance and was able to get us a brand new roof and interior damage covered. So glad we decided to go with nutmeg roofing! We had a small leak in our house after a bad rainstorm and with another 2-4 inches expected in less than 24 hours we were a bit panicked. We were so lucky to have called Nutmeg Roofing. Sonny came out the same day we called and offered to do the work on a Sunday for us considering the upcoming storm. I'm sorry to say I need to revise this review. Nutmeg Roofing did respond promptly, but it turned out they misdiagnosed the source of the leaks and slapped on a fix that had nothing to do with the problems. When their own foreman inspected to see what had gone wrong, he himself said it was a "bad job" - his words. Nutmeg did not offer a proper repair or even a partial reimbursement - only a tarp-up at full price, which I even considered, but then I couldn't get a call back. I paid thousands of dollars for essentially nothing - definitely feel like I got played.Service: Roof repair

I found Nutmeg Roofing through a close relative that was looking online for stellar reviews for a roof contractor. I needed repairs to be done to the soffits by the roof. Nutmeg Roofing Company were incredibly helpful in laying out my options for the Soffit work. Sonny (the owner) worked with me on a timeline and budget. They did an excellent job on the soffit repair. When he explained to me that his company did more than roofs and siding but were general contractors as well, I showed him the other work both inside and outside the home that needed to be done over the next year. He provided me with estimates, timing and made suggestions for sequencing the work. He had crew members that could handle different jobs, whether replacing plaster walls and ceiling with drywall, removing and installing floors, building a deck, painting rooms or refinishing a driveway. His crew is very professional and efficient. They do excellent work. The experience has been very encouraging and I would highly recommend them for any home remodeling or home repair needs.Service: Roof repair
